About: With years of hands-on pet care experience, I provide compassionate, reliable, and personalized care for every animal. I treat each furry friend like family, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and happy while in my care. I also have experience with special needs and senior animals so I’m comfortable giving meds if needed. I’m currently working a part-time job and I'm a part time college student. My schedule may vary each week. I usually work Wednesday-Sunday starting at 5pm. Sometimes I work the morning shift. I’m not available on weekends because I work. When introducing myself to a new animal I like to start out quite and get on there level to make them feel more comfortable. I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel happy and safe by respecting their spaces, personality, and unique needs.

I've always adored animals and have two dogs of my own, one calm and one who requires lots of exercise, so I've got a wide range of pups in used to! I'm a reliable dog walker, willing to play, bathe, love and actually care about your pets the way you do. Im working part time right now which means i've got ample time to play with your pets! Im free almost any day of the week for boarding and walking up until August 10th in the evenings! Im willing to accommodate any living situation, no fence? No problem! I've got a leash and two legs. My pups get into everything if left alone so I'll be sure to always be present for anything your animal needs, and any extra support they may need.

About: I have had pets all my life. I have had dogs of mine that I’ve trained . I know how hard it is to leave pets behind so helping people take care of them while they are gone is a passion. I currently work part time in the mornings and have a very flexible schedule. I would be happy to help your family out when needed. I have 1 frenchie and 3 cats. Our yard is fenced in. If no fence, I ALWAYS use a leash! Safety is my top priority!
About: I work at Central Bark Rochester and have hours of volunteering, education, and hard work in canine care and training. My training and learning continues by the day. Im well versed in many different care/training practices and can adjust to each dog's individual needs well. Not only do I value the desires of pet parent's, but the feelings and consent of their furry friends. I work part time and have availability in the mornings, evenings, and weekends! Afternoons vary. I aim for longer sessions to fill the mornings and shorter in the evenings. I am willing to unlock/lock or enter codes to maintain home safety. I am comfortable crating dogs, keeping them seperate from other animals, and working with reactive individuals (see bottom for details). I am also comfortable cleaning up after pets in or outside the house aswell as administering first aid and medications.
“Mikaela leaves some of the best Rover card updates I’ve seen. The summary and pictures always make my day! She is prompt with responses and communicates clearly. You can tell that she genuinely cares, and that means everything to me!”

“Nevaeh is the best! Our babies absolutely loved her. We felt so comfortable leaving for the weekend knowing she was watching them! Will definitely have her back the next time we are out of town.”

“Alison was fantastic! We came home and the cats were relaxed and happy. She was able to work with one cat that is always in need of attention and another that needs space and will let you know when she is ready for attention. If you need a pet sitter, she is wonderful!”

About: My family has had 2-3 labs since I was born. I have been active in their care from feeding, bathing, walking and training since I was a teenager and have occasionally cared for other pets as well - dogs and bunnies. I am allergic to cats and will not be able to spend as much time in homes with cats, so please keep this in mind before booking services. My work schedule involves a rotating schedule of 3 12 hour shifts a week. Please message me if you have specific questions about my schedule and what I am able to accommodate! I am respectful of privacy and personal items when in someone else’s home. I pay attention to the dogs demeanor and respond appropriately. For example, if the dog is more energetic and playful I will make sure to walk and/or play with them until they’re tired. I will not force the dog to do anything that they don’t want to.
“Angela is such a fantastic human and my senior dog Drako absolutely ADORES her! I feel at ease knowing that Drako is in great hands when we're away and Angela is watching him!🖤”

About: My entire childhood my aunt who lived with us, bred toy poodles. So, caring for puppies to dogs is my specialty. From feeding to walks, snuggles and play, I do it all with love and care. Since having children, we have discussed fostering dogs and we found this would be the best way to love on some dogs and make an income as a stay-at-home mom of two. I am a stay-at-home mom, so we are available mostly all the time other than drop off and Pickup from school, and can move commitments around fairly easily. I have a fenced in yard, and two young children to run around and play with your fur baby, walk with them and help feed them. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of running space along walking paths.
About: Experienced dog owner and sitter. I’ve been around dogs my entire life in some capacity. I have been steadily watching dogs for over 10 years and have been an individual dog owner (not family dog from childhood) for 9+ years. We work on basic skills such as sit, lay, down, shake, and more. Have watched dogs of various ages from 6 weeks old to 15 years old. We provide genuine care for all dogs. I work full time with flexibility to work some days from home. This flexibility allows me time to take various walks, snack breaks, and more with my dogs or yours! When my schedule does not allow for such flexibility the dogs get walks before and after work with plenty of time in the yard (when possible) or with some other kind of stimulation. While we respect owners wishes, dogs are often allowed on the furniture and sleep in the bed with us. While in a client's home their home rules are followed, like feeding scheduling, potty breaks, and furniture.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rochester
Mia is very kind and patient. We had never boarded or had a sitter for our nervous little adoptee before so didn’t know what to expect, but everything went super well. Getting pictures of him sitting in her lap just made my day. She was timely and followed instructions/suggestions as well.

Callie was amazing! I submitted a last-minute drop-in request for both my dog and cat, and she was incredibly accommodating. She took the time to make sure both pets were cared for and provided updates that gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog was happy and well cared for, and I appreciated that she also made sure my cat’s needs were met. It’s clear that Callie genuinely cares about animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I would absolutely book with Callie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsive pet sitter.

Andrea was a perfect fit for our pets. We have 2 dogs and a cat. One of our dogs has anxiety and usually doesn’t like new people right away. When Andrea came for the meet and greet, both our dogs approached her immediately looking for love (which she gave them). She did a wonderful job creating a care plan for our pets and providing communication throughout the drop ins. When we arrived home, I think our animas were a little disappointed that we were home, as they seemed to enjoy Andrea. We will definitely be booking Andrea for drop in’s again in the future.

Marie is such a great person, I highly suggest booking with her. This is our first time using outside care, but we definitely needed it for a vacation. Marie made that process so easy and smooth. Sheeba was skeptical at first, but Marie was very persistent, patient and loving that Sheeba warmed up to her with no time. She always updated us with pictures during her visits, and us as a family enjoyed every second of the reassurance that our fur baby was taken care of just like we would. Definitely keeping her around for future needs 🐶❤️

Molly watched our dog while we were out of town over a holiday, and she was wonderful! Our plans came together very last minute, and we really appreciated her flexibility and great communication. She is so sweet and personable, and we felt completely comfortable having her care for our pup. She sent plenty of photos and videos during our trip, which gave us great peace of mind. We would definitely recommend her!

Highly recommend! Paxton took great care of our dogs during a drop in visit and walk. We had four at the time due to having our own plus dog sitting. She handled their varied needs and personalities with ease. She is always quick to respond and took the extra time to do a meet and greet before hand. We will gladly rebook in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
