“Our Remi had the best time with Sylveena and her family. We received so many pictures, updates and notes throughout the days we were gone, it was so appreciated. She even kept a mindful watch over her time outside due to the intense heat we’re experiencing. It’s obvious that Sylveena loves animals and we are so happy to have found her!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old, including family pet care, professional pet care and personal pet care. I am experienced in dog walking, dog boarding, in home pet sitting and diabetic pets/sick pets. I have reliable transportation and am available at all times to give your pet the care they need! I am committed to being available at all times including weekends and evenings. Caring for animals is something I genuinely love, so it doesn’t feel like a task, it’s something I intentionally build into my schedule to make sure pets are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I care for pets as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their individual routines, personalities, and needs, whether they’re in my home or a client’s home. This includes making sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of affection and attention. I love animals, so I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, playing, going for walks, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I also keep a close eye on their behavior and health, and I follow any specific instructions the owner provides to ensure their pet feels happy and well cared for while they’re away. As a diabetic dog owner myself I am committed to giving your pet the best care I can!
“They were great with our unpotty trained puppy. They helped quite a bit and we are trying to rebook them again for another weekend trip a few weeks out. We hope to have our puppy on a better potty schedule by then and have no doubt that Daine and Ashley will keep up the routine. They are great.”
“Alaniz just watched our Buster for a week and I just can’t speak highly enough of her. Buster is an anxious guy and we have just never found a place that he felt safe until now. We are so grateful to her and her gentle care of our buddy.”

“Nicole was wonderful! She provided excellent communication throughout our trip and sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was well cared for, and having fun. In fact, when he came home, he cried because he missed his new friends and the environment he had grown so attached to. We couldn’t ask for a better indication of how happy and comfortable he was in her care. Highly recommend!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my Blue Heeler received! When I picked her up after two nights, she was calm, content, and completely at ease — no anxiety at all, which says everything about the environment she was kept in. The dog area was spacious and looked brand new, giving her plenty of room to feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Merley and her family (fur babies included) were so friendly, kind, and loving to our Leo; he wanted to stay and play :) We loved that Merley was quick to respond to messages, sent photos and a video, and that she and her family loved Leo like he was their own. We’re from out of town, but if we lived here, we would definitely be a repeat client.”

“Carly took excellent care of Titus and we appreciate her attention to detail and communication. Titus can be difficult for some sitters being a big dog with quirks so we are grateful to find a sitter who is able to provide quality care. Will definitely book her again!”

“Gail was very accommodating for my two dogs. She sent daily updates and pictures to put me at ease. My older dog Marble has anxiety and I knew she would take a few days to settle down. Gail assured me that she was doing ok. Ginger is a puppy and very high maintenance. I am glad she made friends to play with.”
“Shannon did a wonderful job with Royal. We felt so comfortable leaving him in her care. She walked him every morning and treated him like her own. We loved all the pictures and updates.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was just 7 years old. My passion is caring for others. I know how to work with dogs with emotional and behavioral issues. I know how to handle dogs even big dogs that pull on the leash. I can help keep training consistent. I run a home daycare and help care for my mom and homeschool my autistic son with time, room and love to give your doggies. I do have a dog and 2 cats of my own that don't get along so I have to switch out their living room social time and will ensure your animals has some social time as well. I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. If I have 3 dogs at once I will rotate the dogs out to make sure that one does not have to stay in a kennel too long. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away. I also have a small plastic kiddie pool I fill up for the doggies to get in and enjoy!
“Mackenzie took great care of our 14 week old Vizsla puppy while we were out of town for a week on business. I’m sure he was a handful but she cared for him with such kindness and patience. Bodhi was sad to leave!”

“Erin is the BEST!! She keeps me updated with photos, and my 1 year old golden doodle is a part of her family while she's there. She often has other dogs there too for her to play with. 100% recommend Erin.”

“Ashley was wonderful I'm always worried with my dog but he was very content when I came to pick him up. She was even very flexible when I had to adjust my time. Very professional will definitely use again.”

“Angela was absolutely wonderful! She’s very easy to work with and was willing to let me extend his stay when my flight was delayed. She has a plethora of fun friends that he could play and cuddle with. I only had to bring Ham and his food as she took care of the rest; she ate even wrestled him in his carrier so all I had to do at pick up was scoop him into the car. She’s my go to now for sure!”

“Stephen and his family were great with our dog (and family member) Rainey. So much better to have a loving family take care of her than boarding her. I highly recommend them. Scott”

“This was Roxie’s 2nd visit to Katy’s. So pleased with everything! Katy sends pictures of Roxie throughout her stay. I highly recommend Katy and Lawrence for your pet’s needs.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Grain Valley
Kathleen took great care of my Sylvie while I was on vacation. She worked with her on socialization with the other dogs, sent daily updates and pictures, and gave personalized tips for continuing to socialize, train, and keep Sylvie focused on me while in public. It seems like a great setup with a big fenced dog area. My athletic boo was well exercised

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
