My wife and I currently own a Brittany, a Golden Collie, and an old herding dog. My dogs enjoy a huge fenced back yard while also having 12 acres to run around and burn energy. I am a caretaker of my father in law and am at home during the day. I own three dogs that love socializing and meeting new friends I live on 12 acres can walk and play with your dogs. I have several dog crates for evening sleeping if needed (larger breeds may need to provide their own). Access to water to play in, drinking water, treats and training time. I have two very friendly dogs who can interact with your dog if they’re comfortable with each other, or they can be put away if your dog prefers their own space. Both of my dogs are off-leash trained, but when a client’s dog is staying with me, the door does not open unless that dog is safely leashed. We’re 10 steps away from Reaney Park, where client dogs stay on a leash or long line the entire time. We also have a fenced balcony that your dog can enjoy with supervision if you’d like them to have access to it. Inside, there are plenty of appropriate toys to chew on and cords, surfaces, and other hazards are kept out of reach. Your dog will be supervised whenever they’re not safely crated. I love giving dogs as much freedom as they can safely handle, so please feel free to tell me your pup’s expectations, routines, and requirements. I’m happy to follow them and make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

About: Hi, I’m Brian! I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. Right now, it's just me and my cat, Vader, so I would absolutely love to welcome a canine (or another feline) presence back into my home! I work at WSU and live a quiet, peaceful life here in Colfax. Because my home is a kid-free environment and I spend a lot of my time here, your pet will get plenty of focused attention, companionship, and love. I understand how hard it is to leave your pets, so I am committed to treating yours like family - providing a safe, comfortable, and fun home away from home. I’d love to chat and see if I’m the perfect fit for your pet! I work at WSU so it's a short commute each day, allowing me to spend more time at home. My weekday evenings are pretty quiet. I sometimes go out on the weekends but would be quite happy staying home if there is pet-sitting to do. I have a large fenced yard. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. I can provide drop-in visits before and after work, and on my lunch break, or I am happy to stay in your home, where I will care for your pet before and after my work day, and during my lunch break if that is most comfortable! UPDATE: I have moved to Lewiston, ID as of 7/31/2026. I still commute to work in Moscow, ID for the time being, but will be available in the mornings before work and evenings after. If your pet requires more frequent attention, I might be your gal for a weekend trip! About: My experience with dogs has ranged from personal ownership: (raised with two mixed breeds, and owned a WHIPPET for fourteen years), to boarding dogs, to working at a doggie daycare, and working for a dog walking company. Currently I am a stay at home mom to three kids- so I am home most of the time, including weekends. If I do step out, for errands, appointments, and such, I will absolutely make sure your pet has had enough walks/potty breaks. We have a fenced yard, and a great neighborhood for walking. My family, and I will work consistently to make sure your pooch feels comfortable, and loved. That said, for safety reasons I choose not to share photos of my kids on my profile page- regardless, they are great with dogs! My time is flexible in that I can work around my families schedule to provide boarding for your pet(s). We look forward to meeting you/them! I can provide care for your dog(s), by following the schedule you have set for them. I love walking, and playing fetch with dogs! My kids especially love helping out with fetch. 😊 Pet care works easily with my daily, and weekly schedule, because I am a stay at home mom, and therefore home most of the time. About: I have had animals my whole life and grew up on a farm. I’ve house sat and pet sat for family friends since I was a little girl. I love all animals and giving them the proper support each one needs. I have a job at a coffee shop I only work some weekends at for a few hours. I’m open to work around your pets schedule. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 13. The first dog I had to care for was my own, when I got my dog Dash my dad said we could keep her if my siblings and I took care of her. She is now 10 years old and the greatest responsibility I have taken care of in my life. I also started dog sitting for friends and family not long after. I have taken care of older dogs who need medication and help with their mobility. Puppies who have been from 1 month to 1 year old, whether it was stopping by afterschool to let them out while potty training or keeping them active. I’ve taken care of dogs from complicated backgrounds who need more time to open up. One of the dogs I regularly take care of was a rescue who didn’t like men and was scared of new people I would spend time with the family in their home so the dog could get used to me before i would take care of him on my own. Learning their routines, personalities and quirks helps me best adapt to the lifestyle both pet and owner share. When taking care of a pet in their own home being respectful and responsible is a must not only do I have to earn the pets trust but also the owners. She loves to lounge in the sun, in warmer weather she will always be outside in our fully fenced backyard where we can see her. She likes to go on a small walk each day and play inside with her toys. Dash would rather stay laying in her bed or the couch all day if she could but we always try to keep her healthy and safe. Being part winner dog she still has a long spine, we always try to make sure she’s careful from not hurting herself.

I have a dog of my own and she’s a sassy silly lazy girl. I enjoy cuddling with dogs and just having fun with them. Going on walks, playing with toys, watching a movie and going through a roller coaster of emotions, i can do a lot with dogs! i can also ensure that i will provide as much goofy photos of possible if wanted (i will be taking because its funny and brings up the vibes) I work super early so I’m available for majority of the day. I’ll leave at the crack of the morning and come back in the morning still! i’m able to take all dogs out for a potty break in between work as well and just give them attention if that’s all they need! I treat my pets like my fur babies. they are my children so i talk to them as if i have teenage kids going through their moody phase. with other people’s dogs i can present my self calmly or energized depending on what they need. i love including them in everything if they want. like if they want to help me fold laundry, cook, clean, or just watch a movie then we are all doing it as a group.

While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. I have two very friendly dogs who can interact with your dog if they’re comfortable with each other, or they can be put away if your dog prefers their own space. Both of my dogs are off-leash trained, but when a client’s dog is staying with me, the door does not open unless that dog is safely leashed. We’re 10 steps away from Reaney Park, where client dogs stay on a leash or long line the entire time. We also have a fenced balcony that your dog can enjoy with supervision if you’d like them to have access to it. Inside, there are plenty of appropriate toys to chew on and cords, surfaces, and other hazards are kept out of reach. Your dog will be supervised whenever they’re not safely crated. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week.
