“Derrika is the GREATEST! I am so happy I found her. She and her family are so nice and their love of animals is very apparent. I loved the pics she sent throughout the day. Within the first few hours of my Yogis first visit she sent me a pic of my doggo with his head in her sons lap. He only does this when he is EXTREMELY comfortable. Knowing Yogi is in excellent hands helps both his & my separation anxiety when we can’t be together. She is a true gem”

“Lindsey was great! She sent me texts and lots of pics! You know she really cares for your fur baby while you are away. We felt really comfortable leaving Jake with her. I highly recommend if you need a sitter!!”

“Really wonderful sitter! Our elderly dog was well taken care of, and I got a lot of great updates. Our Ainsley is historically stressed when away from home, but she was comfortable enough to rest, eat, and learn how to use the doggy-door on her own! Definitely a rebook if/when we have to leave our girl again.”

“Shannon is an excellent dog sitter. She has watched our 10 year dog, Ginger, several times now. I am very confident she’s being well looked after and getting all the love and attention she needs. I get daily updates of Ginger going on walks and basking in the sun. Very grateful I don’t have to worry about her when I’m out of town!!”

“Nicole was wonderful! She provided excellent communication throughout our trip and sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was well cared for, and having fun. In fact, when he came home, he cried because he missed his new friends and the environment he had grown so attached to. We couldn’t ask for a better indication of how happy and comfortable he was in her care. Highly recommend!”

“Our Remi had the best time with Sylveena and her family. We received so many pictures, updates and notes throughout the days we were gone, it was so appreciated. She even kept a mindful watch over her time outside due to the intense heat we’re experiencing. It’s obvious that Sylveena loves animals and we are so happy to have found her!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my Blue Heeler received! When I picked her up after two nights, she was calm, content, and completely at ease — no anxiety at all, which says everything about the environment she was kept in. The dog area was spacious and looked brand new, giving her plenty of room to feel comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Ben and Cassie are extremely kind. They were accommodating to us forgetting our dog food, updated us during Ivy’s stay and were very professional. We will be using them again in the future, overall a great experience.”

“Rocky was well taken care of and it put my mind at ease when i received pictures and videos that he was happy and loved! Thank you again for everything!”

“Amazing she sent pictures and updated me several times a day. Ace was very happy and well taken care of, I felt very comfortable, we did a meet and greet and she showed me the backyard and even encouraged Ace to use the doggie door, unfortunately we don’t have one. Tasha has a nice fenced in back yard she was just awesome I will definitely use her again.”

“Rachel & Rhiannon were so easy to work with and provided great care for Keely while we were gone. The updates and pictures helped ease our minds so we could relax and enjoy our trip. We could tell Keely was relaxed and comfortable when we picked her up. We’ll us them again when we’re in the area!”

“My little Maltese is very attached to me and is very much a lap dog and gets on our furniture. We left him with Bridget for 8 days and I felt very comfortable with her when we did our met and greet with her. She sent me pictures every day of my baby and he pretty much got to run her living room like he would do in my house. He was up on her furnature making himself at home. I could tell in the pictures that my dog was comfortable so that made my time away more enjoyable and I wasn't worrying about my doggie. I would recommend her everytime and do plan on using her again. He was well cared for.”

“Merley and her family (fur babies included) were so friendly, kind, and loving to our Leo; he wanted to stay and play :) We loved that Merley was quick to respond to messages, sent photos and a video, and that she and her family loved Leo like he was their own. We’re from out of town, but if we lived here, we would definitely be a repeat client.”

“Dexter and Eddy had one of the most wonderful stay. They came home happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. The sweetest touch? They gave both pups a puppy cup and even sang "Happy Birthday" to Dexter for his special day! 🎂 It meant the world to see how much they cared. Both boys were all tail wags and smiles the entire time. Thank you again for making Dexter’s birthday so memorable and for taking such great care of our boys.”

“Shawn was so great!! He met us for a meet and greet before boarding, and then when we brought the dogs back to stay they were excited as soon as they saw his neighborhood again. He took excellent care of our two pups over the weekend! He clearly was very attentive to my dogs while they were in his care because they came home happy and exhausted! He checked in daily and provided pictures of our happy pups while they were with him. He really went above and beyond and we will absolutely be using him again in the future because our dogs LOVED him.”

“Chloe and Collin were recommended to me, and I’m very grateful for their hospitality. They extended Tucker’s stay for us due to an unforeseen circumstance, which we appreciate immensely.”

“Crissy was super great and provided a comfortable home and stay for my pup! really appreciated her checking in (as it was my first rover experience) and her flexibility!”

“Savannah and Dan were very nice and took good care of our pup! They have a great setup for dogs including lots of toys and a yard. We are already planning to drop our dog off with Savannah and Dan again.”

“Rachel took great care of my cat during a week-long trip! She sent informative updates and photos, was attentive to his needs, and handled a few vomiting episodes during my trip without issue.”

“Connie is great with my sole cat, and he appreciates her very much! Connie is communicative and a great sitter and we appreciate her bunches. Would recommend to anyone in Raytown and beyond.”

“Kate is amazing, this was the second time she has taken care of our cat and Kate is great with her and she gives great info on the Rover cards. Whenever we are out of town we will always have Kate watch Henley if she is available.”

About: I've taken care of three cats at the same time with only one litter box 🥹. I very much understand what it means to intrude on a cat's space or how patient you have to be to gain certain cats' trust - along with the bite and scratch marks it may take to get there.
“Madeline was incredible with my sweet kitty! The time she spent with her and the care provided was so comforting! I've already booked Madeline again. So happy!”

“Lulu is such a great communicator and provides wonderful updates and pictures during her stays. She is very attuned to the kitties and goes above and beyond to ensure they are taken care of and well adjusted.”

“Maggie is amazing. Super attentive and careful with the animals. I traveled for 4 days and she took care of everything to ensure my cats were well cared for during those days. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Olga was fantastic! Our cats typically do not do very well with temporary changes in their environment and have not done well when boarded previously. Olga sent us regular updates and photos of them and it was very clear that they got much more comfortable staying with her after a short adjustment period. Can not recommend her enough! We will absolutely bring our pets back to her in the future any time they need to be boarded! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boys Olga!!!”

“Paige was great with our senior cat who needed medications and is a picky eater. She was undeterred by our detailed instructions for her medication and feeding routine. Her visits were timely and she was responsive when we had questions while we were gone. We would certainly use her again in the future.”
“Cheyenne did an outstanding job making sure each of my cats were taken care of with care. She was particularly careful with the one very shy cat making sure she did not stress her, and made her as comfortable as possible. The kitties were very happy when I came home loving the attention, play time and care from Cheyenne. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've always loved cats and currently have three of my own, so I understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I'm happy to care for them in the way that makes them feel most comfortable. I'm experienced with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and, of course, giving plenty of attention and affection when they want it. I know how important it is to keep their routine consistent while you're away. I'll treat your cat like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. I live my life for my family and my dogs. "Be the person your dog thinks your are." Boone Pickens. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.
About: Extremely reliable with above reproach follow through and communication. I will regularly provide updates with photos. Have cared for senior dogs needing medicine. Driven by ensuring your dogs feel safe and cared for. I have open availability to care for your animals needs at almost any time. Send me a message with abnormal requests and I am certain we can find a solution. I can provide either a private or communal space for your dog to interact with ours to ensure a safe and fun environment for all. We carefully introduce each new dog and keenly watch for behavior changes.
“Caitlin was wonderful! She sent pics everyday. She played with my furry girls from toys in their toy box! I really appreciated the time and connectivity she spent with my pets. Definitely going to call on her again!”

“I freaking love Alex!!!!! She is always reliable, goes above and beyond, and makes my work travel weeks so much less stressful by knowing my fur babies and home are taken care of. Thank you 10x over!!! ❤️”

“Derrika is FANTASTIC!!! She and her family are so incredibly friendly, kind and warm hearted. On the first day that Yogi (my doggo) was there he warmed up immediately - this was so easy for him as he knows & trusts great people. I got several lovely pictures - one of which was Yogi on her couch resting his head on her son’s legs. Yogi doesn’t do this unless he is very chill. You & your doggo will be grateful that you found her!!”

“Caitlin took great care of our Corgi and Cockapoo. The girls had the best time and were exhausted when we picked them up. We will definitely book with Caitlyn again.”

“Amazing. Sylveena is wonderful. She fit me in last minute and my Snick loved being there. She sent plenty of photos and most of all my baby slept like a baby when I picked her up. Sylveena is great and I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have had dogs in my family since I was a child and have years of experience with various breeds. I work from home most days and happy to get active with the doggos. I have a loving a cuddly home and treat all my fur guests as family. As someone with a senior dog, I am very patient and know how to accommate the additional needs some pets may have. With my flexible work from home schedule, I am able to be home during the week, to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, cuddle, and to play. I am also available on weekends. With the exclusion of running errands, while your dog is with me, they will never be left alone for more than a few hours extended amount of time. I have a fenced in back yard for your dog to run free in. I also have a senior chihuahua who is very chill and unbothered, so as long as your dog likes other dogs, they will get along just fine. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. I know all families have different schedules for potty and feeding times, and my schedule is flexible so I can keep your dog on track even while you are gone.
“Christine was kind to care for my pup, Phoebe, on short notice when my regular sitter couldn’t come last minute. She and her kiddos kept Phoebe safe and comfortable!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of him. He loves hanging out with you. It's funny because we will tell him where he's going in the morning and he gets so excited!”

About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). There is security on my home and absolutely nobody but delivery people come here during the day.
“We had a wonderful experience, Shawn kept me up to date with pics and texts telling me how my pup was doing thru the trip. Very trustworthy and will definitely be booking another trip for Bentley soon with Shawn!”

“Tricia was great with my two dogs. My boy had a blast playing with her dogs. My girl has separation anxiety and Tricia gave great ideas for future stays. She was quick to respond to messages and sent photos of the dogs playing. Will definitely book again!”

About: Moonbabies Little Lodge offers boutique home boarding designed especially for small dogs who enjoy a calm household environment. Your dog will stay in a cozy home setting with a small resident pack of friendly toy-breed dogs and plenty of supervised outdoor playtime in our secure backyard play yard. Our yard features enrichment areas just for small dogs, including ramps, tunnels, lounging spots, and shaded cabana areas where pups can relax between play sessions. In warm weather we even bring out a splash pad for dogs who enjoy cooling off. Inside the home, dogs are part of the family during the day and sleep comfortably in their own individual night pens with beds and toys for a peaceful evening routine. Because this is a small home environment, we typically host only 2–3 guest dogs at a time, allowing us to give each dog plenty of attention and supervision. This setup works best for dogs who: • are under about 20 lbs • are comfortable around other small dogs • are house trained • can relax calmly in a pen or crate if needed A meet-and-greet is required before first bookings to ensure everyone is a good fit. We look forward to welcoming your pup to Moonbabies Little Lodge — where little dogs have big fun. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life! Guest dogs join our calm daily small-dog household routine with supervised backyard playtime, indoor relaxation, naps, cuddles, and social interaction throughout the day. I keep my guest list intentionally small so each dog receives close supervision and personal attention in a comfortable home environment. Moonbabies Little Lodge is designed specifically for friendly small dogs. Dogs enjoy supervised play in a secure fenced backyard and are introduced gradually to maintain a calm group dynamic. Guest dogs are monitored closely and separated if needed for rest, meals, or quiet time. Overnight, dogs sleep safely in cozy individual pens with their own bedding, food, and water.

“We are a returning user of Merley’s services. Merley kept our pup for a day while we were at work. Our dog is high energy being a year old. Our main goal was to have her stimulated and give her more of a home like environment. Our dog came home happy and not overly energetic nor overly tired. Merley has a passion for what she does and we will return!”

Lulu is very punctual and professional and has answered any questions I have. She also leaves a detailed report after each walk. I would highly recommend her!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm patient, dependable, and pay close attention to the little details that matter, from following feeding schedules and exercise routines to keeping water bowls full and giving plenty of affection. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, energetic dogs, shy cats, and multi-pet households. My goal is simple: treat every pet like they're my own and give you peace of mind knowing they're in caring, reliable hands. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to be reliable and consistent for pet care. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or spending quality time with your pet, I'm happy to work around their routine. I love being active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, not just a job. Every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions before each visit. Whether I'm in your home or taking your dog for a walk, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I'll make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime while also respecting the routines they're used to. I keep owners updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I always treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable, happy, and loved until you return.
“Kat is wonderful!!! I can't say enough good things about her! She took extra, extra care with my little fur boy who is extremely timid and fearful of new people. She is very knowledgeable and was so conscientious about making him feel safe.”

“Olga walks our dog Thea and does great with her. Thea gets anxious but Olga is very calm and patient. She’s always on time, keeps me updated, and sends photos during the walks. She’s also a dog trainer and gives helpful tips about leash walking and Thea’s anxiety. We’re still working with her and will definitely continue booking her for walks and training.”

“Elise has done a wonderful job with Bibbles. After having surgery and being unable to walk her as I usually do Elise stopped by and Bubbles got her outing/exercise! Very dependable, respectful and got along with Bubbles really well, will definitely have her as my go to for pet assistance in the future.”

I've owned, babysat, nursed back to health beagles, dachshunds, mastiffs, pit bulls, dalmatians, cocker spaniels, border collies, mixx breeds...they are all special to me. I don't give injected meds because I am TERRIFIED of needles! I am willing to travel to the dog's home if they are more comfortable there then outside of their own home. At your house If you have a skittish dog or cat I know how to be present without being in their face or in their space. And if you have a loving dog I love to cuddle too. If you're going on a trip I don't mind getting your mail or packages and putting them in the house or whatever else you need done I am 85% working from home so I would be available more often. On the days that I am at the office, it will be about 4-6 hours between checkins during the day I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. They have so much room to run and play inside and outside. We have great treats and toys. They will have a lot of fun.
“Just got back from my trip yesterday and Monet did a wonderful job with my Greta. She was patient and professional. She takes pet care very seriously and I’ve already booked her for my next trip.”

About: Hi, my name is Autumn and i have worked with dogs and other animals for over 15 years. My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I am a single mother of two daughters (5 & 11) and dog mom of 3 older (13,13, &15), very sweet dogs. They are all very social and well behaved. I have a large fenced in yard. I also have experience doing nail trims and offer in-home nail trims. i also have experience bathing and administering medications. I take care, safety, and love very seriously and will always do my best to make sure your babe feels as comfortable and happy as possible! Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover. I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new additions to our family, Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big dogs! They're both great girls and are used to new friends and visitors often. 😊 I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I'm happy to cater to any individual needs. 2/23/25 Update: Hi, so its now been about 23 years of working with all these amazing beautiful babes! Im still available for boarding, home drop-ins, and daily walks or potty breaks if you don’t have time or need any extra help. We have a new family member now. Marley is our newest baby girl. She is a two year old Dalmatian and she is super sweet and full of playful sweet energy! She gets along with everybody. :) So our household currently consists of Me, my partner, my two daughters (10 & 16), Six, Pepper, Marley, and Mr.B (Turtle). Also just to clarify, my name is Amber Autumn Hays. I went by Autumn when I first started my Rover Act. You can call me either. :) Please let me know if you are in need of a sitter, boarding, daycare, walks, or nail trims, and I would be happy to help! 😊🐾🐾🐾 Can't wait to meet new friends and see old ones again! Looking forward to warm weather and summertime fun! ☀️ Basically I live and breath kids and dogs and my world pretty much revolves around my kids and yours. :) I have learned a lot over the last 23 years so I am very qualified in giving your pup the care they want and need while you are away. I have a very large fully fenced in yard and 3 friendly and playful babes to keep your baby company. Everyone has free roam in the house or outside during the day. I can also kennel if need be or I only kennel at night or if I leave the house for any reason. If I come to your home, I follow any instructions you give me and the time frame that you’re needing.

“Savannah and Dan were very nice and took good care of our pup! They have a great setup for dogs including lots of toys and a yard. We are already planning to drop our dog off with Savannah and Dan again.”

“Stevie was great! She worked with our schedule for dropping off and picking up. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our furry family member was in good hands.”

“Upon the first conversation and meeting, she made us feel comfortable and we knew our fur baby would be safe and well cared for. Being out of the country for 3 weeks, we needed no worries and Saige delivered! When we picked up Mali, she looked happy and loved. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you!”

“Jessica and her family were wonderful with our dog Jack! He seemed right at home at their house for the long weekend. Her kids paid lots of attention to Jack which he can never get enough of. We got plenty of updates over the weekend so we knew exactly how he was doing. We will definitely be using Jessica again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was just 7 years old. My passion is caring for others. I know how to work with dogs with emotional and behavioral issues. I know how to handle dogs even big dogs that pull on the leash. I can help keep training consistent. I run a home daycare and help care for my mom and homeschool my autistic son with time, room and love to give your doggies. I do have a dog and 2 cats of my own that don't get along so I have to switch out their living room social time and will ensure your animals has some social time as well. I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away.
