“Ashley was so accommodating of our last minute request for boarding. She took such great care of Nala and sent us pictures and updates. IShe even sent us home a baggie of Nala’s favorite treats. We will highly recommend Ashley!”

“Another great stay with Billie. My two dogs jump out of the car and run up her walkway. They obviously enjoy staying with her and her doggie. I feel very comfortable when they are in her care.”

“We feel so fortunate that we found Sharon and her husband to take care of our baby on such short notice. We boarded her at her vet's for our last trip and she came home sick with a virus. So..needless to say we were concerned about where she could go this time. Luckily I heard about Rover through a family member. Checked it out. Found Sharon. Who will love your dog and make them feel at home. Thanks again Sharon. Karma will miss you ????”

“Stephen and his family were great with our dog (and family member) Rainey. So much better to have a loving family take care of her than boarding her. I highly recommend them. Scott”

“Daisy seemed to have a great time with Mackenzie! Very well at communicating and sending photos! When I picked her up she was bathed and even had a bandana on her! Mackenzie took very well of my doggie. Will book with her again!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we couldn't be happier. We received daily updates and pictures. Our two dogs were happy and tired when we picked them up. Thank you Gloria and Griffin for making this such a positive experience for all of us. We truly appreciate the care and attention you gave Oliver and Bear.”

“Shannon was incredible!! My 20 month old Goldendoodle, Cali, had a wonderful time staying with Shannon for four nights. She did all of Cali's favorite things-playing ball, daily walks, cuddling & spending lots of time together! She has a Goldendoodle named Hunter & the two of them got along great. Shannon sent lots of wonderful pictures & it was obvious that she cared for Cali as if she were her own! We will definitely be back & HIGHLY recommend Shannon. She's awesome!”

“Katie took amazing care of our girl Maisey while we were away for 2 weeks. Each day we received great photos and videos of all her puppy hangouts, walks, and cuddles. Katie was so sweet and caring it really helped us feel comfortable away from our pup for so long. We can tell she loved all her time during her stay, especially playing with Sprout! Can’t recommend Katie enough.”

“My little guy seemed right at home with Holly! I really appreciated her sending updates and pics and being flexible with the pick up/drop off times. I’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

“Elaine gave great care and communication during our week long trip. Our dog is small and we really liked that she had no children or other pets in her house. Will def. use again!!!”

“Brenda was great!! She was very nice and caring and made Dugan feel right at home. She texted a picture soon after we dropped him off to let us know he was settling right in. She also sent us another picture the next day of him cuddled up on the couch with her pug asleep. She said she let him sleep with her in bed at night. She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times to make it convenient for us. We have found a great sitter with no worries. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring sitter that makes your pet's stay away from home comforting and stress free. 5 stars!!”
“Abby was so communicative the whole time we were gone! Our dog requires daily meds, and Abby did great! Our dog loved playing with her puppies and came back so happy! Cannot wait to use her again!”

“Jacqueline was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my fur baby, was super flexible, and was in constant communication with me about how he was doing! 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a good dog sitter!”

“My senior dog Izzy had never stayed with a sitter before and I could see Izzy was pretty apprehensive about it. Ronel could see it to so she gave Izzy extra attention and space to feel comfortable. Ronel gave me updates and sent pictures so I could see Izzy was being well cared for. I will definitely try to get Ronel to care for Izzy the next time I need a sitter!”

About: 🚨 ATTENTION: 25LB MAX WEIGHT LIMIT - For the safety of our small dog clients we exclusively accept dogs/puppies that are 25lbs or under. 🚨 If your furbaby fits into our small-dog boutique size bracket, we would absolutely love to host them for a premium, customized vacation! ✨ After years of specialized transport with Mother Nature's Express, I am bringing that same USDA-certified level of safety and care to Mother Nature’s Boarding—a dedicated sanctuary for your furbabies. Professional Pedigree & Expert Care: I am not just a pet lover; I am a career animal professional with a decade of high-stakes experience. My background as a retired USDA-certified animal transporter means I have spent years safely navigating the logistics of animal behavior and safety across the country. I’ve handled animals of all temperaments and sizes, ensuring their health and security while traveling state-to-state and staying in pet-friendly luxury environments. Your furbaby's safety is my absolute priority. I am Red Cross Animal CPR certified, and my home is run with the precision and cleanliness of a professional facility, but with the heart of a dedicated stay-at-home parent. The Boutique Environment: Because I am home 24/7, your dog receives constant companionship and expert monitoring. My specialized setup includes: A dedicated "Guest Suite" located upstairs with me, completely separate from my personal pets to ensure a zero-stress transition. Safety-First Rotations: Utilizing my professional handling skills to manage pack dynamics, ensuring every guest feels like the "only" dog in the room. Expert Medical Oversight: Comfortable and experienced in administering medications and managing strict health protocols. A Lifetime of Devotion: My life has been defined by the bond between humans and animals. While I have over 12 years of adult experience managing my own multi-pet household—including dogs and cats—my journey actually began 25 years ago when I welcomed my first cat at age four, followed by a trio of small-breed dogs just two years later. I grew up learning the unique nuances of small-breed personalities, which is why I now specialize in providing a "big-dog-free" sanctuary for your little ones. As a career animal professional, pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it's the center of it. My schedule is designed to provide 24/7 supervision and companionship for my guest dogs. Because I am home full-time, I can maintain strict, consistent schedules for feeding, potty breaks, and medications that mimic your furbaby's home environment perfectly. My week is built around 'Restful Rotations.' While my mornings and evenings are for structured care, the daytime is filled with enrichment and one-on-one attention in our dedicated upstairs boutique area. This setup allows me to give your pet the high-touch care they deserve without the chaos of a traditional kennel. I care for every guest with the same expert precision I used as a USDA-certified animal transporter. My home's layout has been designed for maximum safety: all guest dogs enjoy the entire main/upstairs floor as their private 'boutique' sanctuary, completely separate from my personal pets who reside in their own personal basement suite while guests are here. Safety is my absolute priority. I utilize: Rotation-Based Exercise: I rotate my own dogs before guests enter the fully fenced backyard, ensuring a stress-free environment. The Double-Leash Rule: For front-yard strolls, I strictly follow the USDA safety standard of two points of contact (harness and collar) to ensure your pet is 100% secure at all times. Crated Security: To prevent nighttime scuffles and ensure a restful sleep, all guests sleep in their own individual, cozy crates with fresh water and orthopedic bedding. (The same protocol follows for feeding times to ensure absolute safety while eating) Medical Peace of Mind: Being certified in Animal CPR, I am highly experienced in monitoring health and administering specialized care.

“Tasha did a wonderful job with my Milo. He’s a nervous pup with some anxiety and she did really good with helping him to feel comfortable. She sent multiple pictures throughout the day each day and loved on him.”

“Our dog Ace had an amazing stay and was clearly a happy boy in the pictures/updates we received during our stay. Ryan took great care of him and would recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“Erin is very kind and caring. My pup had not been with a sitter before and she listened to my recommendations when my Raven was scared and being reactive. She listened to my suggestions and Raven finally calmed down enough to realize Erin was a safe person. Thank you for being patient with my young girl.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lees Summit
My 21 month old golden doodle, Cali, recently stayed with Merley for almost a week and had a great stay. Merley treated Cali like she was one of the family-taking her to the dog park, providing special treats, playing and even taking her to get a pup cup at Starbucks!! She has a very well mannered 4 year old Australian Shepard named Bruno, who Cali got along well with, as I received a picture of them playing tug-a-war something she had never done with another dog before! Merley sent lots of photos throughout the week, so I knew Cali was fine. I highly recommend Merley and would 100% rebook with her!

This was our second time using Saige for boarding, and she was great as always! We loved getting pictures and videos of our dog everyday, and it always looked like he was having a great time. Saige is definitely someone you can trust to watch and love your pet while you’re out of town!!

First timer with Amy and it was clear in the beginning she knew what she was doing, asking all of the right questions and taking lots of great notes. She sent us pictures and videos at the frequency we wanted. It was obvious that Winnie loved her time there. We will definitely use Amy again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
