About: My first dog was a Collie when I was ten and I’ve been in love with animals ever since. We’ve fostered cats and dogs for a number of years. Currently we only have our rescued dogs and cats. We do watch friends and family pets when they are away. Also, I worked for a veterinarian for about four years. My husband and I are retired. I’m looking for something that offers me routine without long term commitment. I enjoy walking, and a dog just adds to the happiness. I have a fenced yard and three dogs and two cats. My pug eats in her crate, but she lets herself out when she’s finished. I have extra beds and crates, a comfy couch for your animals to lay on. All dogs must be potty trained and under 30lbs. On active flea preventive, up to date on vaccines.

“Bill is an exceptional dog walker! He took such amazing care of my Cooper. First, he was so accommodating and flexible by walking my Cooper for 1.5 hours every day when no other dog walker offered more than 1-hour walks. Second, he sent me daily pictures of their walks, taking Cooper to parks and his favorite local spots, sending me a daily rover report card. If that wasn't enough, Bill had a procedure on his hand one day, and he still showed up for his walk with Cooper. I was okay with him skipping one day, but his response was "I'm committed to walking Cooper." I was beyond impressed, and I knew what an animal lover Bill is. Most importantly, Cooper absolutely adored him. He wouldn't even get out of bed until he arrived. Seeing their pictures together made me a little jealous, but I was so happy to see how happy he made my Cooper. Bill is a true animal lover and has a huge heart which was very important to me. I didn't want someone to just come and walk my dog. I wanted someone who would be a loving companion for Cooper, and he definitely was loved by Cooper. About: Hello all! I am a huge animal lover and have been an avid volunteer at various shelters for many years. I have been a trusted sitter for many friends and family members, and have pets of my own who are very much part of my family. I have a great deal of experience with many different breeds, some positive reinforcement training experience, and some basic first aid/troubleshooting experience. I will always treat any animal within my care as my own, and take my responsibility of being trusted with someone's family member incredibly seriously. I work from home on a varied, part-time schedule. I plan to use the late morning/early afternoon hours when I am typically free to do walks and/or check-ins and can do overnights as needed when my schedule allows. Making sure there is not "people food" easily accessible to the pet when that's a concern, being mindful of small parts they may try to eat and choke on etc. Making sure the animal has enrichment activities to make it less likely they will chew on or destroy anything they aren't supposed to. Paying attention to notes on pet profiles, making myself aware of any concerns with cats/dogs/kids/food aggression etc. Being sure to lock & double check doors before bed or when leaving the property.

About: Growing up I always had pets in my home. From big dogs, small dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, squirrel & even a tarantula! I’m a lover of all animals. I work Monday-Thursday, 9-5! If you need someone to stop by and check on your furry family member while you’re out of town for the weekend or if they need to stretch their legs on a nice long walk I’m your girl! Please message me if it is a different date/time request other than my availability, it’s possible I can accommodate if I’m not working. Unfortunately as of right now I am unable to provide in home pet service. I have two large cats that run this household and they wouldn’t be too happy to share. Cats world! We just live in it.

In February of this year I got into a horrible accident and didn’t wake up for two days, I lived alone and my dog didn’t have anyone, I woke up in the ICU and Samantha was the first one I got a hold of knowing she had a key. She showed and saved my dogs life, my keys were lost in the accident and I had no way to get home. She safely got the key to my family and Obsidian is safe and healthy with me traveling across the United States and happier then ever. I couldn’t thank her enough for being that reliable. I don’t know what I would ever do without my boy.”
