About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. My experience caring for pets began when I was a toddler and has continued throughout every stage of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals and have built lasting relationships with many happy clients who trust me with their beloved pets time and time again. One of the first things people notice about me when animals are around is just how much I genuinely love and adore them. Whether it’s stopping to say hello to a dog on a walk, earning the trust of a shy cat, or spending extra time making sure a pet feels comfortable and loved, caring for animals is something that comes naturally to me. My home is filled with furry family members, giving me hands-on experience with pets of all personalities, ages, and needs. I have my own dog and currently live with two dogs and five cats, so I understand the daily commitment, patience, and attention that excellent pet care requires. From energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and playtime to independent cats who appreciate a calm and caring presence, I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique personality and routine. What sets me apart from other sitters is that I don’t see pet care as just a job—it’s something I truly enjoy. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone who will treat them like family, not just another appointment on a schedule. I take the time to learn their routines, understand their quirks, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is not only to give pet owners peace of mind, but to make sure their pets are happy, relaxed, and excited to see me again. When your pet is in my care, they receive the same level of attention, affection, and dedication that I give my own. Pet sitting is a part-time job for me, which allows me to maintain a fairly flexible schedule and dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. I do my best to accommodate each pet owner’s needs and can often work with a variety of schedules, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays when available. Because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, I make it a priority to provide dependable care, timely communication, and plenty of attention for every pet. Safety is always my top priority when caring for pets in a client’s home. Before walks, I make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes fit properly and are securely fastened. I’m careful when entering and leaving the home to ensure doors are closed so pets can’t accidentally escape. If pets have access to a fenced yard, I always check that gates are closed and the area is secure before letting them outside. During walks, I stay aware of our surroundings and do not allow dogs to approach unfamiliar dogs, helping avoid unnecessary stress or potential conflicts. Along with keeping pets safe, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and consistency with their normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. We have a large fenced (One acre) in yard and a four year old yellow lab named Earl who loves to run around. Our yard is very dog friendly!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs of every kind since I was 14 years old. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to check in on their pets. Yes, I watched cats as well. Don’t tell my dog! In my house our lives revolve around them. That of course doesn’t mean that they run the house, but we plan around them. My favorite sound and site are when they are eating: because to me it means they are safe and happy! I am working from home so I can be there for the dogs. Other than shopping and chores, im around. I can make my schedule flexible to accommodate 4 legged guests. I have a fenced yard so your dog can go out to sniff and do their business. I am also walking the dogs at least once a day, sometimes 2 short walks

About: I love all dog breeds. Found my passion in fostering for a rescue. Would love to have this as my job full time. We love to walk our dogs I work full time evenings. I have 3 dogs and a cat. I adopted my last foster. Husky and cat is my son’s that I’m taking care of. We walk them daily we also have a dog park near by My dogs sleep with me when I’m home alone. They are allowed on furniture. I do have kennels and kennel when they are home alone. My pets are family and I will treat your pets as family too.

About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.

About: I’m a caring person who loves dogs and grew up with a lab. I have experience with taking care of friends puppies and senior dogs. I love to play hard with them so they can sleep good for you! I can walk dogs before I go to work and, take them out immediately when I get back home. I will also make sure they are being fed at the right times. I’m happy to transport pets and have them stay at my apartment for up to a week. I will provide long walks with them on leash and follow procedures at a client’s home. Making sure that the pet is comfortable is a top priority for me.
