“Came home to extremely happy and healthy cats! One of my cats needs an oral medication and I’m so relieved that that isn’t something I need to worry about when I’m out of town. So grateful for Chayce!”

“Corra was great! She checked in on my cat and made sure she had everything she needed while I was away. She played with her and sent me the cutest pictures! I would rebook with Corra again.”

“Had to leave my 8 month old puppy and 13.5 yr old for the day. I expected a couple of stressed out yup dogs and what I came home to were mellow happy boys. She even watered my plants! Highly recommend Peyton.”

About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs throughout my life. Low energy dogs, high energy dogs, big dogs, small dogs, indoor and outdoor cats as well! I also have training for handling and caring for other types of animals as well like reptiles and fish. Though I am new to the pet-sitting experience, I am adaptable and have life experience that I can apply to any situation. I have a very flexible schedule for the summer, and am a local student at the University of Idaho. My afternoons and evenings are free and I can work with whatever schedule you require! I have experience with very active and very sedentary animals.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals since I was young. Anything from guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, etc. My family has had a variety of dogs, so I have extensive experience in caring for dogs of all ages. I have taken care of senior dogs with special care required regarding seizures and numerous medications. I’ve also assisted in training for younger dogs for basic tricks and potty training. I’m currently a PhD student, so I’m on campus around half the week! Weekends are very open/flexible for me, and I’m also available in the mornings/mid-day/nights. I would generally keep pets separate from my own, aside from other cats. They’d have their own space to decompress, but they would still receive lots of love!
About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds in my home. While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. I have a pretty open schedule, single mom to a couple of boys and pet mom to one sweet cat. I love snuggling any animal. So I live in an apartment but very frequently go out to trails and parks with my kids, I would have no problem including your pet!
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs ever since I was a young girl. Nieghbor’s, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and simply give their pet attention. I have had pet my entire life and have loved every single one. I have dog sat many of my neighbors and family friends dogs and cats, if it’s just letting them out to go to the bathroom or staying with them the entire week. Being there when a pet is in need is something I can always do. I just graduated so I have tons of free time to take pets on walks, pet sit, and play with. I am super flexible and super easy to contact. I have a fenced off one acre years for any pet to enjoy and play with my black lab. I have room for a kennel and also have a kennel if needed.
“Emily was amazing with Archie and he even listened to her! (He doesn't even listen to me most of the time lol) he was tired after playing with her outside! Will be booking again! Emily was also very flexible for whatever I needed for this worried dog mom of a high anxiety dog 🐶 😅. Only in town temporarily for a wedding so I needed someone reliable fast! Very professional as well!”

“Hera did an amazing job checking on our cats while we were away, she was super communicative and we felt confident that they were in good hands with her. She gave them lots of attention and even got our more shy one to come out of her shell. We could definitely tell by their mood when we got back that they were well taken care of!”

In the client's home, I will care for the pets the way the owner wants their pets to be taken care of and any other requests they may need. I'm currently working full-time/part-time at a restaurant in Moscow. I don't work full 8 hour shifts but my out time is not always set in stone because of business. I normally work between 9:45am - 2:30ish pm and 4pm - 10:30pm depending on the shift I have. I've also have worked doubles in the past. Right now I have Sunday and Mondays off. About: I am that lady who will cross a busy street just to pet your dog. I am moving on to Rover in an attempt to broaden my current client base of dog walking and house/pet sitting clients. I understand the need for a dog to wander, smelling each tree and finding new routes. I have been around dogs my entire life and have an automatic caretaking demeanor when faced with a furry lil friend. I was the lucky human to a wonderful pup named Georgia O'Keeffe for the last 12 years and unfortunately had to put her down in January 2026; please let me spoil your dog in honor of my best babe! My schedule is very flexible and I have a reliable car to get me there. Right now dog walking and sitting blend seamlessly around my other work. Pets communicate through their own signals, telling us what they need. It's up to me to get to know your pet by learning their behaviors and patterns. That way I can make sure they are getting the best care available. To me, this is not a hobby or side job to make some extra cash; I take animal care very seriously and have made it my profession so that I can spend my days pouring my love and energy into the animals around me.
“I will absolutely book with Tiana again! We did a two week trip out of the country and I was really nervous to leave my cats. She was so so nice and helped make everything a smooth process. My cats normally hate strangers but they opened up to her very quickly and loved her! She sent me loads of cute and funny pictures of my kitties, which definitely helped with the anxiety of leaving them! Overall, she listened to the instructions I left to a T, was very communicative with me, and made the trip very comfortable for me and the kitties. 10/10!!!!”

“Jessica was wonderful to have as my cat sitter while I was out of town. All instructions were followed and she kept me posted throughout the entire process. 5/5 would recommend to anyone needing pet sitting.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Moscow
We love having Anaïs watch our cats. She’s super responsive, our cats love her and she takes care to not only take care of the physical needs but also plays with them and connects so they feel totally secure while we’re gone. She is very reliable and we recommend her highly!

Maia was extremely sweet and made sure that our kitty, Cinder, was well cared for. She provided quality care and play, and sent us frequent updates with photos and the occasional video. She was communicative with us, and we could tell that Cinder who struggles with separation anxiety, did a lot better than she normally does when we're gone for a while. Thanks Maia! <3

Joy is a wonderful pet sitter!!! I was gone for 10 days and she sat with my cat. She not only sat with my cat she washed the towels and bedding that she used!!! Not something I’m used to in a cat sitter. She was also very informative!! I’d use her again!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
