“Tory did a FABULOUS job with my pup George. It was his first sleepover and I could tell that Tory made him feel at home quickly by the frequent photos and updates she sent. He enjoyed hanging out with Tory's two pups, Khaleesi & Hazel, and was pleasantly worn out when I got him home. I will definitely book with Tory again the next time George needs a place to land when I have to travel.”

“Carly took excellent care of Titus and we appreciate her attention to detail and communication. Titus can be difficult for some sitters being a big dog with quirks so we are grateful to find a sitter who is able to provide quality care. Will definitely book her again!”

“Stephen and his family were great with our dog (and family member) Rainey. So much better to have a loving family take care of her than boarding her. I highly recommend them. Scott”

“Very pleased with Billie, she and Chief got along fine. She updated me with pictures on a regular basis. She understood when my trip was shortened by the wildfires in Canada.”

“This couple is amazing with our furry family! We have two corgis full of “personality”. Excellent communicators. With John and Rachel as an option for care of our four legged family, I’ll never use a traditional boarding facility again.”

“Had troubles with travels, dogs going into heat, and anything else that could of happened. MacKenzie always spoils my pops and take away all my stress 💛”
“Brandon and Nicole were awesome hosts for my Bud Man. He enjoyed the whole week with them. Looking forward to having them watch him again this summer. Thanks!!”

“Shannon did a wonderful job with Royal. We felt so comfortable leaving him in her care. She walked him every morning and treated him like her own. We loved all the pictures and updates.”

“We can’t be happier to have Luna in care of Griffin & Gloria. Luna plays all the time and they make sure I get videos updates every day to see her having fun”

“Kathleen made an instant connection with our 13 year old diabetic and nearly completely blind Brittney Spaniel. This was our first time leaving her with anyone outside of family and it was obvious from the photos that she was immediately comfortable and happy at Kathleen’s home. Would definitely use her again a d recommend her to anyone who is in need of boarding and may be a little hesitant. She has a very gentle soul that dogs resinate with.”

“Elaine was a great sitter for our two dogs. She sent pics and updates everyday. Will definitely have Elaine watch our dogs again as we felt they were in good hands with someone who truly cared about them.”

“Abigail was fantastic with our Great Dane pongo, she kept us updated and was super flexible with pickup times for me! Absolutely will be getting ahold of her again for future stays!”

“This was our first time using any boarding service. We are so glad we chose Lesli. Our pups loved playing so much that they were a bit reluctant to leave. Here I was thinking they would run back happy in tail wagging delight, but they puppy dog eyed me like “don’t take us from Lesli” She was in constant contact. Sent pics And videos which comforted my kids. Will definitely use Lesli again!!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was about five-years-old! From my own to pets of friends and family. I consider animals as important as people! I’ve also cared for my own and other’s fish, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, quail. I’m an avid hiker and love walking with dogs and even have a cat of my own that I leash trained and goes on walks with me! I’ll play with your pets, take them out for fresh air and exercise, or just hang out for awhile so they don’t think they’ve been abandoned (as some cats and dogs seem to believe)! I am a self employed and make my own schedule, often working from home. My schedule is highly flexible and can usually accommodate your needs. I love playing with animals! Can feed and give medications as needed in most situations. Scoop poop. Make sure they haven’t torn apart the plants! Etc! In my home care, pets can be walked on a regular basis. Can have their own room if needed or have access to kennel. We have a large house and plenty of room to play. Prices are flexible depending on the location, number and type of animals.

About: 🚨 ATTENTION: 25LB MAX WEIGHT LIMIT - For the safety of our small dog clients we exclusively accept dogs/puppies that are 25lbs or under. 🚨 If your furbaby fits into our small-dog boutique size bracket, we would absolutely love to host them for a premium, customized vacation! ✨ After years of specialized transport with Mother Nature's Express, I am bringing that same USDA-certified level of safety and care to Mother Nature’s Boarding—a dedicated sanctuary for your furbabies. Professional Pedigree & Expert Care: I am not just a pet lover; I am a career animal professional with a decade of high-stakes experience. My background as a retired USDA-certified animal transporter means I have spent years safely navigating the logistics of animal behavior and safety across the country. I’ve handled animals of all temperaments and sizes, ensuring their health and security while traveling state-to-state and staying in pet-friendly luxury environments. Your furbaby's safety is my absolute priority. I am Red Cross Animal CPR certified, and my home is run with the precision and cleanliness of a professional facility, but with the heart of a dedicated stay-at-home parent. The Boutique Environment: Because I am home 24/7, your dog receives constant companionship and expert monitoring. My specialized setup includes: A dedicated "Guest Suite" located upstairs with me, completely separate from my personal pets to ensure a zero-stress transition. Safety-First Rotations: Utilizing my professional handling skills to manage pack dynamics, ensuring every guest feels like the "only" dog in the room. Expert Medical Oversight: Comfortable and experienced in administering medications and managing strict health protocols. A Lifetime of Devotion: My life has been defined by the bond between humans and animals. While I have over 12 years of adult experience managing my own multi-pet household—including dogs and cats—my journey actually began 25 years ago when I welcomed my first cat at age four, followed by a trio of small-breed dogs just two years later. I grew up learning the unique nuances of small-breed personalities, which is why I now specialize in providing a "big-dog-free" sanctuary for your little ones. As a career animal professional, pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it's the center of it. My schedule is designed to provide 24/7 supervision and companionship for my guest dogs. Because I am home full-time, I can maintain strict, consistent schedules for feeding, potty breaks, and medications that mimic your furbaby's home environment perfectly. My week is built around 'Restful Rotations.' While my mornings and evenings are for structured care, the daytime is filled with enrichment and one-on-one attention in our dedicated upstairs boutique area. This setup allows me to give your pet the high-touch care they deserve without the chaos of a traditional kennel. I care for every guest with the same expert precision I used as a USDA-certified animal transporter. My home's layout has been designed for maximum safety: all guest dogs enjoy the entire main/upstairs floor as their private 'boutique' sanctuary, completely separate from my personal pets who reside in their own personal basement suite while guests are here. Safety is my absolute priority. I utilize: Rotation-Based Exercise: I rotate my own dogs before guests enter the fully fenced backyard, ensuring a stress-free environment. The Double-Leash Rule: For front-yard strolls, I strictly follow the USDA safety standard of two points of contact (harness and collar) to ensure your pet is 100% secure at all times. Crated Security: To prevent nighttime scuffles and ensure a restful sleep, all guests sleep in their own individual, cozy crates with fresh water and orthopedic bedding. (The same protocol follows for feeding times to ensure absolute safety while eating) Medical Peace of Mind: Being certified in Animal CPR, I am highly experienced in monitoring health and administering specialized care.

“Mayson was great with my dogs. I am so glad I found her. Olive and Nelson had so much fun with her dogs and family. They came home so happy and tired from all the playing and attention they received. I will be using her exclusively in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lees Summit
My yorkiepoo and cockapoo loved staying with Michael & Danielle! They were treated like their own. Able to lay around the house, play in their big back yard and were even taken on walks. Michael sent several pictures and updates. Boarding is so hard on my anxious yorkiepoo. It takes her days to get back to normal even after being boarded only a couple of days. She experienced none of that after coming back from Michael & Danielle’s house. She was perfectly content and happy. Will use them again!

This was our second time using Saige for boarding, and she was great as always! We loved getting pictures and videos of our dog everyday, and it always looked like he was having a great time. Saige is definitely someone you can trust to watch and love your pet while you’re out of town!!

Jadyn took wonderful care of my dog, Winnie! She was very communicative throughout the entire stay and kept me updated with frequent messages and lots of pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Winnie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Highly recommend!

First timer with Amy and it was clear in the beginning she knew what she was doing, asking all of the right questions and taking lots of great notes. She sent us pictures and videos at the frequency we wanted. It was obvious that Winnie loved her time there. We will definitely use Amy again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
