About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 11. From my dog, to my family member's dogs, I've taken them on walks, given medication through pill pockets, fed them, brushed them, played with them, and given them all the love and attention they could ever want! I'm working part time, so I can give as much attention as possible to your pets! I'll be constantly in the area, so no need to worry about your pet being alone for too long. I’ll take the fur baby (or babies) on walks, play with them, love on them, and everything in between! Any need they could have, I can meet.

About: I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them. I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. Feeding all of my animals is a heavy part of that, and the best part. I start and finish my days making sure everyone is fed, loved, and happy, and if they are then it is a good day. Being able to take a lunch break to visit more animals is an added bonus that I will look forward to all day. I always make sure to specialize care to the animals themselves, and mimic how their own parents care for them. If an animal needs more frequent visits, longer visits, extra play time, medications, specialized meal plans or supervised meals I will always accommodate to the best of my ability. I will never leave an animal until they are satisfied with my service.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!

About: Hi! I have been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up with many dogs and have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. My personal current dogs are a senior cocker spaniel (Banjo) who requires daily oral medication, a hound mix (Darby) who always keeps me on my toes and an irish setter (Murphy) who competes with me in rally obedience. About: I have owned pets my entire life including dogs, cats, chickens, and hamsters! At the moment, my family has 2 dogs and a cat that I help care for when I am home from school. About: I have 4 dogs of my own. My Mastiff and my little dashund mix are geriatric and spend their time on their orthopedic beds. My two younger dogs are a mini Aussie and golden retriever. They are both very social due to me running a doggy daycare. I am insured and have clientele outside of Rover 😊 I have two fenced yards and currently working on completing a dog park on our property. The downstairs apartment of our home was turned into a dog palace with one room dedicated to kitties. My niece lives with me and she is a vet tech at a Lewiston vet clinic. She is very helpful with my doggy daycare and boarding. I also have a 16yr old who is absolutely amazing with animals. Meet and greets are always welcome! I currently run a full time doggy daycare and boarding from my home. I am insured outside of Rover as well. My home is completely set up for pets and I have a live in vet tech. About: As an incoming 1st year vet student, I have devoted over 8000 hours to veterinary medicine. This has given me experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, including young puppies, senior dogs, fractious cats, and medically complex pets. Additionally, I am a dog foster and have recovered medically complex pups from intense surgeries/traumas. Given those experiences, I am comfortable administering medications both orally and injectables, as well as recognizing signs and symptoms of illness. As well, I have a behaviorally complex German Shepherd of my own, and feel comfortable recognizing and avoiding triggers, or safely deescalating situations if they arise.
