About: I volunteered so much the guy who ran the shelter told me I need more human friends 😅😂 I jog twice a day, once in the morning and right before sunset, and would love to bring your furry friend along with me! I don’t have my own pets so your dog will have all of my attention. Volunteering at an animal shelter for 5 years taught me so much about different breeds. The main thing I learned is that every dog is just as unique as every human. Their like kids, you need to earn their trust and when you do it’s super rewarding. Message me with ANY questions I work from home and have a super flexible schedule. So our required meet and greet can be at your earliest convenience and will only take 5-15 minutes.

However, this was my son's wedding and everyone was staying at an air b&b where there were no dogs allowed. I did not have to worry at all. Lauren sent updates including pictures every day. About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at an elementary school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was a kid, my home was my zoo. Based on this, I always had a soft spot for pets and took every chance to take care of friends and family pets. As I grew up, it became my hobby to volunteer in shelters and petsit. I currently am a mom of a Husky, a Shitzu, a cat, and a fish! I would be more than happy to be there for your pet and their needs. Bonus points: As a husky mom, I can be very active. As a cat mom, I know when to give space and let them nap! I work as a Bilingual tutor in a high school in the mornings. However, this summer I will be available 24/7 to attend to your pet's needs. When it comes to my home, I have a big backyard where your pet can have the freedom to run freely and two friendly dogs who are up to play 24/7, however, there's the option of opting for the company if your pet is not comfortable around other pets. When it comes to a client’s home, I'll ensure the safety of the pet and the house, reporting everything in detail and offering extended stay periods.

About: I grew up with 3 dogs, today both my sisters have a dog; a Golden Retriever & a German Shepard. I have watched and cared for both of them, as well as pet/house sitting for other family & friends. I also became a cat dad when I adopted a six year old cat three years ago! I just moved to CT so while I search for a job I decided to join Rover!! 6am-10pm 7 days a week I am available! I can be an early bird or a night owl & I love all animals! I can take your pet on a long run or a short walk and anything in between! Most of my experience is with bigger dog breeds like German Shepard, Golden Retriever, & Pit Bull. I have also cared for French Bull Dogs and other unknown dog breeds. I would love to work with any animals! About: We care for our furry friends as if they are our children. We’ve never met a dog we didn’t fall in love with. I started training with dogs when I was in elementary school and never stopped. I got my Doberman Rowan right after graduating college and trained him myself starting at 8 weeks old. He grew into the most intelligent and obedient dog who blew away everyone with his performance and kind and calm nature. We know how important consistency is with ongoing training and we will be sure to conform to whatever your preferences are. Our Rowan had a series of health issues including several emergency events which taught us much about not only how to handle emergencies but also how to prevent them with careful monitoring, medicine administering, and providing them what they need. Our training continued when we foster-failed with our mix Suki, a friendly, mild mannered and sweet 1.5 year old. While our Rowan only lives on in spirit, Suki will entertain, play, and cuddle with your friend like they’re her sister. With my fully remote job I’m home all day. Cloé is a PhD student with variable schedules, so between the two of us your dog will get lots of stimulation, care, and attention. Please feel free to ask any and all questions. We’re here to help! If your dog is reliable off leash we have many options to get them exercised. I often run with Suki at Bluff Point and if your dog is up for it they could easily join us. We also take our dogs to several other trails in the surrounding area to provide them with stimulation through smells, meeting other dogs, and chasing squirrels. We truly know what it means to give your dog the stimulation and care they need. Our heart would hurt too much otherwise!

About: With over 2 decades of hands-on experience, I have taken care of most breeds of dog, many cats, fish, reptiles, and birds as well! I have an older sister who is a veterinarian and she has passed down care tips essential for perfect pet care. I worked in a dog kennel for three years and was in charge of 20+ dogs and cats a day, their feeding schedules, play groups, medications, and decent and basic care such as baths and grooming. Mornings are filled with cuddles, complete feedings, morning walks, and kisses before my partner and I head off to work. While at work, pets are in a climate controlled environment with multiple cameras on at all times. Water is placed in every room, and safe secluded areas can also be provided. Given I have my own pets, their care is my #1 priority. I have cameras with motion sensor notifications allowing me to check in frequently, and do not work far from my home incase an animal needed immediate attention. Pets are always given attention ad soon as the work day is finished, and spending time with them is always a joy!

About: I have lived with a dog in my family for as long as I can remember. I have had three dogs (Cherry and Dutty) and am currently petsitting my sister's dog (Thor) on weekday mornings. Thor used to live with me and my family but my sister has recently moved out. I love being around dogs because they show you so much affection without speaking. I always look forward to taking care of my sister's dog. I walk Thor around my neighborhood so he can get some exercise and lead a long healthy life. My sister went to the vet for a check-up and told her he has lost three pounds since I started walking him more :). I also bathe Thor on a monthly basis. My past dog, Dutty, was a smaller dog but I took care of him with the basics such as walking, baths, etc. I was still in my child/adolescent years when Dutty was around. I also have four guinea pigs with two being male (Coconut and Milo) and the other two being female (Peanut and Peanut Jr.). Peanut Jr. is the daughter of Peanut and Milo. Having four guinea pigs is not easy but it has helped tremendously with taking care of dogs. I would say it has made taking care of dogs much easier! I am currently free for most of the week. If you ask for a schedule that I can't attend to, I will let you know. Opening right now are mornings - 10 AM and 2PM -evenings. Every day on a weekday, my sister drops off Thor in the morning at our house. Usually, Thor has already been taken out before my sister drops her off but I take him out if that isn't the case. He is also fed in the morning. Thor seems to be very picky with his food so I have to mix up wet food with his dry food. After this, I leave Thor with my mother so I can feed my guinea pigs and clean their cage. They are in a locked room that Thor can't access for their safety. I try to give Thor as much attention as he likes to cuddle and also be around someone. Even when he is sleeping, he prefers that someone is in the same room with him. Sometimes, I have to watch my nephew for a bit because my mother babysits him while my brother and sister-in-law are at work. Thor is usually happy being around my nephew so it all works out! I make sure Thor isn't rummaging through garbage and pick up anything on the floor that is toxic. Since Thor sheds constantly, I always have to clean the floor to keep the house tidy. I try to walk Thor every three hours and I also would go to my backyard to play with him so he can get some sun.

“My wife and I were recently in a bind. We had booked travel to Italy, with the plan of having our parents house-sit for us while we were gone. Those plans fell through, and we first considered a kennel for our dog Brutus, and our two cats. The problem with that was firstly, it was super expensive and secondly we were going to be gone for nearly three weeks and didn't like the idea of Brutus being in a cage for so long. We stumbled upon Rover.com where we were lucky enough to find Tara. Although we were a little wary of someone we didn't know watching our beloved pets and watching our home, the first meeting with Tara really put us at ease. She explained her schedule, told us of her experience and even made recommendations on what to leave in case of emergencies. While we were out of the country Tara kept us in the loop of everything that was going on, even when our cat scratched the dog on the nose (aww.). She sent pictures regularly and was wonderful through the whole process. All of that and her prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for a pet-sitter or house-sitter and will certainly use her the next time I go out of town!”

About: I’ve taken care German Shepherds, Labs, Weimaraner and mixed breeds. I currently care for my four rescue dogs ranging from 9 yrs to 3 yrs old. All were 5 months old except for my Weim, which we rescued at 1.5 yrs. Been around and cared for dogs since I was 12yrs old. I work from home on Fridays with a flexible schedule and off on weekends to allow me to give plenty of attention and exercise to your dog. About: I've been taking care of animals my whole life! I have experience with dogs, cats, large animals, reptiles and pocket pets. I have the knowledge to handle emergency situations if needed and can administer injections, sub Q fluids, medications etc. I offers nail trimming for well behaved dogs/cats. Have a high energy dog that needs a little extra enrichment? No problem! I love to hike! I'm currently apprenticeing to become a licensed dog trainer and can offer basic training as well! My animals are my life, so let me take care of yours like they're my own! I currently work full time at a veterinary hospital from 745-530. I have every Wednesday off and most weekends. I do work and occasional Saturday from 8-12. I have 4 dogs and 4 cats all are very well behaved and I know them well. They have a routine schedule of training daycare and enrichment. I have a dog room equipped with a camera for when I'm not home. Only one of my dogs are crated during the day because she's only a baby. I do have several crate sizes available if needed while staying with me. I have a fenced in yard and enjoy a weekend hike with my fur babies! My cats have window perches several cat trees and scratching posts. They have there own toy basket seperate from the dogs and are just as spoiled! We have several cat doors which allow the cats to escape the dogs when they prefer. I have a strict cleaning schedule my dogs get bathed monthly and are given flea/tick/heartworm prevention along with my cats. Bedding is washed weekly. Pretty much everything is washable in my house, when you have as many pets as I do it has to be! I have several enrichment toys that I rotate through for those rainy days. I do bring a few of my dogs to work with me as well if it's going to be a long day but my husband works very short days and is usually home.

About: I have hands on experience with both energetic puppies and senior pets who need extra attention, gentle handling, and sometimes medication. I’m confident in managing different temperaments, following routines closely, and creating a calm, safe environment, genuine love will never miss. I'm currently free and taking a break during summer as I wanna be home training my pup so I this time sets perfect to make connections with other pets as well and emphasize doggie daycare and my services in rover. House with a fenced, green and shade backyard, crate in case client wants use it, different cognitive toys, and a buddy to play with will make your pet feel love as safe and sound.
