I was a veterinary technician in the U.S. Army for 12 years and 4 years in Minnesota. I have extensive experience with toy to giant breed dogs and shy/timid to aggressive personalities. I am now a full-time college student doing a career change, but I miss the daily interaction with different dogs. I love to talk to them, pet or play with them as appropriate, be a temporary pack leader, and help them feel confident and comfortable. I have two kids: a 14-year-old dachshund (blind) and a 19-year-old cat. I am proficient in administering medications for eyes, ears, skin, by mouth, and injections.

I am a full-time college student taking online courses, so my availability is flexible. If your cat or dog needs someone to check in on them, take them for a bathroom break, or give them medications, I can accommodate different types of care.

I would like you to be honest and upfront with how your dog reacts to strangers and what things your dog likes or does not like. Also, if certain situations scare him/her (i.e. lightning/thunder). I do not have a breed preference. I cared for almost every breed while working in veterinary clinics.
