About: I was a veterinary technician in the U.S. Army for 12 years and 4 years in Minnesota. I have extensive experience with toy to giant breed dogs and shy/timid to aggressive personalities. I am now a full-time college student doing a career change, but I miss the daily interaction with different dogs. I love to talk to them, pet or play with them as appropriate, be a temporary pack leader, and help them feel confident and comfortable. I have two kids: a 14-year-old dachshund (blind) and a 19-year-old cat. I am proficient in administering medications for eyes, ears, skin, by mouth, and injections. I am a full-time college student taking online courses, so my availability is flexible. If your cat or dog needs someone to check in on them, take them for a bathroom break, or give them medications, I can accommodate different types of care. I can get them settled in their favorite bed or crate and learn any other routines to help them feel safe and comfortable when you aren't home.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets since I was a child (cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, and anything I could find around the farm). I’ve also house sat and pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors. I treat every animal with loving care and attention, just as I would like my fur babies to be cared for while I’m away. About: I’ve taken care of small to big dogs for almost 10 years now. I have a dealt with a handful of reactive dogs as well as plenty non reactive dogs, I was taught how to read dogs body language about 6 months ago and I’m still working on improving! I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent. Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister. In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!

About: My whole life we have owned dogs, I was raised training our own dogs and taking friends and neighbors dogs out for walks and play dates! I have taken care of lots of family or friends dogs. I have worked in the vet industry since 2022. If your pet is in need of daily medication or similar items, I am more than happy to help! My current dog, Ember, is a high energy hunting dog. I am very comfortable with any level of energy! I am currently working a full time job, my hours doing change weekly. Let me know what times you need and I can see if I can plan around it! I currently have one dog at home, Ember, and 4 chickens! Ember is a high energy hunting dog, she needs daily runs and my fiancé and I try to train with her weekly on common commands. My chickens are still fairly new to our lives, they are a bit timid but we have been working everyday to get them comfortable!

About: I have had two cats for 12 years which is where my experience has come from. This ranges from litter boxes, play time, vet visits, and working with the animal to ensure they feel safe and cared for. I had two dogs growing up, and know the bare bone basics. I’m always open to learning and I do so quickly. With all the pets I’ve had throughout my life, I know how much of a family member they are. I will do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, and the human feels at ease. My full time gig is 7am-3pm M-F. During the week services will be completed after 3pm. Weekends I have an open schedule and my times are more flexible. I believe pets are family members, and I treat them with love, respect, and care like they are my own. I care about their stress levels, if they trust me, and keeping that trust. It’s fun to watch their personalities show, but also respect their boundaries. I’m not shy with cleaning up messes, taking initiatives, and keeping lines of communication open. I love receiving pictures from pet sitters to see how happy and cared for my fur babies are and will be sure to return the favor to other pet parents.

About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: I love all dog breeds. Found my passion in fostering for a rescue. Would love to have this as my job full time. We love to walk our dogs I work full time early mornings. I have one dog and fostering one dog until she gets adopted. We walk them daily we also have a dog park near by My dogs sleep with me when I’m home alone. They are allowed on furniture. I do have kennels and kennel when they are home alone. My pets are family and I will treat your pets as family too.

“Emma was very friendly and caring for our needs and our cat Toki. The litter box was always cleaned, her food and water bowls were filled daily. What surprised me the most was that Toki is always so timid and hides, but she always came out for Emma to play! Would recommend and use her again next time we are out of town!”

About: I am a fourth-year Animal Science major at the University of Minnesota wanting to pursue vet school. I own a dog, two cats, and one horse personally. I grew up on the same 20 acres that my grandfather's small animal and equine veterinary practice resided so I am well versed in the vet-med functions. My grandma also bred Miniature Aussies when I was a kid so I am very comfortable with puppy-age alongside the energy of herding dogs. I have overnight pet sat for numerous friends and neighbors alongside just check-ins throughout the day. These animals have ranged from cows, horses, goats, chickens, and dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with numerous different personalities as I have watched a friend's boarding kennel for numerous different weekends. I usually go home every weekend so am typically just available Monday-Friday Morning as I am scheduled to work at home alongside wanting to see my own animals. I try to follow their usual routine in their own home which can range from feeding them at their usual time and going outside for walks or potty time. I also allow them to sleep in the bed with me if that is what they are used to. The least abnormal day for them is the goal.

About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. We have a large fenced (One acre) in yard and a four year old yellow lab named Earl who loves to run around. Our yard is very dog friendly!

About: Hi guys! :) I grew up caring for dogs of all breeds/ages. If you were to ask anyone who knows me, they would tell you I have an undeniable love for dogs. Because of my upbringing, caring for your fur baby when you’re away as my own comes natural! I currently live on 4 acres in the country with plenty of space for all of your fur babies! I am currently a law student and in my free time I would love to give back & help care for all the fur babies I can! I prioritize my dog Lulu over anyone and anything. We go on daily runs/walks and she is extremely pampered. Our favorite activity together is exploring and being outdoors. We also love a good car ride to DQ/Starbucks to get a pup cup!

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 9 years old and have always helped family and friends with their dogs when they went on vacation, overnights, etc. I now have 2 dogs- a 6 yr old Beagle/Dachshund mix and a 2 yr old German Shepherd. I also have 2 kids, ages 11 and 12. I treat my dogs like family, we adore them! Dogs are just better than people! I’m currently working part-time so I would be available according to that schedule. My schedule is pretty flexible and I can work from home at times. We don’t have a fence right now but we will once the snow melts and my husband can put one up. We live in Randolph, MN. I love animals, I’m always talking to mine and loving up on them- lots of cuddles and fun. We do dog puzzles, frozen enrichment bones, play fetch or my Kacey’s favorite, “chase me!”

About: I have owned both cats and dogs, and I love the care that comes with owning these selfless creatures. Whether it’s playing string with cats, or going for long walks with energetic dogs, it’s a joy to interact with each of their unique personalities. I’m a dog park regular, a cat favorite and have experience with dogs from training puppies to working with elderly dogs. My schedule is, at this time in my life, rather open. I’m not in school right now, and I am lucky to be able to do pet-sitting as a steady means of work at this time in my life. During the week, I typically have a few consistent dogs that I walk for, as well as a few overnight pet-sitting jobs a few times per month. I’d love for you to be one of them! Because of this, it makes it easier for me to stay with the pet for a majority of the time, if desired. If I need to leave, it’s usually just to go home and cook my husband dinner, do a few errands or to walk/check on another pet. It all depends on your pet’s needs and habits. Feeding, bathroom and attention are the basics, but besides that I can be extremely active, going for long or several walks/day and lots of playing with toys, to more relaxed, following your animal’s needs. Hanging out with pets is as much for me as it is for the owner I’m working for and their pet. I find lots of fulfillment through spending time with animals, whether it’s my own or Rover clients. I have met many families on here that were strangers at first that eventually became a consistent friend/client.
