About: I’ve been helping take care of the pets of friends and family since I was in middle school. I mainly specialize in dog, cat, and rodent care. For the past 7 years I’ve worked in positions helping to care for animals in research settings, mainly rodents, rabbits, and pigs. However my biggest love is caring for our furry and not so furry pets at home. I’m a big proponent of animal welfare and always look to ensure any critter under my care has all it needs to live a healthy, fulfilled life. I currently work M-F 7-3:30. I am able to do afternoon/evening walks or house drop/ins if need be. I am free most weekends as well for walks or drop-ins or if necessary overnight care. I’m a big proponent of animal welfare. I always want to see pets and all animals really live long, healthy lives. I’m willing to follow any guidelines a pet owner has regarding their pet(s) and will always be respectful of an owner’s wishes. If I were to stay in a client’s home for an overnight visit I would be respectful of the client’s space and would be as neat and tidy with my stay there as possible.

“Alison was fantastic! We came home and the cats were relaxed and happy. She was able to work with one cat that is always in need of attention and another that needs space and will let you know when she is ready for attention. If you need a pet sitter, she is wonderful!”

About: I have taken care of dogs as large as an Italian Mastiff and as small as mini schnauzers. I am comfortable and confident with handling dogs of all temperaments. I currently go to college full time. I only have classes in the mornings, so my days are pretty open to spend time with dogs or take them on walks. I currently have 4 mini schnauzers at home and provide them with a safe and loving environment. I would bring that same care for your beloved pet.
About: Hi! I’m Matt, a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I am very attentive to each pet’s emotional needs. I’ve cared for puppies who need structure, adult dogs who thrive on routine, and senior dogs who benefit from patience and a slower pace. I’m comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions carefully. My wife is a former veterinary technician and now a PhD researcher working from home. While I provide the daily hands-on care, her background adds an extra layer of awareness and reassurance, particularly for senior or special-needs pets. Whenever possible, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet. It gives us a chance to make sure everyone feels comfortable and that your pet has a chance to explore and get familiar with me. If you're looking for dependable, warm, experienced pet care, I would love to meet you and your pet. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, entertained, and never lonely. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I’m home full-time, allowing consistent in-home dog boarding, dependable drop-in visits, and reliable dog walking throughout the week. In our home, pets are treated like part of the family. They’re welcome to relax on the couch and even on the bed if that’s what they’re used to. Outdoor time is always supervised in our secure yard, and I monitor interactions carefully. I understand how important it is for you to feel at ease while you’re away. That’s why I send regular photo and video updates so you can see your pet happy, relaxed, and having fun. For drop-in visits and dog walking, I follow your instructions closely, maintain your routines, and treat your space with complete respect.

About: I have done pet sitting for friends and I’ve enjoyed it a lot! I love to care for dogs and cats. I also taught my own cats to sit and speak! I can also do some training and behavior correction.
“Anna was a great pet sitter! She was also incredibly flexible, I accidentally booked the wrong dates (I put May instead of April), and she kindly accommodated the change without any issues. Most importantly, she got along really well with my cat, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I would definitely recommend her!”

About: My entire childhood my aunt who lived with us, bred toy poodles. So, caring for puppies to dogs is my specialty. From feeding to walks, snuggles and play, I do it all with love and care. Since having children, we have discussed fostering dogs and we found this would be the best way to love on some dogs and make an income as a stay-at-home mom of two. I am a stay-at-home mom, so we are available mostly all the time other than drop off and Pickup from school, and can move commitments around fairly easily. I have a fenced in yard, and two young children to run around and play with your fur baby, walk with them and help feed them. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of running space along walking paths.
About: My experience providing pet care ranges from working at a boarding facility to neighborhood pet sitting! I have experience caring for senior pets that may require medication administration, and I'm comfortable providing the extra patience and attention they may need. Whatever your pets needs are I am happy to provide care that will give you peace of mind! I'm also a nurse, which means I have four days off every week with a open and flexible schedule to meet your needs! My schedule is not set days every week, so this allows me flexibility to meet any last minute coverage your pet may need. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs or cats. As a pet owner myself, my goal is to bring assurance that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rochester
Finding dog care in Rochester Mn has been a challenge for us. We’ve had sitters who seemed to adore the dogs but didn’t communicate much or we always worry about finding someone capable of handling a large working dog breed Nicole is everything and more you could wish for from a dog care profession. PLUS she has professional trainer expertise AND adores German Shepherd dogs! GSD She kept us informed on her arrival & the dogs emotional state both days we booked her for “check in”. We were gone for 10hr days and needed to have someone to just “let the dogs out”. Nicole engaged with them, got them to play and even documented the number of pees & visits to a water bowl. Ontop of that we got photos of our dogs smiling I’m not certain about all pet owners but when i get a photo of my dog/s smiling while I’m away it just puts us at ease and we can enjoy where we are without anxiety. So if you want to be able to relax and enjoy your day knowing your dogs are happy, safe, & cared for by a pro - Nicole is your go-to!!

Elise was so kind and thoughtful with our dogs, even with our little one's accidental dribbles! She played with them really well, gave them plenty of walking time, and followed our care instructions to a tee. We look forward to having Elise take care of our doggos again!

Callie was amazing! I submitted a last-minute drop-in request for both my dog and cat, and she was incredibly accommodating. She took the time to make sure both pets were cared for and provided updates that gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog was happy and well cared for, and I appreciated that she also made sure my cat’s needs were met. It’s clear that Callie genuinely cares about animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I would absolutely book with Callie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and responsive pet sitter.

Andrea was a perfect fit for our pets. We have 2 dogs and a cat. One of our dogs has anxiety and usually doesn’t like new people right away. When Andrea came for the meet and greet, both our dogs approached her immediately looking for love (which she gave them). She did a wonderful job creating a care plan for our pets and providing communication throughout the drop ins. When we arrived home, I think our animas were a little disappointed that we were home, as they seemed to enjoy Andrea. We will definitely be booking Andrea for drop in’s again in the future.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
