I work from home full-time during the week, so I’m home with the dogs all day. They hang out with me while I work, and I let them out into our fenced yard regularly, usually every hour or two, or whenever they need a break. It’s a pretty relaxed routine, and I love having them by my side throughout the day.

When dogs stay with us, they’re treated like part of the family. They’re free to roam the house as they please, are welcome on the couch and bed, and get lots of love and attention throughout the day. At our home, we have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time. We also live near a park and several walking trails, so if your pup enjoys walks, I’m happy to take them out for fresh air and exercise. Our two dogs are very friendly and patient. Our younger one loves to play if another dog is up for it, while both are perfectly happy just lounging and napping. They’ve spent time with all 15 of our foster dogs, so they’re used to being around dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I also love taking pictures and will happily send as many updates as you’d like, because I know how important peace of mind is when you’re away from your dog. I normally send updates twice a day (or more), but I can tailor frequency based on your preference, and you can check in at any time.

I take all of it seriously and do my best to provide a safe, happy, and stress-free environment. My dogs are truly like my children, so I completely understand how important peace of mind is when leaving your pup with someone else. I’m here to make that experience as smooth and comforting as possible for both you and your dog.
A typical day
We love keeping things fun and active for the dogs in our care! I probably have more dog toys than I should… Hazel, our younger dog, is a big fan of tug, squeaky toys, and anything that rolls. She also loves running around the yard with our 7-year-old dog, Khaleesi. We have walking trails in our neighborhood and usually take our dogs out for walks in the mornings or evenings when it’s cooler. During the day while I’m working from home, the dogs spend their time lounging on the couch, playing with toys, or getting some fresh air in the fenced yard. Whether your pup loves to play, cuddle, or just relax, there’s always something to keep them happy here!

I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with pups and couldn’t imagine life without them. I’ve been a trusted Rover sitter for several years and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs, including puppies, seniors, and those requiring medical or behavioral support. My husband and I have two dogs of our own, and we’ve also fostered 15 dogs over the years. Some were tiny puppies, others were older with health issues, and a few just needed extra love and training. We truly enjoy spending our free time with dogs, whether they’re our own or ones we’re caring for. You can feel confident knowing your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re with us.
