About: I had my own dog for 10 years before he passed. I occasionally foster for the Whitman county humane society so I have experience taking care of puppies and older dogs, as well as those who need medications. My availability is currently wide open and I would love to spend my time helping other people take care of their furry loved ones! I also have experience with different forms of leashes (i.e. gentle leaders, harnesses, etc.). I understand the importance of repetition for dogs and will do my best to keep to your schedules and the way you do things. Please let me know how I can help you and your pet! :) I am currently in between jobs at the moment so my schedule is wide open for the time being but will keep my calendar updated I live in a smaller apartment so it would be best for only dog at my place at a time. Will follow any rules in place for time spent at the client’s home.

About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and now that I have moved out I have a cat as well named Horchata. I also have experience taking care of rabbits and guinea pigs. Message me for my rabbit/guinea pig rate! Many family members rely on my expertise to watch their fur babies :) I am the Carmelita Spencer Foods Lab manager on campus which is a part time position and going to school full time but would really love to do something I’m passionate about on my off time like working with animals. My availability is open to anytime I am not at work. I am good at getting animals to listen and calm down if need be. I believe that animals are very in tune with tone and that is the main way they know if what they are doing is good or bad.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds in my home. While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. I have a pretty open schedule, single mom to a couple of boys and pet mom to one sweet cat. I love snuggling any animal. So I live in an apartment but very frequently go out to trails and parks with my kids, I would have no problem including your pet!

About: I have had animals my whole life and grew up on a farm. I’ve house sat and pet sat for family friends since I was a little girl. I love all animals and giving them the proper support each one needs. I have a job at a coffee shop I only work some weekends at for a few hours. I’m open to work around your pets schedule. I don’t have a fenced yard and would prefer not to bring pets in my own home. I have pets at my own house and would prefer not to mix them.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: I’ve taken care of a good amount of breeds from huskies to chihuahuas. I have loved every single one that it melts my heart every time i see them. I have a dog of my own and she’s a sassy silly lazy girl. I enjoy cuddling with dogs and just having fun with them. Going on walks, playing with toys, watching a movie and going through a roller coaster of emotions, i can do a lot with dogs! i can also ensure that i will provide as much goofy photos of possible if wanted (i will be taking because its funny and brings up the vibes) I work super early so I’m available for majority of the day. I’ll leave at the crack of the morning and come back in the morning still! i’m able to take all dogs out for a potty break in between work as well and just give them attention if that’s all they need! I treat my pets like my fur babies. they are my children so i talk to them as if i have teenage kids going through their moody phase. with other people’s dogs i can present my self calmly or energized depending on what they need. i love including them in everything if they want. like if they want to help me fold laundry, cook, clean, or just watch a movie then we are all doing it as a group.

About: I also constantly grew up with dogs in my life, small, big, old and young. I understand how to wear them out with every trick in the game I am a full time student but mainly taking online credits, most the time hanging out with animals is my joy, not a job or task. I live in an apartment and will not be hosting animals in my home. I would absolutely love too but with my situation I cannot.

About: I’ve loved and worked with dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up around them taught me how to understand their needs, personalities, and behaviors from an early age. I especially enjoy walking dogs and helping with basic training, whether that’s reinforcing good leash habits or teaching simple commands. Now that I’m in college, I don’t get to spend as much time with dogs as I’d like—so being on Rover is the perfect way for me to do what I love while making pets happy and cared for. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy building trust with each dog I meet. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, exercised, and loved when you're not there. I'm currently a college student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am free almost all day aside from the mornings; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free in the late afternoon and evening. While I can’t have pets right now as a college student, I grew up on a farm where our dogs were exercised daily, brought inside, and crated at night. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your dog’s usual schedule closely—making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and a calm, secure environment so they feel comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have owned pets my entire life including dogs, cats, chickens, and hamsters! At the moment, my family has 2 dogs and a cat that I help care for when I am home from school. I eventually want to get my own dog, but for now I would love to help you take care of your pets when you’re unable to! please reach out!!! I’m currently working full time in a cafe in bellevue. My days off are sunday and monday so I am available anytime on this days. For the rest of the week, I get off work around 6:30. At home, i let my dogs outside and take them on walks! I also feed my dogs and cat in the morning and spend time with them in the house when im home or outside if the weather is nice!

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.

About: I have had countless house/petsitting duties since i was 12 years old. Friends, neighbors, family, and mutuals have all used me for reliable, quality animal care. Along with my personal gigs, I also have 4 years of experience working in a dog daycare/boarding facility, including running it while my boss is out of town. In my experience, I’ve taken care of young, old, scaled, feathered, tiny, huge…I’m confident I’ll be a fantastic caretaker for your furry companion(s). I am a 3rd year student at WSU. I have no other responsibilities besides lectures/labs, so all my free time will go to your pets, and I’m happy to discuss my schedule with clients upon meeting. Whatever your schedule is with your fur babies, I will do my best to imitate it. I will follow whatever instructions go along with your animal’s normal day-to-day routine.
