I have been pet sitting for most of my life as well as caring for my own animals at home. I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. You will not find someone more passionate or empathetic about animals of any and all shapes and sizes. When people weren’t there for me, my animals were, and I have vowed to be there just the same for them.

I always make sure to specialize care to the animals themselves, and mimic how their own parents care for them. If an animal needs more frequent visits, longer visits, extra play time, medications, specialized meal plans or supervised meals I will always accommodate to the best of my ability. I will never leave an animal until they are satisfied with my service.

Katherine has been absolutely amazing with my puppy! She’s super communicative, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make sure my energetic puppy is well taken care of. I can tell she genuinely cares about my puppy and I always feel comfortable knowing he’s with her. She’s been so reliable and caring and I couldn’t be happier with her!

Katherine was amazing with my cat and was very nice. She was very attentive and did everything as instructed. She also wrote out everything that she did and as I have had bad experiences with previous sitters, this eased my anxiety. Would definitely recommend!
Katherine took great care of our two cats! She’s also a very talented photographer and we’ll be saving many of the daily photos she sent because they’re so artfully done. We will definitely reach out to her again next time we need a pet sitter!

Schedule
I am a strong creature of habit, and love a good structured routine to my day. Feeding all of my animals is a heavy part of that, and the best part. I start and finish my days making sure everyone is fed, loved, and happy, and if they are then it is a good day. Being able to take a lunch break to visit more animals is an added bonus that I will look forward to all day.

- Some important things I will need to know before watching your pets includes the basics of how much they are fed, how many times a day, how long they can be left alone, and any medications or special needs they have. Additionally, the number and address of their vet in case of emergencies and a maximum amount you are comfortable paying for them in case of an emergency. Some additional information I would like to have is their favorite toy, treat, way to play, and places to be pet or if they don’t like to be pet and like their personal space. Any information about how to make your pet happy and comfortable as if you were still there is always appreciated!
