About: Ever since I was little, my family has had many pets and cats either in the house, or at the neighbors/friends' homes, that I have always been drawn to. I am very caring, loving of Animals and everything! We always were helping with socializing, playing with them and bonding with them. since after about high school on, I have helped with pet cats in my family and at my friends' houses with Pet sitting, then since 1993, having my own cats with my husband. I have also helped with our no kill rescue shelter on the cat end for about 7 years, and also with a good friend who was one of our Foster Mamma's to one of our cats. About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. “This was Zildjian’s first Rover experience and it couldn't have gone better. Leanna was great and allowed me the opportunity to test put how he would do with a shorter than usual stay (4 hours). She was very accommodating and communicative. I could tell he liked her even though he starts out meeting new people a little in a vocal manner. He trotted right along side her into the house and the photos I saw of him playing with the other dogs showed me that he enjoyed his time. “I am new to the area, and Chelsie was very close by. She responded promptly and communicated clearly. I brought Riley over, and Chelsie kindly met me at the car. I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

I work full-time Thursday-Sunday so I have full availability to watch your pets on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday without distractions! Walks, drop-ins, and meet and greet availability would be anytime Monday-Wednesday or after 6pm on my work days. I will follow your instructions, set alarms for potty breaks and walks, and be available to send photo and text updates. During house sitting, I will let you know about my drop-in visit schedule. Your pet will never be alone without notice.
