Availability
Unfortunately, my schedule with veterinary school is more dense and high-demand than it has been in years prior. As such, I am only offering lunchtime visits to Pullman residents, and Late Afternoon/Evening visits to both Pullman and Moscow residents. Morning visits may be available depending on the week's workload and schedule. I will do my best to work with you to find the right schedule for both of us!

Safety, trust & environment
I try my hardest to provide the highest quality care possible for your companion. I require a meet-and-greet to ensure your pet gets along with me well, and to talk face-to-face with you! My relationship with both you and your pet is very important to me in order to build trust.
Information Kaelyn P. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know any information about your pet that you deem important, including allergies, medications, preferences, and likes/dislikes. Each animal is an individual, and getting to know them is very fulfilling to me.
A typical day
Well-being and trust-building is important to me! I am very patient with my furry clients. If your pet is shy, I will not badger them into spending time with me. I will give them the necessary time and space while meeting their needs. However, if your animal is happy to play with me, I will go all out! I make my own fleece tied tug ropes for my canine friends, and hand tie snuffle mats for any species! I love thinking of new, creative ways to pique my furry clients' interest and excitement.

Pet care experience
I am currently a veterinary student at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. I have a strong background in pet care and have been providing services in the Palouse area since my freshman year of undergrad at University of Idaho. I have a strong interest in companion animal medicine, meaning I love dogs and cats! As I continue my education and pursue my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, I would love to put my skills to use and care for your pets! Although petsitting is a different art than veterinary medicine, I have a strong belief that my continuing experience working with my petsitting clients will provide an excellent foundation for vet-client communication in the future! I try my absolute hardest to maintain your routine for your furry friend to minimize stress, and follow any instructions or preferences to a T. My goal is always to provide gold-standard, excellent care, and peace of mind while you are away from home.

Reviews
Great with our dogs.

Kaelyn took fantastic care of our pups and our home while we were away!

Awesome first walk! Kaelyn was very attentive to the puppers and their needs and patient with their quirks. My female dog was comfortable and even showed her belly for pats after, which she doesn’t always do with new people! Very much looking forward to having K be part of our regular routine!

Kaelyn is an incredible dog sitter! She has been an incredible help with our brand new puppy, even teaching our puppy how to sit! I would highly recommend Kaelyn for your pet sitting needs!
