“Courtney was wonderful with my sometimes nervous rescue pup. From the first pictures I could tell he was enjoying himself. I expected him to have a bigger reaction to seeing us when we picked him up. He had such a good time it was no big deal. That tells me how comfortable and happy he was.”

“She was so great with him. We explained that we’re students and she was so kind and willing to work with our budget which we really appreciated!! She sent us a few updates and said everything went well and Chewy was doing great! Some people may want more frequent updates, but personally we appreciated that she wasn’t sending us a million pictures every day lol. It was the right amount of updates to know he was ok while still enjoying our vacation when we couldn’t be on our phones all that much. Also, she even offered to pick him up and drop him off which made things so much easier for us with all the packing and crazy travel. Definitely recommend her and hope to book with her again the next time we go out of town!”

“Second time watching our sweet senior gal doodlebug and Melissa was amazing! She was very communicative and supportive as this was the longest my wife and I have been away from our pup. Will definitely be using her for our boarding needs!”

“Amany was absolutely incredible! She was able to accommodate us on very short notice, which was a lifesaver. From the moment we dropped off our two dogs, we felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. Amany provided consistent updates throughout the day, including photos and videos, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that our dogs were happy, well-cared for, and having a blast with her! Her attention to detail, love for animals, and excellent communication truly set her apart. We couldn't be happier with the experience, and we highly recommend Amany to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. We'll definitely be booking with her again!”
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.
“wonderful host! we felt very comfortable leaving our dogs at Mikayla’s house! we will definitely use her as a rover sitter for any of our dogs in the future. our dog was very comfortable and came home happy as usual<3”

“Stephanie is great with both of my little Pomeranians! Her and her family love on the dogs and they love going to her! She’s always responsive and sends me videos and pictures! I’ve come to depend on her anytime I need to go out of town without the dogs! I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m the proud owner of a 3-year-old high-energy Aussiedoodle named Arlo, so I’m very comfortable meeting the needs of active, intelligent dogs who thrive on routine, exercise, and attention. We spend our weekends hiking and exploring the outdoors, which has given me a strong appreciation for physical and mental enrichment for pets. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and set of needs, and I strive to provide patient, attentive, and reliable care so both pets and owners feel at ease. Whether it’s keeping up with daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. On weekdays, I work from 8–5 but live close enough to come home during my lunch break for potty breaks, walks, feeding check-ins, and some one-on-one time. Pets are never left alone all day and get consistent care throughout the day. Mornings and evenings include walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime at home. On weekends, my schedule is very flexible, which allows for longer walks, outdoor adventures, and extra attention. I’m especially comfortable caring for high-energy dogs and making sure they get the exercise and enrichment they need. I care for pets in my home just like I do my own dog — with lots of attention, routine, and love. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for meals, walks, and any special instructions, and make sure they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and downtime. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, including high-energy dogs. I work 8–5 on weekdays but come home at lunch for walks and check-ins, so pets aren’t left alone all day. On weekends, we enjoy longer walks, outdoor time, and a relaxed pace. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home while keeping owners updated and worry-free.
“Super happy with how our pup was treated! Wendy (Alice) did a fantastic job taking care of Minima, taking her for walks, and keeping in contact while we were away. She knows what she is doing!”

“Hannah was amazing! She took great care of our boy Cyrus. She was very good at communicating and sending pictures when we asked for updates. We felt very comfortable leaving our baby with her and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Brian! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. Because my home is a kid-free environment and I spend a lot of my time here, your pet will get plenty of focused attention, companionship, and love. I understand how hard it is to leave your pets, so I am committed to treating yours like family - providing a safe, comfortable, and fun home away from home. I’d love to chat and see if I’m the perfect fit for your pet! I work at WSU so it's a short commute each day, allowing me to spend more time at home. My weekday evenings are pretty quiet. I sometimes go out on the weekends but would be quite happy staying home if there is pet-sitting to do. I have a large fenced yard. I have a large linoleum dining and kitchen area that can easily be blocked off where messes are easy to clean up. I'm totally fine sharing my bed and furniture with a pet. It's a quiet, kid-free house well suited for even the most nervous dogs.
“Lily is AMAZING, I cannot praise her enough!! She is attentive, asked plenty of questions, and really did an amazing job caring for Penny. I was worried due recent health issues, but Lily never skipped a beat. I am so thankful to have found her, and can’t wait until the next stay!”

About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. I can provide drop-in visits before and after work, and on my lunch break, or I am happy to stay in your home, where I will care for your pet before and after my work day, and during my lunch break if that is most comfortable! UPDATE: I have moved to Lewiston, ID as of 7/31/2026. I still commute to work in Moscow, ID for the time being, but will be available in the mornings before work and evenings after. I am currently looking for a full-time remote job or position located in Lewiston. I will update this section once my employment situation changes! If your pet requires more frequent attention, I might be your gal for a weekend trip! On the weekends, I do not work and have lots of time to hang around with your pet(s)! :) At the moment I am not able to be boarding at my own address, and I am open to house-sitting after I have established a positive face-to-face relationship with each client. I will adhere to any and all established rules and routines for animals in their home to provide the most comfortable and safe experience that is possible.
“Shoshana was so kind to my dog and was very reliable. Her warmth and love of animals was very apparent from our first meeting. I was able to go away with complete peace of mind knowing that my dog was being so well cared for.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs, cats, and even farm animals, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. What sets me apart is that I take the time to get to know each pet as an individual. Every animal has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I believe they deserve care that's tailored specifically to them. I'm comfortable caring for puppies who need patience, consistency, and lots of play, as well as senior pets who benefit from a gentler pace, extra attention, and sticking to familiar routines. Beginning in late August through mid-December 2026, I'll be student teaching during the weekdays. During that time, I'm available for morning visits before school, afternoon and evening walks or drop-ins, overnight stays, and weekend care. My schedule is consistent and allows me to plan ahead, so I can provide dependable, reliable care around my teaching responsibilities. Before and after student teaching, I’ll work as a substitute and be much more available. I have a fenced yard and one personal dog. I am able to separate the dogs and provide your dog quality attention as often as desired.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pullman
Our dog stayed with Elena when we went out of town for six days and she took such great care of him. She took him on a lot of walks, and sent daily updates. I could tell she really cares about animals and our dog seemed so happy. She also noticed that he was scratching his ears a lot and gave us a recommendation on what to use for that. That was so helpful! I would definitely recommend her for your dog boarding and/or sitting needs.

Isabella was an amazing dog sitter. She watched my Aussie/border Collie for 5 days and made sure her high energy needs were met and kept in constant contact and giving updates on her! She’s super friendly, loves being with animals, and willing to work around your dog’s needs! She’ll be watching my dog anytime I can from now on!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
