“Julia did an incredible job with my cats. Very communicative, sent great photos, and overall did a great job with them. One of my cats requires regular medication and had no problems administering the meds. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and have a passion to make sure they get to love their life to the fullest. My dream is to own a hobby farm full of adopted dogs! I work Monday-Friday but have a flexible schedule and would love to fit your pet in when I can! I would love to spend all of my free time caring for your fur baby. I have two fur babies at home who love making new friends! I will care for your pet in my home or yours in any way that will make your pet feel like nothing has changed.
“Lauren is such a delightful person. She is so attentive to my concerns for my elderly dog. She made my time away so much more relaxing. I have already booked her again. If she is available, you will not be sorry for booking Lauren.”

About: I recently retired early, sold my small business, and am excited to spend more time doing something that has always been a big part of my life - caring for and loving animals. I have been a pet mom and caregiver for many years, looking after furry friends of every age, personality, and quirk. I have 2 kitties, one who is an outgoing crazy character and the other sweet and shy. We sadly lost our Goldendoodle recently and I'd love to share cuddles and walks with your dog(s). I am reliable, patient and calm - and treat every pet with the same affection and care I give my own. I recently retired so my schedule is very flexible for daily drop-ins, overnight stays, walks, playtime, and cuddles. Have a last-minute trip or unexpected work meeting? I have the time and treats! When caring for your pets, I put their safety and comfort first. With many years of experience caring for pets, I know that each is unique, with different personalities and comfort level with new people. I treat every animal as if they were my own. My goal is for everything to feel just as safe, calm, and familiar as when you are there. I follow your routines closely, keep your home tidy, and pay attention to all of the little things that help your pet feel secure. What sets me apart is that during my career, I traveled quite a bit and hired pet sitters to stay with my kitties and dog. I know, from a client's perspective, what was important to me and my fur babies. I will send you daily updates and photos (unless that's not your preference), so you and your pets can feel completely comfortable and stress-free.

About: Ive taken care of pets for friends and family across all sorts of breeds, species, and ages. I have years of experience owning a senior dog, and understand just how much our fuzzy friends mean to us. I currently work a super flexible job as a substitute teacher, and can make nearly any time you need work! Im guaranteed to be availible weekends and week nights, and will make more time if you are able to give me notice. I am keenly aware of the environment around me, as well as the lovable friends that inhabit it. I can quickly observe and react to their behaviors, and meet their needs with no delays.
“Whitney is nothing short of phenomenal. She truly cares about the animals in her care and most importantly, the connection that pet owners share with their pets. By embracing that connection, she carries it directly into her animal care, allowing both pets and owners experiencing any separation to feel love and comfort. Her communication is incredibly timely, with pet owners receiving fully informed updates … all along with wonderful imagery of your pet(s) and her true dedication. Whitney is stellar and we are so very grateful for her!”

“Perla did a great job looking after our 2 cats while we were away on vacation for 11 days. She took time to send us photos every day and took great care of keeping up on their food/water/litterbox. Our cats are normally very shy and took to her immediately, I will 100% use her services in the future 😊”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Hampton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
