“Lauren was wonderful! She accepted the challenge of the diabetic cat that needs insulin shots 2x a day. I have 3 cats that she took wonderful care of. I also received updates and pictures every time she visited. Even though I was on vacation getting updates made me happy. I will definitely be hiring Lauren again when I need a cat sitter.”

About: I would love to help you out with your doggies! We always had dogs growing up. I’ve had dogs my whole adult life as well. I rarely have had just one and the most I’ve owned at once is 3. I’d have more if my husband okayed it! 😂 I am a teacher on summer break and have a lot of flexibility in my daily schedule. I would love to fill my days up with walking dogs! I am hoping to do some dog walking or playtime during the day, but I’m open to bringing them to my home to stay if needed. I currently have one chihuahua who likes to lounge on my couch. We have a regular client that we have about every other month. He is an adorable keeshound who loves to play. I have taken care of many types of dogs with varying temperaments over the years. I am happy to help you out!
“Alexandra was absolutely wonderful with our dogs. She’s always on time, communicative, friendly and so caring to the dogs. Will always use her for our dog sitting needs!!!”
About: Hi! I’m Alex, and I’d love to be your dog’s next best friend! ❤️🐶 Animals have been a huge part of my life from day one—my dad was a veterinarian, we had multiple cats and dogs at home and I spent much of my childhood helping out in his clinic. That early experience gave me a deep understanding of animal behavior, care, and most of all—a serious soft spot for furry friends. Sorry scaly guys, you just aren’t for me. ❌🐍🦎 I’ve had many different breeds in my home and I currently have a sweet English Setter who loves to run and snuggle as much as I do. I’ve helped potty train and teach basic obedience to my puppies, so I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs and understand their needs. Whether it’s a long walk, a drop-in visit, or a cozy day at my home, your pup will be treated like family—spoiled with love, attention, and plenty of belly rubs. I’m an active person and a runner, so if your dog loves to get outside and burn energy, I’m your girl! I offer: ✅ Afternoon or weekend dog walking ✅ Afternoon or weekend drop-ins ✅ Limited boarding (non-reactive dogs and kid-friendly dogs only – I have two young children at home) I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment and truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I know how much your pets mean to you, and I promise to treat them with the same care and love I give my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! 🐾 I work school hours giving me flexibility to care for your dog in the early morning, mid afternoon or evening during the school year and greater flexibility during the summer months. I have limited availability for boarding during the week but please inquire with specific times. I hope to become a part of your pet care routine. I treat your pet as my own. I ensure a secure leash when walking and I have a fenced in yard at my home in a quiet residential area. I am also able to crate your pet as needed.

“Nicole was wonderful with our cat Phoenix! She went above and beyond when we had a scheduling error at the end of our trip to help us get our keys back, and we loved the daily photos she sent us. We look forward to working with Nicole again when we are out of town!”

“Jaci is so sweet. I knew during our initial meeting that my sweet girl would be loved on during her drop in. I am so thankful to find someone who is as sweet and patient with an elderly dog as Jaci is. I loved seeing the pictures she sent. I will definitely contact Jaci again.”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities, and needs. I grew up in a family that always had dogs, and caring for them has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Today, I share my home with two wonderful dogs—a Cocker Spaniel and a Bulldog—who keep life fun, active, and full of love. Over the years, I've gained experience raising two puppies of different breeds, giving me a strong understanding of puppy care, training consistency, socialization, and the patience that young dogs need as they grow and learn. I've also cared for senior dogs, including administering medications and accommodating age-related mobility and health needs. In addition, I have experience working with special-needs and disabled dogs, and I understand the importance of providing compassionate, individualized care tailored to each dog's unique situation. As a teacher on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pet. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment activities, or simply relaxing with a caring companion, I'll make sure they receive the attention, affection, and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make your dog feel comfortable, secure, and loved—just like they do with you. I look forward to meeting you and your pet and providing the same level of care I would want for my own pets! I am a teacher so unfortunately, I do not have a flexible schedule during the week. During the weekends, I can be much more flexible! When I stay in someone’s home to care for their pet, I will treat it with the upmost respect, leaving it better than I found it. I am clean, respectful and responsible.
“Michelle is absolutely wonderful! She’s a great communicator and has been available even on shorter notice for us. I know our cats are in good hands when Michelle is looking after them.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Farmington
We had a wonderful experience with Emma! She was incredibly attentive to both of our dogs, making sure they were well cared for, played with, and comfortable while we were away. She was always on time and communicated clearly, which gave great peace of mind. Her thoroughness and genuine care truly stood out. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated pet sitter!

This was my first time using Rov. services as Bailey does not like boarding when we take him! I am glad I chose Rov. services and Amy as the caregiver. Amy was very detailed on Baileys activities from the time she entered until leaving. She provided pictures of Bailey as well. I will diffently be using Rov.moving forward, and having Amy as our permanent caregiver for Bailey! Thank you Amy for a wonderful experience!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
