About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.

About: Ever since I was a kid family and friends have trusted me to care for and check on their dogs. I love animals so much and I’ve only ever gotten good feedback. I am on my 4th year at WSU, majoring in wildlife ecology and conservation, so I have great basic knowledge and skills to care for animals! My class schedule allows me to take multiple breaks throughout the day on mon, wed, and fri. But my Tuesdays and Thursdays are strictly from 8am-12pm. I will also send my schedule if requested. Firstly I want to make you and your animal the most comfortable as possible so I would like to follow any schedule or routine as strictly as possible. If there isn’t a specific schedule then I will be open to anything you and your pet are comfortable with. I will take them out, play with them, cuddle with them, etc.

I also occasionally volunteer at the Whitman County Humane Society. I am comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, and have plenty of experience with administering medications, following elaborate care instructions, and cleaning all kinds of messes. I love dogs and love keeping them happy and healthy! If you are considering me for your pet’s care, I can make as many home visits during the day on weekends as you need and am able to stay with your pet overnight any night. Due to sharing my living space with others, I am not available to have pets stay with me in my home at this time. I have a fear-free approach when handling animals, and will let them choose the pacing of our interactions. I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible!

About: I have taken care of dogs and other pets since I was a young child. I have an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Conservation Biology and recently finished a master's in Environmental Education and Science Communication. I am very passionate about animals, both domestic and wild. I recently graduated with my Masters of Natural Resources degree from the University of Idaho and just got my first full-time job here in Pullman! I work M-F 8am to 5pm with a one hour break, so I’m able to check on your pup(s) before, during, and after work with ease! I ensure that pets have numerous potty breaks, plenty of play and rest time, and, of course, they will get plenty of cuddles. If a fenced-in yard is unavailable, I will ensure they get extra walks into their daily routine.

About: I grew up with dogs-German Shepherds, Golden Retriever, and a Newfoundland/St. Bernard mix. I have two cats at home that have been around dogs all their lives. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: I have had pets since I was born, and from age 5 I started to help withtheir care. I have always had a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, etc. I may not be a professional, however, I believe I am pretty knowledgeable about cats and dogs, their care, and some training. 3rd year in college, studying mathematics at WSU. I have had pets all my life back home and I loved them all sooo much. I am free most of days of the week in between my classes, good for drop ins and dog walks :) Lots of play, cuddle, excercise and attention. What ever the pet needs and wants, I try my best to fullfil. If they need to let out energy, let them play in the yard, if they need alone time, let them nap, etc. Lots of toys and enrichment activities, and lots of love.

About: My experience ranges wide from puppy training + care, all the way too administering medicine for senior dogs and caring for their special needs! I pride myself on ensuring the individual needs of each different pet are met, no matter what they may be! I currently attend Washington State University at the Pullman campus! I have classes M-F in the afternoon, but am extremely flexible in my scheduling otherwise! Safety & client relationships are a top priority in how I care for pets. I believe open communication between a sitter and client is crucial for peace of mind when allowing for someone else to care for your babies. Locking all exterior doors, windows, and garages are a primary focus post-visiting your pet. About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since a young age. I worked in my mother's grooming business starting at age 9 and continued on until age 12. I also have volunteer experience at two places, a cat and dog rescue facility. I have a pet, a cat, of my own and previously owned many different kinds of pets including dogs, cats, birds, horses, etc. I have a lot of experience caring for animals, I can bathe and clip nails, administer medicine by mouth, and I do well with hard to handle animals. I don't discriminate by breed, so pitbulls and other bully breeds are welcome! I am currently a full time college student, so afternoons work better for me. But if needed I can work other times as I understand how hard it is to find sitters. I currently cannot bring pets to my home as I am in an apartment, but I can easily come to your home. I prefer not to crate animals unless asked to by owners, so that shouldn't be a worry. I also don't limit pets to a certain amount of play time, so if you have a playful pet, I'm happy to engage!
