The dogs were very comfortable with her, and she understood the needs of one who was a bit of a flight risk, and she made sure everyone was secure at all times. In all the photos she sent, the dogs looked very happy, and they got along very well with her dog. She was proactive in her communications and photos, which I appreciated. They had a good amount of play time, and they were in great spirits at pickup! Malia even provided a written summary of things I should know during their time with her and a little something at pickup. I will happily use Malia again when in town!”

About: I have been around several dogs since I was born! I have experience with dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to great danes. I am able to take care of senior pups and am able to do things such as administer meds. I also have experience with taking care of dogs in heat. I currently have my own cat at home who I provide care for everyday, she gets food in the morning and evenings and I clean her cat box at least once. day with a deep clean at least once a month. I like to make sure I always know where he/she is to make sure they are okay and/or not causing any mischief and If it is a drop in visit I make sure they have everything they need before my next visit. In regards to dog walking I like to make sure they pee and poop at least once on the walk and that the walk last enough time for them to stretch their legs and get some fresh air and exercise.

About: I have always been an animal person and from the recent loss of my old man in my profile picture I would love nothing more than to work with as many dogs as i can! I was my dogs primary caretaker for 10 years and he had special needs and I always made sure he was taken care of! I also volunteered at the kitsap humane society for 3 years in high school and this consisted of cleaning kennels, playing with animals, taking them on walks, etc. Along with my chihuahua/jack russell I took care of my other dog who was a Saint Bernard/chow chow so size is no worry for me!! I am in pullman for the rest of the month and am doing research that is very flexible! With a day or two notice I am pretty free :) At my home there are no other pets after my dog passed. Being in others homes I'm sure creates a lot of anxiety for the owners and i can sure i will treat your home with nothing but respect. Regarding pet attention your animals will never feel they don’t have enough attention as they will have all the love and kisses they could ever want!

About: I love all animals and treat them like my own, with love! I have experience with taking care of puppies and senior dogs. I can do whatever you need! ❤️ I just got hired for a part time job, I’m not sure what my schedule looks like just yet but when I find out I’ll edit this to my schedule preferences. ❤️ I currently live in an apartment complex with my boyfriend, there is a walking area for dogs as long as they’re on a leash. I always make sure to clean up after them as well. I make sure they get plenty of outside time and exercise! I love taking dogs on walkies!!! I make sure they are drinking water and eating their food! I keep a very clean apartment. If I were to take care of your pet in your home, I’d basically be doing the same thing I would do taking care of your pet in my home. I’d treat your home with love and respect! ❤️ I hope I worded that correctly.

“I really don’t like leaving my Henderson behind because it makes me sad and feel guilty when he doesn’t get to experience everything with me. But Amelia made me feel like he was having just as good of a time with her. The night before I was super anxious about leaving him behind, but she constantly gave me updates and sent me pictures and it made me feel really good the entire time. She took him on multiple walks a day, and was very flexible when I needed to change the drop off/pick up times. If I ever have to board Henderson again, I will 100% be contacting her again! About: I used to live with 2 cats owned by my host mum for a year. They are mostly quiet but we got along pretty well. Then I moved to a different city for college and the owner of the house owned a dog. I usually played with the dog and walked him on the weekends. I'm currently working full-time from Monday-Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm, but I am pretty much free after work and on the weekends. I can definitely take your pets on walk or play with your pets on the weekdays. I'm also available to take pets on boarding on the weekends! I prepare for their food and drinks daily. I have had different kinds of pets, dogs, cats, turtle, tortoise, fish, and hedgehog. Depending on the kinds of pets, I give them showers once a week and walk them as needed.

“I can confidently say that I found a sitter that I have wanted for a long time - someone who is responsible, caring, and responsive. I could easily tell that Amita and her family are good people who genuinely care about animals and dogs that visit for boarding. She sent me pictures of Teddy (my dog's name) every day with long messages on how he is doing, where he slept, and what he is up to at the moment. Also, one of the most important criteria for me was whether a sitter has enough space for Teddy to run around and enjoy time with a sitter and/or other dogs. Amita's place was HUGE with a fenced yard, and all of her dogs were extremely friendly, not only to people (as in me) but also to Teddy. I highly recommend Amita for those who have dogs that like playing with others, taking a walk, and swimming (Amita's place had a small pond where dogs could play). I have tried many dog sitters, whether on Rover or through friends. As much as I love my dog, I had so many instances in which I could easily notice red flags (e.g., Teddy coming back sick with his own diarrhea on his leg (meaning that the sitter did not even care to clean his legs), sending pictures for the first couple of days and going silent, not wanting to share the exact location of the boarding place, etc). Amita has been the best so far among many I have experienced! Highly recommend!”

In addition, I myself have two senior kitties as well as a kitten, and I often spend time when I go back home helping my family with their dogs. I have a second-level balcony that pets are allowed out on so long as they are supervised. In the warmer months, I keep a chair out there so that they can sunbathe easily.
