I usually have classes from 1-5 PM, then work for a couple hours after that. I can usually stop by on weekends, late nights, or mornings/ early afternoons to take care of your pet!

I will regularly check on the well-being of the animal. Not only will your pet be fed and taken out regularly, but any mess that we might make will be cleaned up better than we found it!
Information Sara M. would like to know about your pet
Some information I would like to know ahead of time is how they are on a leash, if they are aggressive towards anything, if they have any dietary restrictions, and if they are okay with car rides. Depending on the location, I may take dogs to a park for a walk and would love to know if they are okay riding in the car. Also, if they are aggressive on the leash, I would also like to know that so I can prepare.
A typical day
First, of course, we would either go on a walk or a run. If they are comfortable with other dogs, I would also take them to the dog park to chase all the balls. I’ll then treat the precious puppy to get a pup cup (unless they have dietary needs), and hopefully we can do some sort of mental stimulation at home to completely tire them out. I love walking dogs on trails, so hopefully there will be a few close by!

I have been around animals since I was born, and wanted to be a veterinarian ever since I was three! I now attend WSU and am in my first year of veterinary school! I have worked with several different types of animals, ranging from mice and rats to horses. I currently have 3 of my own cats and 4 rats! I have a dog back at home in Tacoma too. If you need simple drop ins, pet sitting, or dog walks, I am here for you!

Sara is AMAZING! She took care of my 3 cats for 10 days and did more than expected. She was prompt with stopping by everyday after her classes to feed and check on the cats. She spent time each evening giving them snuggles and pets. Cleaned their bowls and litter box and sent me photos everyday. I felt very comfortable knowing they were well cared for while I was gone and by the photos it looked my cats were very happy too 😊 She is a vet student at WSU so I also knew that if any of cats were sick, she would take good care of them and get them any needed medical attention. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
