“This was our first Rover and at first we were apprehensive to book, however, Katrina and Drew did a great job taking care of our two dogs. We got to meet Katrina and Drew before booking and immediately knew our dogs would be in good hands. They are nice and easy going people which we naturally gravitated towards. While we were gone they sent us pictures and updates of the dogs. Would definitely recommend. We will use them again over a dog boarding place in a heartbeat.”

“Our dog, Cali, had a wonderful stay with Marine and Sean! They provided daily updates and pictures during her stay, and it was quite apparent that she felt "at home" when we came to pick her up when her extended stay with them was ending. We highly recommend Marine, and hope we are able to let Cali stay with them again in the future!”

“ChatGPT said: I recently had the pleasure of leaving my 12-year-old dog, Pebbles, with Dee for 5 nights, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! Dee provided excellent care for Pebbles, always keeping me updated with great communication. I could tell Pebbles was comfortable and well-cared-for, which made me feel at ease during my time away. Dee's attentiveness and kindness truly shine, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible dog sitter!”

“Brittany was a great fit for our pup. She was communicative throughout the booking and sorting process, had a good space for him to stay, and really welcomed him into her family while we were gone. Thank you!”

About: I’m a dedicated dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I grew up with both dogs and horses, and our animals were always treated as part of the family. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet while you’re away. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, gentler pace. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. At home, I have two Australian Cattle Dogs, Sydney (4) and Roo (2), both rescues. They’re active, social, and always happy to welcome new companions. Before them, I raised my dog Cooper from 7 weeks old through 14 wonderful years. I also regularly provide in-home dog sitting for friends and family, with stays ranging from a few days to several weeks. I work from home which provides me plenty of time to keep an eye on your pup and let them out for potty breaks. I also try to work in some play time during the day where I can. My dogs insist the ball is thrown for them a lot! I feed my my own dogs around 6:30/7am and 3:30/4pm daily. I have a nice big yard with a privacy fence and 2 well socialized, friendly and playful dogs. I have good size kitchen and living room areas that can be gated off the pups need some quiet time to themselves.
“Lisa and Drew watched my two dogs for 5 days. They took very good care of them - they are both on medications and needed a little extra attention. The little boys also enjoyed them as well. They were easy to contact and quickly responded to me. I would recommend them to watch your pets! Definitely a five star review!!”

“We are so grateful to Jerad, Kali and their sweet kiddos for taking amazing care of our pups! We loved the regular photos and communication while we were on vacation, and we just know our dogs were so well cared for - can’t wait to book with them again! Thank you so much ❤️”

“Lan was an amazing dog sitter. This is my first time using Rover, and to be honest, my first time leaving my dog with anyone that wasn’t a friend or family so I was a bit nervous. Lan was friendly and helpful and sent pictures of Zoey about an hour after I left which help put my mind at ease. Over all a really good experience.”

“Heather took great care of my doggo over the holidays. I know he had a blast from the photos she sent. Happy to know my dog has a new furry friend to hang out with.”

“Lucia and her fiance were amazing with my two big dogs. Very flexible, great communication and I got lots of pics and videos. Zeus and Raven loved playing in their huge yard and came home happy and tired!”

“Elizabeth and her family took exceptional care of our 3 year old cat, Crosby for 7 days. We received daily updates and pics showing all his usual favorite things to do. He was given loving attention and they asked questions when needed. We’re looking forward to more vacation stays for Crosby with this lovely family. THANK YOU, Elizabeth!”

“We felt very at ease with Alka and Rajeev taking care of our dog for several days. We appreciated the daily check-ins and videos, which helped us know Tria was in good hands.”

“Our family trust Shelley with both doodles over extended periods of time and she consistently provides them with attention, exercise, and care. The dogs love going back to her. Highly recommended for extended stays!”

“Another successful vacation for my family in the books! I couldn't have done it without Amy and Chris watching our fur baby Chewy. Amy is amazing! I love the updates she gives us and I know he's getting the same care as if he were at home. Our dogs get along great and I love that, makes for easy dog sitting. Thanks again Amy!”

“Perla took wonderful care of my cat for 3 days. She followed all of my feeding instructions carefully and kept me updated throughout his stay. She regularly sent me photos and videos, which gave me great peace of mind. One of the things that stood out the most was seeing videos of my cat sleeping next to her daughter. To me, that showed that he felt comfortable, safe, and secure in their home. It was clear that Perla treated him with kindness and care. I highly recommend Perla to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. Thank you for taking such good care of my kitty!”

Amanda and her family were absolutely amazing with Skywalker! 🥰🐾 I felt so comfortable leaving him with them and knew he was in great hands the whole time. They treated him like part of their family, gave him lots of love and attention, and kept me updated with pictures and messages while I was away. Skywalker looked so happy and comfortable with them, which made it so much easier for me to relax and enjoy my trip without worrying about him. I’m so thankful for how well they took care of my boy! ❤️ I would absolutely trust Amanda and her family with Skywalker again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving and caring sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of him! 🥹🐶❤️

Kathi has provided the ultimate care for our aging yellow labrador Hank. He arrived for his latest stay with an upset tummy probably caused by watching us pack our bags! Kathi checked in with us and then took the extra steps you would take at home, preparing rice and meat to ease his tummy back to normal. We are so grateful to have found her! We appreciate her communication skills, including daily updates and pictures which put our minds at ease. We highly recommend Kathi's services, you will be so pleased with her care!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
