“This was Hallie’s third stay with Jessica, and it was great as usual! Our pup was well-loved and had friends to play with. The photo updates made it seem like Hallie was having the best time. Thanks again, Jessica!”

“Thank you for being so flexible and for keeping them over the holiday. My boys had a great time and are already sleeping on the couch. :) will definitely book again!”

“Merley took amazing care of our dog. She played with him, took him to the dog park, bathed and groomed him for us!! She sent numerous videos and truly cared. Couldn’t have been happier!!”

“Stevie is a gem. Our little Romie was very well taken care of. We loved the daily updates, and photos. We are not sure if we can now live up to what our Romie experienced at Stevie's house. While at Stevies our 3 months old Romie learned how to negotiate stairs. We highly recommend her.”

“Erin and her family were absolutely wonderful with our Frenchie, Roxy. Erin kept us updated with sweet photos and messages, and it was clear that Roxy felt right at home. She came home happy, relaxed and clearly cared for. We’re so grateful to have found such a kind and responsible sitter, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Erin again. Highly recommend!”

“Great first experience in here. Mya gave Amazing care and communication! Expect daily pics and updates of your puppies happy and healthy. She made sure to learn what my dogs needed and made sure they we’re adequately entertained and comfortable.”

“Chris was able to take Oliver at short notice for a trip I went on. We had a prior meet and greet so I felt comfortable with what to expect. Chris updated me on Oliver and sent pictures. Oliver looked like he had a great time with Chris and Dolly (his pup). He went straight to sleep when I brought him home!”

About: 🚨 ATTENTION: 25LB MAX WEIGHT LIMIT - For the safety of our small dog clients we exclusively accept dogs/puppies that are 25lbs or under. 🚨 If your furbaby fits into our small-dog boutique size bracket, we would absolutely love to host them for a premium, customized vacation! ✨ After years of specialized transport with Mother Nature's Express, I am bringing that same USDA-certified level of safety and care to Mother Nature’s Boarding—a dedicated sanctuary for your furbabies. Professional Pedigree & Expert Care: I am not just a pet lover; I am a career animal professional with a decade of high-stakes experience. My background as a retired USDA-certified animal transporter means I have spent years safely navigating the logistics of animal behavior and safety across the country. I’ve handled animals of all temperaments and sizes, ensuring their health and security while traveling state-to-state and staying in pet-friendly luxury environments. Your furbaby's safety is my absolute priority. I am Red Cross Animal CPR certified, and my home is run with the precision and cleanliness of a professional facility, but with the heart of a dedicated stay-at-home parent. The Boutique Environment: Because I am home 24/7, your dog receives constant companionship and expert monitoring. My specialized setup includes: A dedicated "Guest Suite" located upstairs with me, completely separate from my personal pets to ensure a zero-stress transition. Safety-First Rotations: Utilizing my professional handling skills to manage pack dynamics, ensuring every guest feels like the "only" dog in the room. Expert Medical Oversight: Comfortable and experienced in administering medications and managing strict health protocols. A Lifetime of Devotion: My life has been defined by the bond between humans and animals. While I have over 12 years of adult experience managing my own multi-pet household—including dogs and cats—my journey actually began 25 years ago when I welcomed my first cat at age four, followed by a trio of small-breed dogs just two years later. I grew up learning the unique nuances of small-breed personalities, which is why I now specialize in providing a "big-dog-free" sanctuary for your little ones. As a career animal professional, pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it's the center of it. My schedule is designed to provide 24/7 supervision and companionship for my guest dogs. Because I am home full-time, I can maintain strict, consistent schedules for feeding, potty breaks, and medications that mimic your furbaby's home environment perfectly. My week is built around 'Restful Rotations.' While my mornings and evenings are for structured care, the daytime is filled with enrichment and one-on-one attention in our dedicated upstairs boutique area. This setup allows me to give your pet the high-touch care they deserve without the chaos of a traditional kennel. I care for every guest with the same expert precision I used as a USDA-certified animal transporter. My home's layout has been designed for maximum safety: all guest dogs enjoy the entire main/upstairs floor as their private 'boutique' sanctuary, completely separate from my personal pets who reside in their own personal basement suite while guests are here. Safety is my absolute priority. I utilize: Rotation-Based Exercise: I rotate my own dogs before guests enter the fully fenced backyard, ensuring a stress-free environment. The Double-Leash Rule: For front-yard strolls, I strictly follow the USDA safety standard of two points of contact (harness and collar) to ensure your pet is 100% secure at all times. Crated Security: To prevent nighttime scuffles and ensure a restful sleep, all guests sleep in their own individual, cozy crates with fresh water and orthopedic bedding. (The same protocol follows for feeding times to ensure absolute safety while eating) Medical Peace of Mind: Being certified in Animal CPR, I am highly experienced in monitoring health and administering specialized care.

“We found a gem with Susan and her family. She requested a walk through before our first boarding, which completely put our minds at ease and made sure our two dogs were a good fit. While away, she sent regular updates and pics of our girls to let us know they were being loved on. I actually think they missed playing at Susan’s when we brought them home! We’ll definitely be boarding with Susan and her fam again in the future.”

“This was our first time boarding with Michael and Danielle. They were very easy to work with. I received photos throughout my dog’s stay. They took great care of Toby and I felt like he was safe. Michael was very honest with me when I asked about some behaviors. I really appreciated that! We usually take Toby with us when we travel, but on the occasions we do not take him, I will definitely be sending Toby to Michael and Danielle for care. Thank you so much!”

“Stephanie is the perfect person to watch our dogs. They immediately felt comfortable with her and the pics showed how happy they were during their stay. Will certainly get in touch with Stephanie the next time we need help!”

“Becky took great care of our dog Gypsy! Gypsy stayed with Becky at her home while we were on vacation and we felt very comfortable that she was well cared for. Becky is very responsive and communicates clearly and shared photos and updates. We will definitely book with her again.”

“Billie was great with Pippa while I was gone. She kept me informed and sent pictures of Pippa walking and playing. We had a great meet and greet with her a couple of days before I dropped Pippa off to stay. Billie was very open with how Pippa would be taken care of, and asked great questions to get to know Pippa and what she was used to. I will use her again.”

“Jessie was great! She treats your dogs like family and gives daily updates on how your pups are doing. It brings such comfort knowing your dogs are being taken care of and loved.”

“Brandon and Nicole were awesome hosts for my Bud Man. He enjoyed the whole week with them. Looking forward to having them watch him again this summer. Thanks!!”

“She always takes good care of our Saint. He is a husky border collie puppy so I know he can be a handful and he comes home every time exhausted!! He loves it over there and I couldn't ask for more.”

“Our doggies had a great stay with Seth and Sumer. This was our first time using Rover and Seth and Sumer made it a great experience. I was glad not to have to leave my dogs at a kennel. They kept us updated with picture and about how the dogs were doing. They gave our dogs the care they needed, exercise, lots of fun and cuddles! Thank you so much!!”

“Daisy had a great time staying with Brittany, Max and their family. It’s obvious they love dogs and know how to welcome new pets to their home. Loved getting pics everyday too. Much thanks!”

Nay had another great stay with Naji. Naji does such a great job making sure our fur baby is well loved, taken care of and is safe especially though the 4th of July festivities. I really appreciate the vetting process Naji does to make sure all the fur babies she takes are of gets along well and will have a great stay together. Thanks as always Naji, you are the best.

This was the first time we used this app, and we were a little worried about leaving our small dog with someone we didn’t know. But the moment I saw Derrika’s smile in her photo, I knew she was the right person. Even before the drop-off, I was still a bit nervous, but as soon as Derika met us, all the stress disappeared. She welcomed us so warmly, with a huge smile and genuine happiness in her eyes. Taya went into the house with her without even looking back at us 😂 We’re extremely happy with the experience and highly recommend her ❤️

Nicole was wonderful! She provided excellent communication throughout our trip and sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was well cared for, and having fun. In fact, when he came home, he cried because he missed his new friends and the environment he had grown so attached to. We couldn’t ask for a better indication of how happy and comfortable he was in her care. Highly recommend!

Hammy did great in Erin’s care! Erin was attentive to his needs and comforted him when he got anxious. She provided regular updates and photos, allowing me to focus on work instead of worrying about Hammy! Hammy was able to make a new furry friend who coincidentally looked like he could be his brother 😂 and also socialize with other friendly neighborhood folks. Erin was flexible with my last minute booking, offering quick responses, and accommodated a necessary shift in pick-up/drop off time based upon my travel itinerary. I definitely recommend Erin and will seek to book with her again during future work trips!

Connie was amazing for us. This was our first ti e using Rover and first time leaving our girl Gracie with anyone. Connie reassured us and sent multiple photos and updates during the stay. We will use Connie again and have no concerns with recommending her for your pet. Thank you Connie!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
