About: One of my passions in life is pets and caring for them. As a graduate from Carrington College in veterinary assisting I learned valuable skills such as understanding animal behavior, CPR, nail trims and administering medications. OUTSIDE REVIEWS Heather took care of my young and active miniature Australian Labradoodle Maggie for 3 nights. She stayed at my home and did an amazing job. I came home to a calm and happy dog and my house was just as I left it . Maggie loved her and she loved Maggie. I felt 100 % confident that she was in good hands. She has experience with animals, loves them and has even had vet tech training in the past. Previously, when I left Maggie with a sitter for 3 days she didn’t eat and lost a pound, but with Heather she was just as I left her. I was delighted. Heather gets 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 I am free just about any time and duration, and can go anywhere that Tri-Met can take me if it's an hour or less travel time. I will take your dog to a park if it's within walking distance, or walk around the neighborhood, or play/run around in the yard or house as well.

If you're working on training your pets, I'll update you on improvements and behavior. Rest assured, I've got you covered. I'm currently working part-time as I am also a remote designer. I aim to conduct visits/walks during the day with preference of weekdays - however, I can be flexible when need be! I always have a checklist for my visits to ensure that I've got all grounds covered especially if I am working with multiple pets in a visit. About: I've had dogs of my own for my whole life so they have always been a big part of who I am. I currently have two dogs of my own, but have plenty of love left to share with your dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve spent two years and over 150 hours volunteering at a dog and cat rescue. I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments by walking, feeding, bathing, training, and administering medications. In addition to dogs, I’ve previously been a pet parent to horses, cats, and bunnies. I currently volunteer at an equine rescue. I used rover as a sitter very briefly in 2017 when I lived in Florida, so I have some old reviews from my previous time on Rover. I am re-establishing my profile and am excited to get to know some wonderful pups and pup parents in Portland. During walks I will ensure your dog remains leashed with the collar and leash set up of your choice. If you’re working on loose leash walking, I can support that training on my walks with your pups. I’ll ensure your pet has food, water, medication (as needed), and will let you know immediately if I see any health or safety concerns.

About: Known to be dependable, trustworthy, and caring, I've been a regular dog sitter/walker for 8+ years and cared for family pets my whole life. Most of the dogs have been higher needs with anxiety, special diets, medicine, routines, etc. I've even watched a Macaw! My goal is to keep your dog in their regular schedule with just as much care as you would typically provide. I'm training for a trail race and would love some canine companions on the trails! You can expect regular updates from me so you know your pet is being well taken care of! Flexible remote job, looking to book a few walks or visits (love pets & cuddles!) during the day to help dogs who are home for large chunks of time and need a break and/or some exercise! About: I've been passionate about animal care ever since I started my first pet-sitting business at 15. I still remember my first clients: A family with an older cat and a family with two pomeranian puppies. While I love dogs and can take care of them, my specialty is feline friends! I absolutely love cats in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I'm there if your cat wants a long-term babysitter relationship or just a friendly person to fill the bowl and respect their need for personal space.
