“Olga has been so available and flexible to meet our varied schedule. She’s been very attentive to our pups needs and we are so glad to had her looking out for our fur baby!”

About: I have grown up always having dogs in my house. When I left for college, it only felt right to get a dog of my own. I have always been the dog sitter for my friends, and former teammates. I have experience of giving medicine and cooking up some food for our lovely pups. I am a very active person, I love long walks, but also enjoy a relaxing day with some extra pets/scratches. I have my Fridays and weekends off. I am able to board for the weekend starting Thursday night. I am typically home all day during the weekend. The maximum I am out of the house is about three hours for my workout and church. During the week I can do drop ins or walks between 6am-8:30am or 6pm and after. I live in a two-story townhome with a basement. I have a dog of my own, who is friendly. I have a long leash line in the back to allow the dogs to be outside. I also live across from the dog park. I currently live with my sister and her boyfriend as well, so somebody will usually always be home.
About: I own a dog myself and have raised her and trained her on my own since I was 14. I love being surrounded by all types of dogs and their own little personalities. I’m a college student, so with the summer starting I want to dedicate my time spending it with dogs! I enjoy taking them on walks to give both of us some exercise! I care for my own dog by prioritizing activness. She loves to go outside, with our fenched in backyard, and we play with a ball. I also love taking her for walks. But outside time isn’t always available, so I like to teach her new tricks or (gently) play with a toy inside. I think it’s also important to prioritize their health, making sure they eat and drink plenty of water.
“Kate is amazing! My mastiff hates most people but loves her…that says A LOT! She is always so good about working with my crazy schedule/changes! I really appreciate her.”

About: I have always had a passion for animal care and have been involved with Rover since 2016. In addition to my years with Rover, I have a background in veterinary care, which means you can breathe easy knowing your fur baby is in safe hands. I have two sweet cats at home, so I mainly offer house-sitting services. This allows your pets to be in a familiar place and stay on a routine. Your pet's safety, happiness, and routine are my top priorities. I love balancing fun playtime with structured care, and I will keep you connected with updates at least twice a day. My lines are always open—please feel free to reach out with any questions! My part-time job at a veterinary lab offers excellent flexibility for house sitting. I maintain a reliable routine and will never leave your pets unattended for more than 4 hours during the week. When house sitting, your home and your pets are treated with the utmost respect. I prioritize routines, house rules, and pet safety. Because of my veterinary background, I am always hyper-aware of subtle changes in a pet's behavior or health, ensuring they stay safe and happy under my watch.
“Alyson was wonderful!! She sent Rover cards with detailed notes and pictures each time she dropped in on our girls while we were on vacation. She was also very flexible when our original schedule changed. We highly recommend her!!”

“Another great dog sitting experience with Catherine! I think this is our 4th or 5th time?! I trust her so much I don’t even check the app 😆 I know Catherine has it under control!”

About: I have found passion in being kind and loving to every dog I meet. I've noticed I'm naturally great at bonding with dogs and gently helping with training. What better way to fill my cup than by spending time with animals while helping people feel confident their pets are truly cared for? I currently have a Jack Russell–Beagle mix named JT, adopted at age six, who I’ve helped adjust to stairs, car rides, and a daily routine that includes dog park visits. Before him, I shared 10 incredible years with Stewart — my soul dog — who joined me for road trips, everyday life, and miles of running together. Stewart’s presence in my life shaped not just my love for animals, but how I love them: deeply, patiently, and fully present. Thanks to him, I learned how to safely run with dogs of all sizes, and I’m happy to offer that same high-energy care for dogs who love to move fast! And before that was Hoagie, our loyal family dog of 17 years, who sparked my lifelong love for animal companionship and helped me understand what it means to share a true emotional bond with a pet. Even earlier in life, I grew up with a dog named Ubar — my childhood companion — who was lovingly cared for by my father until I was 13. Watching him gently care for Ubar left a lasting impression and taught me what it means to show patience and respect to animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors needing gentler attention. As a teacher, I bring calm energy, structure, and clear communication to every interaction. Whether your dog needs exercise, affection, or quiet companionship, I treat each pet like they’re my own. I truly understand the emotions that come with leaving your dog — because pets are family. I know they’ll miss you, and that’s why I show up as the happy, trusted visitor who brings them comfort, fun, and love in your absence. I’ll always go above and beyond to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and cared for. I’m currently off for the summer, which means I have full availability for pet care — especially daytime walks and drop-in visits. This is the perfect time for me to give your pet consistent attention, playtime, and companionship while I build a strong routine with these services. As I build my Rover presence, I’m offering discounted rates for my first few clients. Just reach out and let’s chat! As the school year begins, I’ll continue to offer evening and weekend availability, along with care during school holidays. I'm currently focusing on getting drop-in visits and walks running smoothly and will always do my best to work around your pet’s needs and your schedule. When I care for pets in their own home, I treat the space with the same respect I would want for mine. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules to gate locks — and take time to learn your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I do love to be outside and play with our pups if they won't leash walk as well. We will spend the time together! I make sure doors are locked, leashes are secure, and that your pet is never rushed or overwhelmed. I build trust by being consistent, calm, and communicative. Whether it's a walk or a drop-in, I always take time to greet your pet with warmth and patience so they feel safe while you're away. I also send updates and photos, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a positive, low-stress experience — one where your pet feels loved, and you feel peace of mind.
About: Hello everyone!! My name is Carmen and I would absolutely love to help you care for your beloved pets! I, myself, have grown up with many animals and I would do just about anything for them. I am super involved in volunteering at my local animal shelters and tending to the animals. I have always had a very sensitive soft spot for animals in general and I will do whatever I can to spend my days around them! Check me out on WAG as well! Friendly note: I love being active so if your dog loves going on walks, runs doing any sort of house playing, I am definitely the one to contact first and I also WORK FROM HOME so I am here to tend to your babies needs! I am currently doing this and WAG full time/part time and tend to whatever needs the animal and caretaker need and happy to assist as much as needed! If your animals need any sort of medication prescribed to them daily I have experience giving insulin shots and pills distributed. I can also help clean litter boxes, clean up the backyard of dog waste and play inside/outside with them as I am very active myself!
About: I have been pet sitting for over 10 years. Not only have I taken care of my dog since I was 8, but I also now have kittens of my own who I love dearly. I deeply care for animals and see them as part of the family. I promise to care for your animals with the same love as I do my own. I am currently home from college for the summer, so I have a very open schedule! I am very flexible with the days and hours I do pet care, so I am always able to work with you! Since I have two new kittens, I will not currently be offering in-home care where I live, but am happy to work with you on visiting in your home where your fur baby is already comfortable!
About: I will actually play with your pet. I will get out their favorite toys and play until they are bored with me. I will ensure your pet gets exercise and companionship. I am a teacher. During the summers, I have a lot of availability and flexibility. During the school year, I am limited to nights and weekends. I will treat your pet like they are my own. I will always remember that they are someone's favorite animals in the world and deserve my compassion, patience and care.
About: I fell in love with my high school best friend’s beautiful cat, Tiger. Which taught me the value of furry companions. Later on in life, I went on to get my own pets, my dogs, Mahrie, Jiraiya, and Xavier. Getting dogs of my own taught me a lot and brought a lot of love to my life. I also helped one of my neighbors care for pets they would foster as well. which taught me even more. I am off work on Sunday and Monday. So I am available on these days. I work from 2:30-11pm Tuesday thru Friday. I can come at night and before work and early in the morning! I provide play and enrichment (for cats and dogs) both indoor and outdoor. I do walks as well. I love to tucker them out with play though. It’s fun for both of us.
“Scheduled a first time, last minute drop-in visit and everything went smoothly. Truly appreciate the attentiveness and care that was provided to our dog. Will book again and highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 8-9. My first family dog was a large golden retriever and since then I have taken care of dogs of all sizes! I am a full-time student, so I am mostly available on the weekends, but please feel free to contact me if you need service on the weekdays! I will carefully take care of your pet however you need. I am willing to follow any special instructions that you leave for me! Whatever service you need!
“I was very pleased with Cristina's services. She spent time prior to our booked drop-in visits to come and meet my dogs. She sent me pictures of them daily and they looked happy and relaxed. I will definitely rebook with her for all future dog sitting needs!”

Lees Summit dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jazz was so good with our dogs, it was a huge ask on her time to come and let the dogs out 3 times a day for 6 days. Jazz was very responsible, great communication, had pictures of my babies every single time she came over. She is a very sweet person and you can tell she really loves animals. Highly recommended!!!!

Claudia was awesome! We were able to book with her last minute before our trip and she was such a great help. Always on time, sent us photos and went above & beyond to make sure that our pups were taken care of. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!
