About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m the proud owner of a 3-year-old high-energy Aussiedoodle named Arlo, so I’m very comfortable meeting the needs of active, intelligent dogs who thrive on routine, exercise, and attention. We spend our weekends hiking and exploring the outdoors, which has given me a strong appreciation for physical and mental enrichment for pets. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and set of needs, and I strive to provide patient, attentive, and reliable care so both pets and owners feel at ease. On weekdays, I work from 8–5 but live close enough to come home during my lunch break for potty breaks, walks, feeding check-ins, and some one-on-one time. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. I always make sure to specialize care to the animals themselves, and mimic how their own parents care for them. About: My experience with dogs has ranged from personal ownership: (raised with two mixed breeds, and owned a WHIPPET for fourteen years), to boarding dogs, to working at a doggie daycare, and working for a dog walking company. I mainly take care of any type of dog, and I mainly stay at my friends’ houses if needed, but i have also had pets stay with me as well. About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and now that I have moved out I have a cat as well named Horchata. I also have experience taking care of rabbits and guinea pigs. About: I have experience working with other people's dogs as well as my own in a variety of settings. I've had dogs since I was young, and have about 10 years of experience dog-sitting, walking, and training. All throughout junior high, high school, and college, I have offered dog-sitting services for neighbors and friends. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. I can provide drop-in visits before and after work, and on my lunch break, or I am happy to stay in your home, where I will care for your pet before and after my work day, and during my lunch break if that is most comfortable! UPDATE: I have moved to Lewiston, ID as of 7/31/2026. I still commute to work in Moscow, ID for the time being, but will be available in the mornings before work and evenings after. I am currently looking for a full-time remote job or position located in Lewiston. I will update this section once my employment situation changes! If your pet requires more frequent attention, I might be your gal for a weekend trip! On the weekends, I do not work and have lots of time to hang around with your pet(s)! :) At the moment I am not able to be boarding at my own address, and I am open to house-sitting after I have established a positive face-to-face relationship with each client.
