About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them. I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. Feeding all of my animals is a heavy part of that, and the best part. I start and finish my days making sure everyone is fed, loved, and happy, and if they are then it is a good day. Being able to take a lunch break to visit more animals is an added bonus that I will look forward to all day. I always make sure to specialize care to the animals themselves, and mimic how their own parents care for them. If an animal needs more frequent visits, longer visits, extra play time, medications, specialized meal plans or supervised meals I will always accommodate to the best of my ability. I will never leave an animal until they are satisfied with my service.

About: I really love dogs, have one of my own, and will always have at least one dog. As far as cats go, I grew up with one, and even though I don't have one now, I really care for these guys. I work mostly from home, doing business that is based on product reviews. It's the type of work where I am very flexible, so I can step out from time to time to take care of pets. I don't think I should have another pet in my home as my dog doesn't get along with other dogs, but I have recent experience taking care of pets in people's houses.

I love all animals and giving them the proper support each one needs. I have a job at a coffee shop I only work some weekends at for a few hours. I’m open to work around your pets schedule. About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and now that I have moved out I have a cat as well named Horchata. I also have experience taking care of rabbits and guinea pigs. Message me for my rabbit/guinea pig rate! Many family members rely on my expertise to watch their fur babies :) I am the Carmelita Spencer Foods Lab manager on campus which is a part time position and going to school full time but would really love to do something I’m passionate about on my off time like working with animals. My availability is open to anytime I am not at work. I am good at getting animals to listen and calm down if need be. I believe that animals are very in tune with tone and that is the main way they know if what they are doing is good or bad.

About: I’ve taken care of a good amount of breeds from huskies to chihuahuas. I have loved every single one that it melts my heart every time i see them. I have a dog of my own and she’s a sassy silly lazy girl. I enjoy cuddling with dogs and just having fun with them. Going on walks, playing with toys, watching a movie and going through a roller coaster of emotions, i can do a lot with dogs! i can also ensure that i will provide as much goofy photos of possible if wanted (i will be taking because its funny and brings up the vibes) I work super early so I’m available for majority of the day. I’ll leave at the crack of the morning and come back in the morning still! i’m able to take all dogs out for a potty break in between work as well and just give them attention if that’s all they need! I treat my pets like my fur babies. they are my children so i talk to them as if i have teenage kids going through their moody phase. with other people’s dogs i can present my self calmly or energized depending on what they need. i love including them in everything if they want. like if they want to help me fold laundry, cook, clean, or just watch a movie then we are all doing it as a group.

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals, including reptiles, cats, and all kinds of dogs! I am well-equipped to handle pets with medical needs, with a specialty in caring for pets with Addison's disease. I will treat your pet right no matter their age; I have worked with elderly pets and with very young pets alike with great success. I'm currently fully available to care for your pets as much as you'd like! Pet care is currently my first priority and I can visit or stay with pets as frequently and as long as you may need. I am very mindful of the health of the pets I care for, especially now that we are in the summer months and heat has become a danger. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.
