About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

About: I am currently a veterinary student at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. I have a strong background in pet care and have been providing services in the Palouse area since my freshman year of undergrad at University of Idaho. I have a strong interest in companion animal medicine, meaning I love dogs and cats! As I continue my education and pursue my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, I would love to put my skills to use and care for your pets! About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and now that I have moved out I have a cat as well named Horchata. Many family members rely on my expertise to watch their fur babies :) I am the Carmelita Spencer Foods Lab manager on campus which is a part time position and going to school full time but would really love to do something I’m passionate about on my off time like working with animals. My availability is open to anytime I am not at work. I am good at getting animals to listen and calm down if need be. I believe that animals are very in tune with tone and that is the main way they know if what they are doing is good or bad.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals since I was young. Anything from guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, etc. My family has had a variety of dogs, so I have extensive experience in caring for dogs of all ages. I have taken care of senior dogs with special care required regarding seizures and numerous medications. I’ve also assisted in training for younger dogs for basic tricks and potty training. I’m currently a PhD student, so I’m on campus around half the week! Weekends are very open/flexible for me, and I’m also available in the mornings/mid-day/nights. About: Hi I’m Erin, I will be the one to give your pet plenty of love and walks whenever they need it! I will be able to pet sit when you want to have a weekend get away or drop in visits to check on your pets. Throughout my 18 years I have been raised around all types of different animals from the smallest to the largest. Such as tiny mice and guinea pigs to horses and cows. I have my own two dogs an a horse while my parents still have a little farm. I have pet sat for others before and absolutely loved it! I am a college student and will be working part time but I don’t have to many classes and will have multiple breaks for to walk or check your pets! I have a flexible schedule so finding openings that fit work best. It fits in-between classes and time when I’m not doing anything on the weekends or when I don’t have class. I was the lucky human to a wonderful pup named Georgia O'Keeffe for the last 12 years and unfortunately had to put her down in January 2026; please let me spoil your dog in honor of my best babe! About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds in my home. While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. About: I have been taking care of pets for about 3 years for my family and friends. I mainly take care of any type of dog, and I mainly stay at my friends’ houses if needed, but i have also had pets stay with me as well. I am currently working a part time job on the weekends, and I go to high school Monday-Thursday from 7:30-3:00. When I am watching a pet and not staying the night, I make sure to at least visit 3 times a day to let out and feed the animals I take care of. I have a line that goes around my back yard, and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at my house. My cats are outdoor and indoor cats, and my dogs are indoor and very friendly.

About: I’m a Pre-Veterinary Animal Science major with lifelong experience caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior animals. I’ve owned pets my whole life and also volunteer at my local humane society, where I help care for animals and take dogs on daily walks. About: I’ve been taking care of animals for almost my whole life, and have been doing so for others since I was 14. Whether it be a quiet old cat or a litter of 8 talkative puppies, I’ve found joy in spending time with all kinds of animals. I am incredibly accommodating for all types of care instructions, so don’t worry—whatever your beloved companions’ needs are, they are never too much. You know what is best for them, and I make it a point to do my very best to meet and exceed those needs. I truly do love taking care and spending time with all sorts of animals, and I would absolutely love to meet yours! :) At the moment, my work schedule is quite accommodating, and does not take up more of my week than necessary! The longest I would be gone for would be 5 hours at the most (thanks to a lunch break!), so I would love to spend time with your pets anytime. :) I will be very attentive and precise in following the owner’s instructions for the care of their pet, especially in the client’s home. Specific feeding schedule and amount, walks, bathroom breaks, and play time are all factors that I take into account and expect to vary between animals, and will adjust care accordingly! If overnight care is preferred, I also firmly believe in washing any sheets that were used and leaving the home in a clean, tidy state upon the client’s return.

About: I have 3 dogs; before them, we had 2 cats. I’ve trained one service dog, 2 therapy dogs, and I was able to shave my Norwegian Forest Cats at home. I’ve had a dog almost my entire life, and clip their nails myself. I helped a breeder for a few years: with births and socializing the puppies. Most importantly, I just love dogs and cats. They always gravitate to me in a room. I have 5 dog training classes and multiple books on dog training and behavior in my repertoire. I am happy to teach private lessons or classes for you and your dog. Any age can learn new things! I free-lance from home, so I’m available more days than just the weekends. I can’t do earlier than 11am, but I can do later in the evening than some. I will follow your directions on care for your pets. It’s important to me, with my pets, that my directions are followed; so, I will do the same for you. So you don’t have to worry. I understand that each pet has their own needs. For example, I have to leash my golden to take her potty or she eats poop. Two of my dogs need specific meds at differing schedules. Because this is my daily life, it’s easy for me to follow directions to care for your pets. Give me written directions and they will be followed to a T. I know that it’s a matter of safety and health for your pet.
