“Amy was such a life saver. I felt so comfortable since my pets were in their own home and she was able to drop in and take care them. Traveling is sometimes stressful and I was able to enjoy my time knowing the pets were safe and well taken care of. The pictures she sent of the pets while taking care of them were the highlight of each day while was away. Thanks, Amy!”

About: I have grown up with dogs in the household while I currently do not have any dogs due to my two cats and living in a rental that doesn’t allow any more than two pets. I love dog sitting for my friends and family when they go out of town! I have worked with small to large dogs, dogs with special medication need's, dogs with behavioral issues/needs and puppies. I currently work from home Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday anywhere between 8 AM to 7 PM depending on my work schedule it changes weekly but I’m more then flexible it fit in walks or drop in visits. My weekends normally consist of just relaxing at home so I thought why not look into helping people with their beloved pets in the evening and on Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately, with my two cats living in a townhome rental, I won’t be doing services in my home, however, if I dog sit in your home I will make sure that your pet gets all the correct meals needed, on time medication‘s if needed, and plenty of play times and cuddles with walks throughout the day or as requested!
About: I genuinely love animals and spending time with them, I don't have any pets but taking care of others' is such a great opportunity to fill that furry void ❤️ Not having my own pets, I'm happy to spend some of my down time with yours, whether it be sleepovers, day playing, or a random hangout sesh. Hygiene is very important to me, as well as catering to your pets' specific needs, I'm more than willing to follow any instructions given including a wide range of needs such as measuring medication, logging certain details, or monitoring a pregnant or ill pet.

“Emma was amazing! She updated me everyday how my cats were doing and sent the best photos of my girls each day too. The house was clean when I got home. But most importantly she really loved on both of the girls fulfilling their individual needs while I was away. My playful cat got time to play each day and my older cat even warmed up enough to lay on her chest and get some extra pets and kisses each day. I was halfway around the world in a country and I was not worried about the wellbeing of my cats or my house while I was away and that meant everything! I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend using Emma if you need a sitter! ❤️”

“This is our first time leaving our Nina at home and using someone outside our immediate family or friends to help. I am so impressed at how smooth it was. Maven’s professionalism, the updates with pictures and Nina’s pure content in those photos made it so much easier for us to enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much Magen, we will come back!! :)”

“This was my first time using rover and it was such a relief to know that the weight of taking care of my kitty while traveling for the holidays was lifted. Nicole was great at communicating the details of her visit and taking pictures. ♥️ Will use her again!”

I’m currently working part time so i can be with them early in the morning, mid-day, and at night! I love being able to make sure they feel safe all day! I have two dogs of my own, so caring for pets is already a big part of my daily routine. I make sure every pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and a comfortable environment. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible to help them feel safe and stress-free while their owner is away. I treat every pet like family and make sure they get lots of love and care.
About: Hello! We are an active family with a young son and an almost three year old Aussie Doodle named Marley and our newest addition is a cat named Moon. When it is nice out, you will find us outside! Marley loves having other dogs around whether it be a playmate or a snuggle buddy. Moon is usually hiding and can be kept in a separate area of the house, if needed. My partner and I have opposite schedules and Grandparents that double as babysitters. That means there is someone at the house the majority of the time to help take special care of your pet. We can be pretty flexible with drop off and pick up times. We have lots of love to give out and they will be pampered on their doggy vacation! I can also accommodate if your dog would prefer them to be the only pet in the house. Marley frequently stays at his Grandparent's house and plays with his Cousin- Pongo :) If it is your first time booking with me, use promo code KIMS56130 for $20 off.

About: I am a very loving person all around. I have many years and experience in pet sitting and in pet therapy, rescue and fostering. My friends and family trust me completely to take care of their animals. Myself and my husband and side kick Bob, love all kinds of fur babies and decided to turn our passion into a business, where both of us have the pleasure of meeting you, your pets, and doing drop in visits in your home. Mostly, we will treat and love your fur babies just like they are our own. I for sure will make visiting your home and your pets a top priority. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to meet your needs. I have a safe and clean environment. I have plenty of toys and cat treats. I have lots of playtime and keep a regular routine for them. I get down to their level and give them lots of love and attention, as I would with your pets as well. I also have a husband who is a great cat daddy and is a wonderful wingman and he loves animals including dogs as much as I do. We would treat our pet sitting responsibilities seriously, as well as respecting your home and pets for pet sitting.
About: Im a pet owner myself with 2 kitties and a bully breed. I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets including reptiles and birds as well as doing nail clippings with non aggressive pets. I taught my dog a few tricks like shake and spin. Overall very flexible with care on my days off. Thanks for looking! I currently work full-time 3 days a week, 12 hr shifts. Aside from that I’m free weekends to care for your babies while you take a vacation or a quick break! My pets are always supervised as they tend to be velcro babies. I take my pets out on a schedule as well as have a feeding schedule twice a day. Trips to the dog park are an option so long as safety is kept in mind, I tend to go when the park is less busy to avoid any potential fights. Pets are allowed on furniture and beds as they are family.
About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Farmington
Emma was wonderful. From the moment we met I knew our kitties were in good hands. She truly loves cats and understands their quirky personalities. She took care of everything I asked her to do, including a few “gifts” the kitties left her. I got updates on them and pictures as well. She was very attentive to their needs. It was clear from the pictures they loved their time with her. I highly recommend her and will user her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
