“Shelby is fantastic! Professional, talented, always on in touch via text with photos. Cat Cuddles and I really enjoyed working with Shelby and getting to know her and working with her, she is the best!”

“Amy is wonderful! She took wonderful care of my Velcro pitbull, Obi. I came home to a clean house and happy pup! She also communicates well and gave me great updates during my trip. I would 100% recommend her and plan to book her again soon! Thank you, Amy!”

“We have had Nancy watch our dogs on and off for about a year. She comes and stays at our home, takes care of our two big dogs with tender, loving care. She treats our home with loving care as well as our dogs. I highly recommend Nancy for your pet sitting needs.”

About: I've taken care of dogs pretty regularly, from chihuahuas to great danes. I work well with senior dogs just as well as energetic young dogs :) I'm an online graduate student with an internship in Vancouver, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I'm almost always open on weekends as well. Whatever fits you needs. I have a fenced in yard at home, and food is usually separated from my other pets' food and typical routines to limit interaction. At a clients home, I work hard to keep the home pristine and keep an eye on your pets wherever they go.
“Veronica was great! We hired her to watch our dogs while we attended a concern. Our dogs took a liking to her right away and she sent us updates when we were at the concert. Thank you Veronica!”

“Frances took care of my girls 🐕🐈⬛ and my home for 2 days/nights while I was away and she was amazing. Our approximity from each other, and work situations made her the perfect fit for me and my pets. I will definitely be hiring her regularly. Frances kept me updated and informed with texts and pictures and followed all of my wishes and the girls’ needs. She went above and beyond. Thank you so much Frances!”

“Extremely appreciative and pleased with Ingrid's house sitting! She promptly responded to all messages, provided reassuring check-ins, and carefully looked after our neurotic (reactive) Mini Aussie.”

“Krystal is absolutely amazing! We have a very fragile diabetic pup, that we adore! Because of her insulin needs and blood sugar checks, as well as also having addisons disease (which complicates her blood sugars even more), we haven’t gone on a family vacation since her diagnosis three years ago. She is an amazing dog, but complicated to care for. So, when our family was planning to leave town, we found Krystal on Rover. After seeing her past work history and her comfort with administering injections, we decided to meet her and see how it went. She stopped by and talked with us and met the pups. She took detailed notes about their needs and medications and we knew within minutes Krystal was the perfect person to watch them. Before leaving on vacation, Krystal came over again and re-met the pups, she completed the medications, blood sugar, insulin and feeding routine while we were there to answer any questions she may have. That gave us even more confidence with leaving. Krystal completed the medication routine with ease and the fact that she cares enough to run through the routine with the owners before they leave speaks volumes to the quality of care she provides. When we were on vacation, we kept in touch about my pups blood sugars and insulin needs, she sent daily photos of our crew and when we got home, our house was perfect and our dogs looked amazing. We also have a naughty cat and Krystal was fabulous with her too! I recommend Krystal to anyone that is looking for someone to watch their animals while they’re away. She provides exceptional care and you can tell Krystal cares for them like they’re her own. Also, I personally know how hard it is to leave your animal when they are medically fragile, but Krystal is 100% competent to care for animals with challenging needs!”

“Lyla did an incredible job! She gave me updates and was flexible with my crazy schedule. Overall she brought a lot of peace while I was out of town. Just knowing that my dog was so well taken care of. Thank you Lyla!”

“Shelby did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, house, and plants. Minka has some chronic health issues that get worse when we travel. We booked Shelby for overnight stays and Minka did really well. Shelby was great at communication, managed all of the medications, was respectful of our house and requests. She kept our plants in good condition despite an unexpected heat wave. She left the house very clean and we’d be happy to book her again.”

“Kelsey was fantastic with my Great Dane puppy. She was patient with my pup's crazy puppy energy and sent lots of photos during the stay. Would absolutely book with Kelsey in the future :)”

“Kelly did great watching my boys for me! Very communicative, and sent me plenty of pictures while I was away. I would definitely recommend her to watch your fur babies for you, and I will 100% be reaching out to her if I need help again in the future!”

“Peter really helped us out in a pinch! We were going out of town and Momo wasn’t able to go to her usual daycare, so Peter stayed with her in our home. This was her first experience staying at home without us and she was definitely anxious and skittish the first day. But Peter was very sweet and patient with her. He took things slowly in order to get Momo comfortable with him. He sent lots of updates and pictures, which really put us at ease. He took her on daily walks, played with her, made sure she took her medication, and took such good care of her. Momo was in great hands and we can’t recommend Peter enough!”

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
“Thank you so much for the care for our senior cats, our chickens, rabbits, and home. Our home was so well cared for and clean, and thanks again for the delicious treat you left us! I would definitely recommend Felicia to anyone looking for a pet/house sitter.”

I can easily follow any instructions or steps needed for their pets as well as make sure they have a good time with a companion.
