Pet Sitting Cannon Falls

About: I was a veterinary technician in the U.S. Army for 12 years and 4 years in Minnesota. I have extensive experience with toy to giant breed dogs and shy/timid to aggressive personalities. I am now a full-time college student doing a career change, but I miss the daily interaction with different dogs. I love to talk to them, pet or play with them as appropriate, be a temporary pack leader, and help them feel confident and comfortable. I have two kids: a 14-year-old dachshund (blind) and a 19-year-old cat. I am proficient in administering medications for eyes, ears, skin, by mouth, and injections. I am a full-time college student taking online courses, so my availability is flexible. If your cat or dog needs someone to check in on them, take them for a bathroom break, or give them medications, I can accommodate different types of care. I can get them settled in their favorite bed or crate and learn any other routines to help them feel safe and comfortable when you aren't home.

About: I’m a caring person who loves dogs and grew up with a lab. I have experience with taking care of friends puppies and senior dogs. I love to play hard with them so they can sleep good for you! I can walk dogs before I go to work and, take them out immediately when I get back home. I will also make sure they are being fed at the right times. I’m happy to transport pets and have them stay at my apartment for up to a week. I will provide long walks with them on leash and follow procedures at a client’s home. Making sure that the pet is comfortable is a top priority for me.

About: I am a retired Certified Veterinary Technician. I have 30 years of caring for my own furry family members. I am trusted by friends and neighbors to enter their homes and care for their beloved pets. I have a spacious home and fenced in yard. I can care for those with special needs. I am a newly single mother looking for income doing what comes naturally. I am a care giver by nature. My schedule is open. I am available for your needs. I have a senior dog that suffers from separation anxiety. He has always been by my side. He is gentle and gets along with all other animals. I have 3 rescued cats, one of which has special dietary needs. I am well trusted by my friends and neighbors to care for their furry family members while they are away at appointments or a 2 week long vacation. I am trusted to enter their homes, as well as have their pets in my home.

About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: My whole life we have owned dogs, I was raised training our own dogs and taking friends and neighbors dogs out for walks and play dates! I have taken care of lots of family or friends dogs. I have worked in the vet industry since 2022. If your pet is in need of daily medication or similar items, I am more than happy to help! My current dog, Ember, is a high energy hunting dog. I am very comfortable with any level of energy! I am currently working a full time job, my hours doing change weekly. Let me know what times you need and I can see if I can plan around it! I currently have one dog at home, Ember, and 4 chickens! Ember is a high energy hunting dog, she needs daily runs and my fiancé and I try to train with her weekly on common commands. My chickens are still fairly new to our lives, they are a bit timid but we have been working everyday to get them comfortable!

About: I have had two cats for 12 years which is where my experience has come from. This ranges from litter boxes, play time, vet visits, and working with the animal to ensure they feel safe and cared for. I had two dogs growing up, and know the bare bone basics. I’m always open to learning and I do so quickly. With all the pets I’ve had throughout my life, I know how much of a family member they are. I will do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, and the human feels at ease. My full time gig is 7am-3pm M-F. During the week services will be completed after 3pm. Weekends I have an open schedule and my times are more flexible. I believe pets are family members, and I treat them with love, respect, and care like they are my own. I care about their stress levels, if they trust me, and keeping that trust. It’s fun to watch their personalities show, but also respect their boundaries. I’m not shy with cleaning up messes, taking initiatives, and keeping lines of communication open. I love receiving pictures from pet sitters to see how happy and cared for my fur babies are and will be sure to return the favor to other pet parents.

About: I love all dog breeds. Found my passion in fostering for a rescue. Would love to have this as my job full time. We love to walk our dogs I work full time evenings. I have 3 dogs and a cat. I adopted my last foster. Husky and cat is my son’s that I’m taking care of. We walk them daily we also have a dog park near by My dogs sleep with me when I’m home alone. They are allowed on furniture. I do have kennels and kennel when they are home alone. My pets are family and I will treat your pets as family too.

About: I am a fourth-year Animal Science major at the University of Minnesota wanting to pursue vet school. I own a dog, two cats, and one horse personally. I grew up on the same 20 acres that my grandfather's small animal and equine veterinary practice resided so I am well versed in the vet-med functions. My grandma also bred Miniature Aussies when I was a kid so I am very comfortable with puppy-age alongside the energy of herding dogs. I have overnight pet sat for numerous friends and neighbors alongside just check-ins throughout the day. These animals have ranged from cows, horses, goats, chickens, and dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with numerous different personalities as I have watched a friend's boarding kennel for numerous different weekends. I usually go home every weekend so am typically just available Monday-Friday Morning as I am scheduled to work at home alongside wanting to see my own animals. I try to follow their usual routine in their own home which can range from feeding them at their usual time and going outside for walks or potty time. I also allow them to sleep in the bed with me if that is what they are used to. The least abnormal day for them is the goal.

About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. We have a large fenced (One acre) in yard and a four year old yellow lab named Earl who loves to run around. Our yard is very dog friendly!

I’ve grown up with huskies and understand their energy, intelligence, and big personalities. I had a husky growing up, and now I rescued one of my own — so I’m very used to daily walks, playtime, structure, and staying active. I’m also a foster mom, which has given me experience with dogs of different temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. Caring for foster dogs has taught me patience, adaptability, and how important it is to make every dog feel safe and comfortable. Over the years, I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs — from small Yorkie/Shih Tzus to big Labs. I’m comfortable with different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have experience administering medications, including oral medications, eye drops, ear drops, and other basic care needs. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in capable and attentive hands. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. 🐾 Pet care fits easily into my routine! I currently work in the service industry, which gives me a fairly flexible schedule. My usual days off are Wednesdays and Thursdays, which allows for extended availability those days. On most other days, I’m available for morning walks and check-ins if you reach out in advance. Since I already have an active routine with my own dog, adding walks and care for your pup fits in perfectly. I’m happy to communicate and coordinate to find times that work best for both of us! 🐾 I treat every pet like they’re part of my family, with care, respect, and plenty of love. My husky has gone through several training courses, so I’m used to teaching commands, helping with training, and teaching new tricks when needed. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. About: I have always had dogs in my life. From a black lab hunting dog, to an elderly chihuahua, and a puppy Siberian husky! I currently have two cats (mama & kitty) that I rescued from a foster home. Pets are the best!! I’m a retired US Air Force officer, so I have a lot of flexibility. I enjoy walking and taking my grand-dogs to the dog park. I’m home a lot because I’m retired from the military, so I have a ton of flexibility. So, I can spend a lot of time with your pet.

About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.
