I also have all my weekends available to puppy sit. I live in an apartment but there are plenty of walking trails and parks nearby. I also have plenty of time off and no weekend commitments so I can stay at your home so the pups are more comfortable.

“Our dog was only 3 weeks into our home as a 2-year old rescue and the care and attention Erin gave her was above and beyond. I felt completely comfortable knowing both our new dog Athena and our Maine Coon mutt Party Champ were is loving hands. Bonus upon bonus: the house was immaculate!!”

“Savannah was such a huge help staying at our place with our dogs while we were away! The dogs loved her and you could tell by how they react to her when she comes by. Will definitely book again!”

“Sparkle house sat for our 2 1/2 year old dog & 12 year old cat, for a weekend. Sparkle was excellent in letting us know when they had arrived & when they had left the house. They were very diligent & patient getting to know our dog. And he clearly adores Sparkle. Our standoffish cat also warmed to Sparkle. Excellent care to our fur babies. Plenty of photos. Sparkle was very tidy & I very much appreciate their effort. They have strong communication skills. And the neighbors were delighted to meet them. We are hoping for many more visits.”

“Maria was amazing. I have never felt so much at ease leaving our boys with anyone before. She sent the cutest videos and photos of them together. They seemed very happy and bonded with her. Not only was she wonderful and caring with our dogs, but she's also a wonderful human. She was great to communicate with and left our home so clean and well cared for. We will definitely book another stay, knowing how loved and cared for our little guys were with her. “Peter is Fantastic! He was thorough in asking about my pets needs, as well as following requests and a schedule to ensure they got the right amount of exercise and care. He stayed at the house so it was comforting he was there with them the duration of the time he was caring for them. He sent detailed summaries of the day with pictures each evening. I would absolutely work with Peter again!”

“Debbie was great. She handled everything professionally, asked great questions, and even had some suggestions. Good communication leading up to and during our trip. We would use her again.”

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
“Kat is amazing, she took great care of the beasts and my home. She updates regularly without me needing to check in, which is great cuz I worry a bit but also don’t want to be a bother. One of my dogs has pretty bad separation anxiety so coming home to see both dogs calm and happy with her was fantastic! 10 outta 10, will be using again.”

“Karl is the absolute best! He’s cared for our two dogs multiple times, and we always feel completely at ease leaving them with him. He’s reliable, communicative, and treats our pups like his own. They’re always so excited to see him, and we love the updates and photos he sends. Highly recommend Karl to anyone looking for a fantastic sitter!”

“I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about Marie!! We’ve used multiple sitters on Rover before, and she is in a league of her own. She went so far above and beyond—sending tons of photos and videos, keeping our home spotless, and even helping set up a water fountain and troubleshoot our cats’ picky eating habits. It’s clear she genuinely cares. Most importantly, she loved our cats like they were her own, and that meant everything to us. She was truly an angel and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had her. We will absolutely be using her again—she deserves every bit of recognition! Thank you so much Marie!!”

Warren pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shelby did great and provided pictures of our dogs daily so that we could see how they were doing. We were nervous about having a stranger in our home, and were new to having a pet sitter. We usually have had family or have done a boarding facility, but with a cranky, older dog a boarding facility was not an option when going away for a family wedding destination. Shelby was very understanding and willing to work with us so that we felt comfortable while away. I would highly recommend her. When we booked her months ago we had to estimate our arrival time back home for the Rover app, but when coming home after driving for 13 hours the time I put was the last thing I was thinking about. We pretty much arrived hours earlier than she expected and unannounced. Our home was pretty much how we left it and she was just chilling with the dogs, which she didn’t necessarily have to be doing as our contract allowed for her not to stay the night and to leave for periods of time. One concern we had is would our dogs really be looked after, or would a person say they would but then not. I can safely say Shelby was here, took care of our pets, and treated our home with care.
