🐾 Loving, Experienced Care You Can Trust Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love. I have a deep passion for making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved—especially when their families are away. Before becoming a mom, I earned my Veterinary Technician degree and worked in veterinary clinics, gaining hands-on experience with animals of all ages and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, providing basic first aid, monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health, and caring for animals who may need a little extra attention. I also have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including my own 20-year-old Chihuahua. I understand that older pets often require patience, gentle care, and a little extra monitoring, and I’m happy to accommodate their individual routines and needs. I recently became a mom and am currently home with my baby, which gives me the wonderful opportunity to return to something I’ve always loved—caring for animals. I truly believe I was meant to nurture and care for animals, and I treat every pet who stays with me like they are part of my own family. 🐶 A Home Away From Home I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet behind. My goal is to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Your dog will receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, exercise, and cuddles throughout their stay. We take daily walks and make sure each dog gets plenty of interaction and attention while also respecting their need for downtime and rest. I’m happy to send regular photos and updates so you can see how your pup is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is extremely important to me. My personal dogs have their own separate area of the basement, so they remain completely separated from boarding pets. This allows me to provide a calm, controlled environment and carefully manage introductions and interactions. 🎓 Veterinary Experience + Training My veterinary background gives me an extra level of knowledge and confidence when caring for your pet. I’m comfortable following medication instructions and keeping a close eye on your pet’s overall well-being during their stay. One of my favorite things to do is work with and train dogs. I’ve put a lot of time into training my own dogs, and I’m often complimented on how well-behaved they are. If your dog is struggling with basic manners, training, or certain behavioral challenges, I’d be happy to help reinforce positive behaviors during their stay. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their personality, routine, comfort level, and individual needs. When your pup stays with me, they’re not just another boarding dog—they’re family. My goal is for you to leave feeling confident that your pet is safe, happy, loved, and receiving the same kind of care I would want for my own animals. 🐾❤️

10 STARS !!!!!! Our sitter canceled at the last minute and Katelynn was able to take all three dogs. We were leaving for a 10 day cruise trip and so appreciate her taking them in. These boys received absolutely THE best care. WE could tell through the pics and video we received. Katelynn was thorough, confident, loving and definitely trustworthy. We could not be happier! Oscar, Rain, and Jasper had a great time with Katelynn, I could tell! Do yourself a favor and book your pups in a beautiful home with lots of doggie love! Thanks again to Katelynn and her husband for making our vacation a relaxing one!
I cannot say enough great things about Katelynn. She is simply amazing with animals and provides great care! Her love for animals is admirable! Her patience while training is outstanding. Her own dogs are so well behave and at just 1 1/2 years old does not need to be leashed, even in a crowed flea market or on walking paths passing other barking dogs. I would highly recommend having Katelynn take care of your pet, she will love them like her own.

Schedule
I finished schooling to become a Vet Technician and than became pregnant. So currently I am at home with my 9 month old. I am eager to get back to caring for animals but also would like to spend time taking care of my daughter as well!

Before your pet’s stay, I ask you to provide detailed information about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, allergies, medical history, behavioral tendencies, and comfort preferences. I also like to know how your pet interacts with children, other dogs, and new environments, as well as any triggers, fears, or special instructions that will help them feel safe and comfortable.

A typical day
I typically wake up early with my 9-month-old, giving me a great start to the day. In the mornings, my husband helps care for our own dogs so I can focus my attention on the pets staying with us. I like to start the day with a walk, followed by taking care of my daughter and spending 30 minutes to an hour working on training with my own dogs. Throughout the day, I make sure the pets in my care receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and downtime. When my husband gets home, we usually cook dinner and take care of all of our animals together. Depending on the day, we may go on another walk, play outside, or spend some time throwing the ball before settling everyone in for the night. While your pets are staying with us, my husband will take care of our own dogs so that I can keep my primary focus on your pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved throughout their stay. 🐾
