About: Ever since I was little, my family has had many pets and cats either in the house, or at the neighbors/friends' homes, that I have always been drawn to. I am very caring, loving of Animals and everything! We always were helping with socializing, playing with them and bonding with them. since after about high school on, I have helped with pet cats in my family and at my friends' houses with Pet sitting, then since 1993, having my own cats with my husband. I have also helped with our no kill rescue shelter on the cat end for about 7 years, and also with a good friend who was one of our Foster Mamma's to one of our cats. I would help here with her litters of cats and pregnant momma cats out of her home to do vet runs with them, helping to socialize them, doing pet therapy, doing fundraisers, etc. We also have caught strays from our own home and got them into the systems to get them off of the streets, vetted and adopted. About: My family and I have always had pets and we love them dearly! Pets bring such joy into a home and we would love for your pet to join our family for a visit. I work from home and my husband is home multiple days per week so there is always someone to play and cuddle your pets! Because I'm home for most of the day, I'm able to offer extended, low-stress visits or overnight stays where your dog stays in their own space, keeps their normal environment, and doesn't have to adjust to unfamiliar dogs or a new house. No boarding facility, no other pets, just your dog in their own home, on their own schedule. I check in regularly, I'm responsive to messages throughout the stay, and I send photo/video updates so you're never left wondering how things are going. Whether it's a quick walk, a few daily visits, or a longer overnight stay, my goal is to keep your dog's routine as close to normal as possible: same walks, same meals, same schedule, so the biggest thing that changes while you're away is who's holding the leash. Pet care is my full-time focus right now, so it's built into the rhythm of my whole day rather than squeezed in around something else. Mornings typically start with a walk, then check-ins or visits throughout the day depending on what each dog's routine calls for, feeding times, medication, playtime, whatever they're used to. Since I'm home most of the day, I have the flexibility to be consistent and responsive rather than working around a 9-to-5. For drop-ins and walks, I follow your instructions closely: feeding times, walk routes, medication, anything specific to your dog's needs or quirks. For house sitting and overnight stays, I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, keeping doors locked, sticking to your dog's normal schedule, and making sure they have consistent company rather than long stretches alone. I check in regularly and send photo or video updates so you always know how things are going, and if anything unexpected comes up, I contact you right away rather than guessing. I'm also comfortable with dogs that have behavioral issues or anxiety, from my time fostering and volunteering at shelters, so I pay attention to body language and adjust rather than push a dog past what they're comfortable with.
