Permanent Pullman resident. I will be here for you for the long haul. I have been a full-time employee at a large Seattle-area humane society, and served on the Board of Directors here in Pullman for the Whitman County Humane Society. Compassion is my guiding principal--I care for animals just as I would want my own companions to be cared for. Dogs, cats, horses, no animal is out of the question. Have reliable transportation and know The Palouse like the back of my hand, born and raised in Pullman. I love animals SO much, I made the choice to stop eating them 30 years ago! References available upon request. My longest running pet sitting client has/had 4-7 Great Danes, 4 horses and multiple barn cats (yes, all at one time!). Will do whatever it takes to keep your fur babies happy and comfortable! I am now encouraging all cat guardians to keep one cat carrier in their home for every cat they have in the event of an emergency and I have to evacuate your fur babies on short notice. Please have enough for everybody and make sure I know where they are. Some cats can share one carrier, but others don't tolerate that, my own cats can't be put both into one carrier, Ahimsa gets really mad and I'm afraid that he might hurt Ewan. In the event of an emergency I will do everything in my power to evacuate all of your pets and keep them safe until you return. Hopefully I will never have to, but we have to be prepared for this possibility.

Shelley did an amazing job caring for our dog. She was reliable, communicated well, played and gave him lots of pets. This was the first time leaving our dog at home without us for more than a day. If you have shy/anxious cats, Shelley is the sitter for you! We have 4 cats, and 2 are so shy that some of our family members havent even seen them. Within a couple days, Shelley had all 4 cats out and about, playing instead of hiding! She was communicative, compassionate, and thorough ! She was clearly very patient and calming with our guys, and we arrived home to 4 very happy and healthy kitties. Would definitely book again.
Shelley did a long cat sitting job for us. When we got home everything was in perfect condition, and our cats acted like we hadn’t even been gone. Nicely done!
