I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”

About: I've grown up around all different kinds of animals my whole life. From birds and geckos to dogs and cats, I've always been fascinated by all their different personalities and unique biological aspects. The past year I've began dog-sitting on and off and I've always made sure to take care of all their needs no matter how specific or general. I strive to stick to routines and schedules to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I love to snuggle and they’re always welcome in the bed or on the couch. That is if you allow! I also respect crate training and can stick to strict schedules if needed (Note: Rover has me add my personal animals to my profile. This does not mean that they would ever come with me to a stay or drop-in visit/walk. It’s is just for you to get to know me more) Cancellations happen, if you let me know within reason I am happy to work with you. Though, I do present with a cancellation fee due to being burned in the past with long term reservations cancelled within 24 hours. I am happy to work with you if you communicate. I recently started working from home (11/2024). I am very flexible with all sorts of availability now. Not many restrictions. I live in the heart of Ridgefield. I am able to travel as far as La Center, Salmon Creek or Vancouver. Woodland inquiries are encouraged, although depending on distance, I may not service your address. (Please don’t hesitate to ask questions) I find that your pets are more comfortable at your home but am willing to bring them to mine. Drop in visits seem to be the most comfortable as it can even be strange for them having someone new stay in their home

“Left my pups (and houseplants) with Jenny while I was gone on vacation over the Christmas holidays. She was great, and the pups were pooped when I brought them home! I happened to have a vet appointment for Max that I'd scheduled a couple of days after my vacation. Both dogs had lost a few pounds, yeah! And Max's back right knee was doing very well, no swelling, heat or favoring. Jenny and her family did a great job with keeping an eye on him and keeping him from overdoing it. They were also very understanding when I managed to screw up my pickup date. I'd inadvertently written down my return flight on the day before it was actually scheduled, so I'd scheduled their pickup time for the next day, just about at the time when my flight was supposed to depart. And of course, the flight was delayed about two and a half hours. Luckily, I was able to pick them up about 5 hours after the designated pickup time. I will definitely be looking to her for boarding again in the future!”
