About: I have had animals my whole life and grew up on a farm. I’ve house sat and pet sat for family friends since I was a little girl. I love all animals and giving them the proper support each one needs. I have a job at a coffee shop I only work some weekends at for a few hours. I’m open to work around your pets schedule. I don’t have a fenced yard and would prefer not to bring pets in my own home. I have pets at my own house and would prefer not to mix them.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This last summer I also interned at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I managed the foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. Currently, I am a full-time student at WSU and simultaneously work a job in the early mornings, so I am only available after 4-6pm depending on the day, as of right now. Due to limited time, my schedule best fits evening walks, nightly check ins, or one-night stays. My schedule is subject to change in December when I will return to Everett. For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

I’ve also been a dog groomer and bather for 3 years and have worked at various boarding facilities, so I have a lot of hands on experience with animal care and all the everyday parts of caring for dogs. I’ve also worked on an AKC German Shepherd farm doing conformation showing and training, and I’ve fostered 6 puppies that I trained and prepared for their new families — they still keep in touch with me daily! I work part time, so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups **(Me and a roomate in the home I will be the sole and only caretaker of your pet throughout the week.)**I live just a few steps from Reaney Park and visit there frequently, so walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my routine. I have Sundays off every week and am happy to dedicate that day to extra time and attention with your pup. My home is dog proofed and set up to be a safe, comfortable place for your pup. I have two very friendly dogs who can interact with your dog if they’re comfortable with each other, or they can be put away if your dog prefers their own space. Both of my dogs are off-leash trained, but when a client’s dog is staying with me, the door does not open unless that dog is safely leashed. We’re 10 steps away from Reaney Park, where client dogs stay on a leash or long line the entire time. We also have a fenced balcony that your dog can enjoy with supervision if you’d like them to have access to it. Inside, there are plenty of appropriate toys to chew on and cords, surfaces, and other hazards are kept out of reach. Your dog will be supervised whenever they’re not safely crated. I love giving dogs as much freedom as they can safely handle, so please feel free to tell me your pup’s expectations, routines, and requirements. I’m happy to follow them and make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. About: My entire life revolves around caring for and loving animals! I have recently been accepted into vet school, and I will be starting in the fall! I am currently saving extra money to help support myself through school and hope to build a repeat pet-sitting and dog-walking clientele along the way. My goal as a veterinarian is to work in small-animal general practice or, possibly, to specialize in critical care or internal medicine. My work schedule can vary weekly. I have every Wednesday and Sunday off + an additional day that changes. My workdays are long, ranging from 10 to 12 hours. However, I have a long lunch each day and can check on your fur baby during this time if needed! Otherwise, I am free before work (very early morning) or after approximately 5 or 6 pm on my work days. I am free all day on my days off! I plan to open my availability once school begins in August! My biggest priority is maintaining trust between you, me, and your pet. When I watch pets, I first establish what they enjoy or how to make them feel safest with me. I like to limit stress by sticking to their usual daily routine as much as possible. While in your home, I will keep it clean and organized and leave it looking the same, or even better, than when you left! I will send daily updates (sometimes a couple times a day) and pictures of your pet during their time with me. If you would prefer minimal updates, I can do that too!

About: Ever since I was a kid family and friends have trusted me to care for and check on their dogs. I love animals so much and I’ve only ever gotten good feedback. I am on my 4th year at WSU, majoring in wildlife ecology and conservation, so I have great basic knowledge and skills to care for animals! My class schedule allows me to take multiple breaks throughout the day on mon, wed, and fri. But my Tuesdays and Thursdays are strictly from 8am-12pm. I will also send my schedule if requested. Firstly I want to make you and your animal the most comfortable as possible so I would like to follow any schedule or routine as strictly as possible. If there isn’t a specific schedule then I will be open to anything you and your pet are comfortable with. I will take them out, play with them, cuddle with them, etc.
