About: I adopted my first dog (as an adult) 22 years ago and can’t imagine life without one. My dog has helped me through so much just by being at my side, and that was something I didn’t quite understanding while growing up with the family dogs, as much as I loved them. GOOD TO KNOW FOR NEW CLIENTS: While I’m happy to jump in and help on short notice, when available, I do require a meet and greet in a neutral location. For overnights, I have a dog at home. While she is good with most dogs, there is always a chance our dogs do not mesh. I require a meet and greet including my dog in a neutral location. I grew up with large Collies and Irish Setters, so medium to large dogs have always been a part of my life. As an adult, I’ve adopted and trained two puppies and seen one through cancer treatment. My experience covers: puppies, training, sick dogs, reactive dogs, overly energetic dogs, elderly dogs and lazy dogs. There’s very little I haven’t had direct experience handling, for better or worse. While I don’t claim to be an expert, little about a dog’s behavior or issues worries or shocks me at this point. I’m currently working part-time and looking to fill my spare time with more physical activity. What better way to accomplish that than to play with and walk dogs! I’m available mornings from 7am to 10am, evenings from 6p-9p and all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I treat your pet as I treat mine, with love and patience. If you have a routine your pup is accustomed to, I’m happy to step in and help keep that consistent.

She always keeps in touch, sending plenty of photos and videos so I know he’s happy and safe. Shea loves his time there, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend!
Milo had the best time staying with Brian. Brian worked very well with Milo's reactivity and gave me tips on how to work with Milo. They went on many walks, visited the dog park, and had lots of playtime. I appreciated how many photos and videos Brian sent while we were away. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will definitely want Milo to stay with Brian in the future.
Shane couldn't have been better with my chocolate lab. Shane played with him, took him to the beach, and clearly welcomed my pup into his home. Shane was also really sweet in offering to pick up and drop off my dog. He was also attentive to the fact that my dog had a limp and was careful not to make it worse. Shane was very communicative and sent a ton of photos and videos. I would gladly leave my dog with him again. Highly recommend!
I had a wonderful experience boarding my Luna with Litzy and Chris. Communication was very easy and clear, drop-off and pick-up were a breeze, and I got just the right amount of updates. Luna was in great hands, and it was nice that she had a couple dogs to keep her company, just like at home. Litzy and Chris’s dogs are really laid back and are good at understanding what doggie clients need when they are away from home. I look forward to boarding Luna here again when the need arises!
Ellie and her roommate, Carly, were very kind people to my pup. Usually, it’s a hard find to meet good sitters that help to accommodate for my pup’s anxiety and high energy, but they’ve been able to make her feel comfortable and happy during her stay with them. Thank you Ellie and Carly for opening up your space to make such a pleasant experience for Miya. Looking forward to hopefully connecting with you both again in the near future.
Shane & his wife were gracious, calm, & kind. We did a short meet & greet for our Covid adoptee dog. Their house was spacious with a good backyard & lawn for our 90-lb baby. Though she’s been socialized to our 2 dogs, family, friends & our in-home dogsitter, we wanted a 1-dog sitter as she’s never stayed overnight at a dogsitter’s home. Though Shane & his wife dogsit bc they’re dog lovers who don’t hv a dog, ours sadly wasn’t the most social. On the 1st day of our 3-day vacay, our dog was anxious, refusing to take even treats and avoiding contact. Shane must’ve been patient & kind as our dog warmed on the 2nd day, going on a walk with him & allowing more contact. We remained “on-call” to immediately leave to pick her up (we were 4 hrs away) but never got that call. Shane must’ve worked some magic! We very much appreciate this family’s understanding of our furry baby & their kindness. We would absolutely recommend them.
Kim has so much experience with dogs and took extra good care of my tiny little rescue while I was away for a week. I knew she was in a nice, clean, dog friendly environment, being loved and looked after. Kim works from home, so she got a lot of attention. And she sends photos and videos and updates. It was a huge relief, not being stressed while away - knowing she was being well cared for. Kim is a pro!
