About: I have cared for my own pets for most of my life I have had big dogs, little dogs, many cats, even a fish and I have loved them all! I am currently working a part time job for the summer and this will be an add on to make a couple extra dollars. I only work my part time job a few days during the week so I will have a lot of availability. When caring for pets in others homes I will make sure that the pet has plenty of potty breaks, a ton of play time, and tons of love. I will care for them like they are my own!
About: Hello there! I'm so glad you found my profile! I am a life-long animal lover who has been drawing horses since I could hold a crayon, and I've been caring for all kinds of animals since I was a child. We had rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, cats, dogs, and horses at various times while I was growing up, and my childhood dream was to have lots of cats and lots of horses some day. Well I currently have 3 cats and 1 horse, so that's something! Haha. We also have two ducks and are planning to get more shortly. We've had as many as 5 at a time in the past. I've had pets of my own since my college days, and not surprisingly after having so many animals in my life, I ended up getting my degree in Animal Science! I also volunteered at the local Humane Society walking dogs while in college, and cared for pigs, poultry, horses, cows, and more rodents throughout my education. I also worked at a doggy daycare and boarding kennel for a time after college. These days my animal care is mostly directed at my own pets, but you can never have enough animals in your life in my opinion, and so here I am, ready to spoil your fur babies for you if you need! I currently work from home 3 days a week and am lucky enough to have a pretty flexible schedule during those days as well. That means I can take the time now and then to drop in and check on your pets for you if you need some extra help while you're away! Whenever I drop-in on your pets, I will stick to the routines you already have established for them at home to minimize any stress, so your pet will hardly be able to tell you're gone! But I will also definitely take the time to give them plenty of pets and play-time too, if that's something they would love! ^_^
“Haley was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our animals while we were away and was very responsive and extremely helpful. Titus and Turbo were both very well cared for and it gave us great comfort and peace of mind knowing that they were in good hands :)”

About: My love for pets started to grow almost 15 years ago when I met my best friend! My pet had diet issues so I am very familiar with Prescriptions, and diet restrictions or prescribed diets. I love exploring the outdoors as much as your pets do! My weekly schedule is open, I am taking college courses for Veterinary Medicine! I am doing pet care as a job while I am in school, I base my schedule around what You and Your Pet need! I love to visit my clients, they make everyday so much better! I talk with the pet as I would anyone while we do whatever task we have scheduled! (playing, walking, running, sitting)
About: I have taken care of animals by volunteering at the Kansas City pet project as well as fostering animals. I love being around animals and making sure they are well taken care of. Starting January 6th, 2026, I will be starting my student teaching semester, where I am at school from 7:40-3:30 Monday through Friday. Other than that, I can be with the pets as much as you need! I care for pets by making sure they are let out when they need to be, making sure they are fed, and by giving them plenty of love!
About: With over 8 years of experience and two miniature dachshunds of my own, I offer personalized, loving care that prioritizes your pet’s happiness and well-being. Working from home allows me to integrate pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. I can provide constant companionship, regular check-ins, and ensure that pets receive the attention and care they need throughout the day. In my home, I offer a cozy, secure environment with plenty of playtime and attention, ensuring pets feel comfortable and well-cared for. We have a fenced in back yard and go on daily walks when the weather permits.
“Morgan was great with Wilson the first night! I was able to be worry-free at work while she was there. She was very thorough and updating me and got Wilson everything he needed at drop in!”

About: I have had dogs throughout my life. I love dogs, and they are truly humans’ best friends! My husband and I have a cairn terrier named Hachi and a cavapoo named Matcha, and we would love to meet some furry friends! I love to take a walk after work and I would take your pup with! Our house also has a fenced in yard so your pup can run and burn some energy that way as well. I always keep my door locked and when I’m out with your pup I’ll make sure they are leashed at all time and make sure other dogs are friendly before letting them interact with your pup.

About: I have professional work experience taking care of clients’ animals! I have worked with pets of all kinds, and I always love meeting new animals! I am a full time student, but my classwork is fully online. Over the summer, I will have lots of free time to dedicate to caring for pets! I know exactly how important pets are to their families, and I am dedicated to providing the same level of care I would for my own pets. I want to make sure all pets are able to get the care and love they deserve!
“Jacqueline is outstanding! She took great care of our furbabies while we were out of town. She gave medication as prescribed and sent us pictures along with a report card every visit. Thank you so much, Jacqueline!!”

About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and would love the opportunity to earn your trust and care for your furry family members. If you’re looking for someone dependable, loving, and experienced with dogs of all ages and personalities, I’d be honored if you’d book with me and help me get started on Rover! I have found a passion for being kind and loving to every dog I meet. I’ve noticed I’m naturally great at bonding with dogs and gently helping with training. What better way to fill my cup than by spending time with animals while helping people feel confident their pets are truly cared for? I currently have two dogs: JT, a Jack Russell Beagle mix, and Miss Kahlani Ann, a 3 year old Rat Terrier Corgi mix. I adopted JT when he was 5 years old and have helped him adjust to stairs, car rides, and a daily routine that includes dog park visits. Kahlani Ann keeps life fun with her playful personality and energy. Before them, I shared 10 incredible years with Stewart, my soul dog, who joined me for road trips, everyday life, and miles of running together. Stewart shaped not only my love for animals but how I love them: deeply, patiently, and fully present. I also had a dog named Hoagie for 17 years. He sparked my lifelong love for dogs and taught me just how special the bond between people and pets can be. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors needing gentler attention. As a teacher, I bring calm energy, structure, and clear communication to every interaction. Whether your dog needs exercise, affection, or quiet companionship, I treat each pet like they’re my own. I truly understand the emotions that come with leaving your dog because pets are family. I’ll always go above and beyond to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and cared for. I’m currently off for the summer, which means I have full availability for pet care — especially daytime walks and drop-in visits. This is the perfect time for me to give your pet consistent attention, playtime, and companionship while I build a strong routine with these services. As I build my Rover presence, I’m offering discounted rates for my first few clients. Just reach out and let’s chat! As the school year begins, I’ll continue to offer evening and weekend availability, along with care during school holidays. I'm currently focusing on getting drop-in visits and walks running smoothly and will always do my best to work around your pet’s needs and your schedule. When I care for pets in their own home, I treat the space with the same respect I would want for mine. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules to gate locks — and take time to learn your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I do love to be outside and play with our pups if they won't leash walk as well. We will spend the time together! I make sure doors are locked, leashes are secure, and that your pet is never rushed or overwhelmed. I build trust by being consistent, calm, and communicative. Whether it's a walk or a drop-in, I always take time to greet your pet with warmth and patience so they feel safe while you're away. I also send updates and photos, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a positive, low-stress experience — one where your pet feels loved, and you feel peace of mind.
About: I have had dogs all my life, small, medium, and large. Their care has always come above my own. I love animals and would love to help you with yours I am currently in school online and working part time on weekends, so I am ready to get up and go when it comes to your pets I am more than willing to drop in and take great care of your pup! I am able to feed, crate, and walk your dog if needed.
About: Gone on a business trip? Family emergency on the other side of town? Just want a night out without thinking “did I let the dog out?” Never fear leaving your pet again! My name is Kayla, I’m 27 years old and I’ve been involved with animals all my life. Dogs, cats, hamsters, hedgehogs, goats, horses, cows, you name it! I pride myself in a crazy dog lady, and take care of every animal like they’re my own. Every animal is different and has specific quirks and needs that I’ll quickly pick up and adapt to. Your pet and I will without a doubt become best pals by the time you return, and you’ll never want another pet sitter again. Book me and find out! :) I currently work full time on the weekends, with occasional days during the week, but am able to be flexible with scheduling with advanced notice. Care would be best in your home, but we could possibly arrange care in my home with proper introduction to my animals and children first.
About: I have had a dog in my life since I can ever remember. I’ve been through the good, the bad, and the ugly. My happiness comes from coming home, and getting to be with my furry friend. There is no doubt your furry friend will lack love, kisses, or cuddles with me! 1.5 years ago I got My first ever dog of my own since moving out of my parents and it has been the best experience I could ask for. Truly my best friend, and I cant wait to make many more little best friends!! I am a teacher, so I am currently on summer break. I am typically home all hours of the day, unless I have a few errands to run or go spend time with friends. I am caring for and playing with my dog at all times, and hope to care for and play with yours too! My house has a fenced in backyard- but I make sure to always keep an eye on him when he is outback. My dog has been trained to not run away when we are out front of our house. He will chase after other people out of excitement, so if people are seen in the distance walking towards we will put him inside so he can enjoy from the window:) I feed him twice a day and give him plenty exercise! We go on walks and run around out back. His favorite toy is his frisbee!

About: From my earliest days to now as an adult, my love for animals has remained unwavering. Growing up, I not only took care of our family pets but also extended my affection to the pets of neighbors and friends. I've always felt a deep connection with nature's creatures, and I make sure to extend my care to them as well. While my genuine affection for animals is evident, I must admit that my biggest weakness is perhaps being overly indulgent with them. This has led to Kona developing a love for "nilla wafers." Nonetheless, I do maintain a balanced approach when it comes to training, as I gently enforce basic commands like "sit" and others. Recognizing the importance of regular exercise and bathroom breaks, I religiously take my dogs out for walks twice a day. However, I also understand that not all dogs prefer walks and some might enjoy playtime more. So, I happily adapt to their preferences, engaging in activities like tug of war to keep them happy and active. In essence, my tender heart and laid-back nature make me an ideal companion for animals, and I find joy in providing them with the care, attention, and love they deserve. I have the flexibility of working from home and remotely, making pet sitting at either my place or yours incredibly convenient. Drop-ins are always welcome and never a problem. Taking breaks from the computer is essential, and what better way to do so than by visiting and caring for your beloved pet? When outside I utilize multiple tie-outs since we lack a fenced yard. I make sure to stay with them whenever they're on the tie-out. During walks, leashes are always used and harness if preffered. Indoors, I employ baby gates to restrict access to certain rooms, while allowing the majority of the home to be open for my pet to roam freely.
About: I've been caring for cats since l was about about 6 or 7 years old. After I lost my oldest cat Sailym at 17, I've decided I wanted to continue helping others with their pets while they travel and give them a peace of mind like I had during my trips to Spain in college. The past few years I have dedicated some of my free time to help a few family and friends with their other dogs and cats while they take long travels at a country. I currently work full time but am free throughout the entire weekend which is why I prefer cats. I am able to stay overnight at places as long as I can commute to and from my own office as well as drop by my house to see my cats too. My house are currently has one to two dedicated rooms just for pets that includes cat trees, extra litter boxes and places to play, as well as toys. This allows an easy transition if they need to be separated from my own animals or they need some time to decompress.
About: Hi! I go by my middle name, Kathy and I’m 69 years old, I have 3 dogs currently and have had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, ducks, hamsters, bearded dragons and a gecko for pets as well as fish! I can provide several references from people I have cared for their pets. I love all animals. I do work part time 9-1:30 M-F during the school year, I’m off during the summer, but will be able to take care of your pet before work and then after and through the night. I’m very trust worthy and would love the opportunity to care for your pets. I take care of your home and your pets as carefully as my own. I’m currently working part time and would have plenty of time to care for your pet before and after work. I’m also available to spend the nights when needed. I provide in your home sitting only. I feel keeping your pet in their home in their familiar surroundings is much less stressful on them. I will provide as much love and cuddles as they will allow. My typical day during the week would consist of me getting up early enough to let your pet out to potty, feed and water them and play a little while. Then I would go to work till 12:30/1:30, go back to your house and repeat the morning routine unless your pet does not eat again in the afternoon, play and cuddle as much as your pet wants. If your pet sleeps with you, they are more than welcome to sleep with me too.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Lake Lotawana with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
