“Hailey and her family were so friendly, kind, and easy to work with. We met ahead of time to make sure it was a good fit, and Hailey was so thorough and asked great questions, which gave me a lot of confidence in leaving Willow with them. Willow had the best time while we were away. We will definitely book with Hailey again the next time we need a sitter.”

“I was very pleased with Fin who kept me updated about Blackjack. He had a couple of issues that concerned Fin regarding his digestive system. I reassured her that sometimes he does have challenges. He was fine the first seven days so likely stressed with the number of days he was at Fin’s home. Fin sent a number of photos that showed Blackjack was totally enjoying himself! I highly recommend Fin as a Dogsitter. Her backyard is a great place for dogs to hang out as is her home. I was impressed by the fact that she walked the dogs twice a day and also only takes one dog at a time.! Fin works from home so Blackjack got constant attention!”

“Eric & Emily are amazing with Sadie. This was a quick overnight trip and they were so accommodating. We're hoping they'll always be available for Sadie whenever we need to go out of town. I can't imagine a better family watching out for our Sadie.”

“Tony was amazing! I received many updates and pictures throughout the days I was gone. Tons of stimulation and cuddles for our pups. I would definitely have them stay over with Tony again.”

“Melissa gave us updates on Echo and sent photos/videos throughout his stay which put us at ease with any worries we had. He came home happy and healthy. We will definitely rebook with Melissa when we go out of town!”

“Angela gave good and kind care to our three cats for six days. We really appreciated her being available to us on pretty short notice and keeping us updated on the kitties! She’s a kind person and communicated well with us!”

“Debbie was a fantastic sitter! I will definitely reach out again. She made me feel confident and safe with leaving my boy in her hands. She was consistent with contact and it was very evident Finn enjoyed his time with her and Sammy! Highly recommend.”

“This is the second time our pup has stayed with Amy and her family and it was just as good as the first time! We love the updates and the pictures she sends. Amy is so kind and empathetic, we are so thankful for the thoughtful care she provides our pup!”

“Moira is absolutely amazing—my dog Teddy compeltely ADORED her! She has a natural gift with dogs and made my anxious pup feel totally at ease (which is no small feat). She’s also a CHAMPION communicator, sending quick replies and the cutest updates that kept me smiling. Bonus: she’s not only affordable, but super flexible too, which made everything so easy. I swear my dog didn’t want to come back home… and honestly, I don’t blame him! Highly recommend 🐾✨”

“Jennifer took such great care of our puppy and had amazing communication! She sent photos and videos to update us and kept us informed throughout the day of how she was doing. It really gave us such peace of mind. We would love to book with her again in the future!”

“Dana and Mark were great! Lots of great communication (with cute puppy pics) and clear expectation setting beforehand. Their home is PUPPY HEAVEN, and I was so glad that Tate had an opportunity to play and romp with their three pups while he was in their care. Thank you, Dana and Mark!”

“The people in this home made Mabel feel welcomed and loved. How do I know? All of the pictures and updates Christine sent me! I was able to work out of town without worrying about my girl, Mabes. My work can be stressful, and not having to worry about Mabel means so much to me. I will definitely want Mabel to go back to Christine's home!”

“We had such a great experience with Brandi watching our lab. She made Nellie(our lab) feel right at home and with great care. She sent pictures every day and let us know how she was doing, I can’t recommend her enough. Definitely will be going back to her next time!”

“Bonnie is super hospitable and accommodating . She cared for our dog who showed up at her home with a little injury and she took care of her really well. Bonnie also was attentive to Zuzu missing us.”

“My dog always has a great time with Jared! quick to communicate and has been very helpful whenever I have had travel issues or flight delays. They are my go to whenever I have to leave town for work.”

“This is Daisy's fourth or fifth stay with Paul and Arnel - every time she is spoiled & treated as one of their own! It is such a comfort to know how loved on she is when she visits them.”

“Brianna was incredible and Edwin had a blast. We were initially a little worried because of her fairly large (although playful and VERY friendly dogs), but our tiny senior settled right in like it was home.”

“Sandra is the absolute best! We were so nervous about leaving our senior little terrier for the first time ever with a non family member. We could not be happier and recommend Sandra enough! She made our wedding weekend feel far more relaxed just by knowing Minnie was going to be safe, loved, and taken care of. The constant updates and photos were absolutely perfect!”

“Araceli & her husband were amazing!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They took care of our Sullivan for 2 weeks while we were on our honeymoon, and their updates, messages, and pictures reflected their commitment to ensuring that our baby felt safe and comfortable. When Sully had a bit of an allergy flareup on his nose, they were quick to notify me and give him some ointment. It truly seemed that they cared for our pup as they would their own. I HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for a sitter. 💜 They are truly lovely!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ridgefield
Chris watched our dogs while we went on a family vacation. He was so good with them. Our dog Zoey is generally afraid of men but she and Chris immediately hit it off; total dog whisperer. :) Chris took the dogs on walks every day and sent us lots of pics and videos. It definitely put our minds at ease knowing our dogs were in such great hands. We would highly recommend using Chris!

Hailey was absolutely fantastic! We’ve used her before, and she has always been wonderful, but this time she went above and beyond. Two days before our vacation, we unfortunately found out that our dog has cancer. Hailey was incredibly caring and understanding and worked with us to make sure we had the best possible plan for caring for him while we were away. She asked all the right questions, made sure she had every detail she needed, and was very direct about what situations would warrant contacting us or the vet. Thankfully, he did great while we were gone! He absolutely loved spending time with Hailey and her puppy, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. We can’t recommend Hailey and her family enough. They are wonderful, compassionate, responsible, and truly treat your pets like family.

Andrea is AMAZING!!! This was our first time leaving Bella, so we were a bit nervous. Andrea is so sweet, Bella was drawn to her as soon as we walked in the door. Andrea was great at sending us pictures & even a little video, which help put our minds at ease. Bella had a great time with Andrea and her family. We would be happy to have Bella stay again in the future.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
