“This was the first time I had my puppy stay with Brandi and she was amazing! She was very accommodating of the needs of my puppy and made her feel as comfortable as possible. She sent pictures and updates and responded very quick. She even worked on using the commands we have been training Esme with.”

“Courtney was an amazing dog-sitter who went out of her way to give both our senior dog and puppy a very happy and comfortable experience. She was very observant and conscientious about checking in with us about everything, sent us photos, and she and her children offered our dogs a warm and welcoming family experience.”

About: I have loved and adored dogs since I was able to walk on my own. I have owned a large number of dogs over the years. My wife and I currently own a Brittany, a Golden Collie, and an old herding dog. My dogs enjoy a huge fenced back yard while also having 12 acres to run around and burn energy. I am a caretaker of my father in law and am at home during the day. I own three dogs that love socializing and meeting new friends I live on 12 acres can walk and play with your dogs. I have several dog crates for evening sleeping if needed (larger breeds may need to provide their own). Access to water to play in, drinking water, treats and training time. I am happy to provide the love your fur babies deserve while you enjoy your vacation!
“I was nervous about boarding my fur babies (3 of them) but Stephanie was so sweet with them as soon as we got to her house. Her home is set up for your four legged family. She sent video of them and let me know they were adjusting well. We will definitely be asking her to board our four legged babies the next time we go out of town and can't take them with us!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.
“Super happy with how our pup was treated! Wendy (Alice) did a fantastic job taking care of Minima, taking her for walks, and keeping in contact while we were away. She knows what she is doing!”

“Ashley did an absolutely fabulous job taking care of my sweet corgi girl nala while I was on vacation! It was my first time leaving her at someone else’s house for that long & ashley made me feel so comfortable with the process & I knew my sweetie would be taken care of to the fullest! She sent pics & chatted with me every day thru out the week & checked in with me on any changes ahead of time. 10000% recommend her & her boarding services, dog walking, etc.!!!!”

“Lily is AMAZING, I cannot praise her enough!! She is attentive, asked plenty of questions, and really did an amazing job caring for Penny. I was worried due recent health issues, but Lily never skipped a beat. I am so thankful to have found her, and can’t wait until the next stay!”

“Leaving our dog with Mikayla was incredibly successful! He’s a Labrador and very attached to people. He really needed a family that was available to give him lots of time and attention. Mikayla was great about sending us updates and we do much appreciate Mikayla and her family! Overall, a tremendous experience!”

“Hannah was amazing! She took great care of our boy Cyrus. She was very good at communicating and sending pictures when we asked for updates. We felt very comfortable leaving our baby with her and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Amany was amazing! She was so flexible, as she agreed to a last minute booking with my pup. She also responded quickly and answered all my questions. My pup was so spoiled during the stay. He went shopping and was definitely part of the family during the stay. He was so tired from all the play time and extra attention, he fell asleep in the car on the way home. I will definitely use Amany again!”

“Alexandra asked a lot of questions to make sure our dog, Fergus, was well cared for. She sent updates/photos/videos. She was also very mindful about him not eating any toys. Finally, she accommodated a drop off to another sitter because of an extended trip abroad on our end.”

About: Hi, I’m Brian! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. Because my home is a kid-free environment and I spend a lot of my time here, your pet will get plenty of focused attention, companionship, and love. I understand how hard it is to leave your pets, so I am committed to treating yours like family - providing a safe, comfortable, and fun home away from home. I’d love to chat and see if I’m the perfect fit for your pet! I work at WSU so it's a short commute each day, allowing me to spend more time at home. My weekday evenings are pretty quiet. I sometimes go out on the weekends but would be quite happy staying home if there is pet-sitting to do. I have a large fenced yard. I have a large linoleum dining and kitchen area that can easily be blocked off where messes are easy to clean up. I'm totally fine sharing my bed and furniture with a pet. It's a quiet, kid-free house well suited for even the most nervous dogs.
About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. I can provide drop-in visits before and after work, and on my lunch break, or I am happy to stay in your home, where I will care for your pet before and after my work day, and during my lunch break if that is most comfortable! UPDATE: I have moved to Lewiston, ID as of 7/31/2026. I still commute to work in Moscow, ID for the time being, but will be available in the mornings before work and evenings after. I am currently looking for a full-time remote job or position located in Lewiston. I will update this section once my employment situation changes! If your pet requires more frequent attention, I might be your gal for a weekend trip! On the weekends, I do not work and have lots of time to hang around with your pet(s)! :) At the moment I am not able to be boarding at my own address, and I am open to house-sitting after I have established a positive face-to-face relationship with each client. I will adhere to any and all established rules and routines for animals in their home to provide the most comfortable and safe experience that is possible.
“Shoshana was so kind to my dog and was very reliable. Her warmth and love of animals was very apparent from our first meeting. I was able to go away with complete peace of mind knowing that my dog was being so well cared for.”

“Incredible as always! Able to travel for work without any worry or anxiety about my sweet cats. Able to enjoy being in the moment while knowing they’re well loved while away.”

“Katherine took great care of our two cats! She’s also a very talented photographer and we’ll be saving many of the daily photos she sent because they’re so artfully done. We will definitely reach out to her again next time we need a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve loved and worked with dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up around them taught me how to understand their needs, personalities, and behaviors from an early age. I especially enjoy walking dogs and helping with basic training, whether that’s reinforcing good leash habits or teaching simple commands. Now that I’m in college, I don’t get to spend as much time with dogs as I’d like—so being on Rover is the perfect way for me to do what I love while making pets happy and cared for. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy building trust with each dog I meet. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, exercised, and loved when you're not there. I'm currently a college student, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I am free almost all day aside from the mornings; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I am free in the late afternoon and evening. While I can’t have pets right now as a college student, I grew up on a farm where our dogs were exercised daily, brought inside, and crated at night. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll follow your dog’s usual schedule closely—making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and a calm, secure environment so they feel comfortable while you’re away.
“Peyton was just awesome with our 2 cats! The one that is really hesitant around people took a real shine to her. She did everything awesome and we were so glad to have her watch our boys”

“Aspen followed all of my care instructions, was timely for all visits, and sent me plenty of adorable pictures. Really appreciate the time spent understanding Elsie’s needs and adjusting as needed. Definitely rebooking in the future!”

About: I will accept any type of animal as long as information about how to care for it is given. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for about 6 years now. I can walk your dog as many miles as you need. If asked, I can also house sit which would include taking out the trash, bringing in the mail, cleaning, and checking on everything that you would need. I am CPR certified for both cats and dogs. I hope to meet your fur baby soon, thanks! I’m a student, so besides going to classes, all of my free time will be available for animals! I can do daily check ins if necessary as well. I like to follow the routine of the animal in their house. If you tell me what their usual is, I’ll follow it! I take lots of pictures and make sure to update the parents as much as possible so they are at ease knowing their fur babies are okay!

“Best sitter for my two cats! Kaelyn did a great job communicating, keeping us updated, was very kind, and while we had a bit of a process for her regarding our cats, she did a great job following directions and taking care of everything. Would love to hire her again :)”

About: I’ve had years of experience since I was young taking care of stray cats (adults to kittens), and I have two cats of my own. I’m well versed in cleaning litter boxes, fountains, etc, and I have a lot of experience with wary cats that take awhile to warm up!

“Sara is amazing! She takes her sitting seriously and loves my cats like her own. I’ve booked with her for both drop-in and overnights. She’s on-time, her communication is fantastic and I feel confident in leaving my cats and home in her meticulous care. I’m sure my cats love her as they wind around her legs immediately every time she comes over. Book with Sara today, you and your cats will not regret it!”

About: Since I was young, I've participated in 4-H. During that time, I learned how to care for many animals such as sheep, horses, chickens, cats, and dogs. I'm happy to adjust my care style to fit individual pets as needed.
“Chelsea was incredible. Due to a medical emergency, we needed a long term sitter at short notice. Chelsea stepped up to the plate, came to the house to collect my two cats and took great care of them for a full six weeks. She stayed in touch with pictures and updates. We are so grateful for her help and support!”

I am super flexible and super easy to contact. I have a fenced off one acre years for any pet to enjoy and play with my black lab. I have room for a kennel and also have a kennel if needed.

“Brandi was amazing. We used her for daycare while in town for a conference. She loves dogs and it shows. My little mini doxie had never met her before and loved her. He was very excited to go play everyday. Augie was well cared for and I was updated multiple times a day with pictures. Highly recommend. I wish she lived closer to me so that I could use her services regularly.”

About: My experience with dogs has ranged from personal ownership: (raised with two mixed breeds, and owned a WHIPPET for fourteen years), to boarding dogs, to working at a doggie daycare, and working for a dog walking company. Currently I am a stay at home mom to three kids- so I am home most of the time, including weekends. If I do step out, for errands, appointments, and such, I will absolutely make sure your pet has had enough walks/potty breaks. We have a fenced yard, and a great neighborhood for walking. My family, and I will work consistently to make sure your pooch feels comfortable, and loved. That said, for safety reasons I choose not to share photos of my kids on my profile page- regardless, they are great with dogs! My time is flexible in that I can work around my families schedule to provide boarding for your pet(s). We look forward to meeting you/them! I can provide care for your dog(s), by following the schedule you have set for them. I love walking, and playing fetch with dogs! My kids especially love helping out with fetch. 😊 Pet care works easily with my daily, and weekly schedule, because I am a stay at home mom, and therefore home most of the time. In my home pets will be taken care of first and foremost with lots of love, (pets/snuggles). Secondly, pets will be taken care of by administering their daily needs of food, water, snacks, (if they have any), and meds, (if they have any).
About: I have had pets since I was born, and from age 5 I started to help withtheir care. I have always had a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, etc. I may not be a professional, however, I believe I am pretty knowledgeable about cats and dogs, their care, and some training. 3rd year in college, studying mathematics at WSU. I have had pets all my life back home and I loved them all sooo much. I am free most of days of the week in between my classes, good for drop ins and dog walks :) Lots of play, cuddle, excercise and attention. What ever the pet needs and wants, I try my best to fullfil. If they need to let out energy, let them play in the yard, if they need alone time, let them nap, etc. Lots of toys and enrichment activities, and lots of love.
“Mikayla is wonderful! Kind, communicative, and flexible. Sassy had a great time and Mikayla sent many pictures and updates. I’m so grateful for her care of Sassy! We will return :)”

“Stephanie did an awesome job with my dog. Definitely trust her again when I come back to town for work next time. She sent some photos mid day and a message letting me know how it was going. Couldn’t ask for anything more, you can tell she has a passion for pets. Thank you.”

“Alice takes such great care of my little guy! He absolutely loves coming to her house and she is so attentive to his needs and communicative. I can’t say enough good things about Alice and her pups!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities for as long as I can remember. Friends, family and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide plenty of love to their pets, as well as working at the local animal shelter for a period of time. Whether it’s energetic puppies, mellow senior dogs or those with special needs. I understand that every dog has their own routine and personality and I pride myself on giving them the same care and attention they’d get from you. My goal is to keep tails wagging, paws happy, and pet parents worry free while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pets happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away, whether that means long walks, snuggle time, or play sessions in the yard. I have my own dogs and 2 cats so I’ve got the routine down pretty well. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have an unfenced yard and two friendly, well-socialized dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed and will follow any routines or rules you provide to ensure consistency. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and strive for providing a safe, fun, and loving environment where they can relax and feel at home. I have two kiddos that are all about running the energy off as well so between them and the pets nobody is ever unattended outside.

“Shoshana and her family were great. They sent pictures and reports that made us feel that Keeper was being well cared for. However, Keeper seemed nervous around the children and we think a household without children would be better for him.”

“He came to our first meeting with thoughtful questions about my dog's needs, energy level, and routine, which immediately told me he takes this seriously. My dog is very high energy, and he handles him like a pro every single time. What really sets him apart is how communicative he is! He sends tons of photos every visit and always keeps me in the loop. I never have to wonder how the walk went. He's also always on time, which matters more than people realize when you're counting on someone. I'd recommend him to anyone, but especially if you have a dog that needs more than just a quick lap around the block.”

About: I also constantly grew up with dogs in my life, small, big, old and young. I understand how to wear them out with every trick in the game I am a full time student but mainly taking online credits, most the time hanging out with animals is my joy, not a job or task. I live in an apartment and will not be hosting animals in my home. I would absolutely love too but with my situation I cannot.
About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds in my home. While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. I have a pretty open schedule, single mom to a couple of boys and pet mom to one sweet cat. I love snuggling any animal. So I live in an apartment but very frequently go out to trails and parks with my kids, I would have no problem including your pet!
About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and now that I have moved out I have a cat as well named Horchata. I also have experience taking care of rabbits and guinea pigs. Message me for my rabbit/guinea pig rate! Many family members rely on my expertise to watch their fur babies :) I am the Carmelita Spencer Foods Lab manager on campus which is a part time position and going to school full time but would really love to do something I’m passionate about on my off time like working with animals. My availability is open to anytime I am not at work. I am good at getting animals to listen and calm down if need be. I believe that animals are very in tune with tone and that is the main way they know if what they are doing is good or bad.

About: I have experience working with other people's dogs as well as my own in a variety of settings. I've had dogs since I was young, and have about 10 years of experience dog-sitting, walking, and training. All throughout junior high, high school, and college, I have offered dog-sitting services for neighbors and friends. I have cared for and trained my own dogs since they were pups - training and showing them in 4-H and AKC events. I also train and care for sled dogs. I have worked in veterinary clinics as an assistant in high school and college, and am currently a second-year vet student. I am comfortable giving medications, training puppies, and walking large dogs/dogs that pull a lot :) I am currently attending veterinary school, so I am available mostly on weekends! I will also potentially be available on some weekdays during holiday breaks! I am an animal-lover and have worked with a variety of different dog breeds and personalities :) I have learned that patience and gentleness are key. You and your animal always come first!
About: I have been taking care of pets for about 3 years for my family and friends. I mainly take care of any type of dog, and I mainly stay at my friends’ houses if needed, but i have also had pets stay with me as well. I am currently a college student and will be in Coeur d Alene for the summer time (May-August) and in Moscow during the school year (August-May). During the breaks I will also be back in Coeur d Alene, so I love to help out whenever I can! I have a line that goes around my back yard, and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at my house. My cats are outdoor and indoor cats, and my dogs are indoor and very friendly.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Understanding a dogs personality and being respectful of their space is always important to learn to establish a connection with a dog. Adapting to their routine makes for an easy transition for both dog and owner. I enjoy caring for dogs and getting to know them, there’s nothing greater then having a dog by your side. DISCLAIMER!! (I WILL BE LEAVING FOR SCHOOL AUG 20th) I am more compatible with pets who can go a few hours without supervision. Currently I am home for break from college and have most of my schedule free. In the summer when I come back to Boise I work a part time job. So being able to leave for a few hours works the best for me. When taking care of someone else’s pet I always ask as many questions as possible, based on both the pet and owner. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. I am being trusted with someone’s beloved pet and want to make sure it’s easy for both parties. I have a chiwinne named Dash who is my pride and joy. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.
“Awesome first walk! Kaelyn was very attentive to the puppers and their needs and patient with their quirks. My female dog was comfortable and even showed her belly for pats after, which she doesn’t always do with new people! Very much looking forward to having K be part of our regular routine!”

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals since I was young. Anything from guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, etc. My family has had a variety of dogs, so I have extensive experience in caring for dogs of all ages. I have taken care of senior dogs with special care required regarding seizures and numerous medications. I’ve also assisted in training for younger dogs for basic tricks and potty training. I’m currently a PhD student, so I’m on campus around half the week! Weekends are very open/flexible for me, and I’m also available in the mornings/mid-day/nights. I would generally keep pets separate from my own, aside from other cats. They’d have their own space to decompress, but they would still receive lots of love!

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs, cats, and even farm animals, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. What sets me apart is that I take the time to get to know each pet as an individual. Every animal has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I believe they deserve care that's tailored specifically to them. I'm comfortable caring for puppies who need patience, consistency, and lots of play, as well as senior pets who benefit from a gentler pace, extra attention, and sticking to familiar routines. Whether your pet loves long walks, interactive play, quiet companionship, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. I'm attentive to detail, reliable, and committed to following your pet's routine exactly as instructed (including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special care needs). My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and stress-free while giving you complete peace of mind through dependable communication and thoughtful care. Beginning in late August through mid-December 2026, I'll be student teaching during the weekdays. During that time, I'm available for morning visits before school, afternoon and evening walks or drop-ins, overnight stays, and weekend care. My schedule is consistent and allows me to plan ahead, so I can provide dependable, reliable care around my teaching responsibilities. Before and after student teaching, I’ll work as a substitute and be much more available. I have a fenced yard and one personal dog. I am able to separate the dogs and provide your dog quality attention as often as desired.
