About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had pets. I’ve trained, walked, fed, played, and cared for my Shiba Inu from when she was a puppy to her senior days. I help out neighbors with dog-walking and friends often ask me to pet-sit their dog or cats for up to a few weeks at a time. I currently work remotely full-time from 11am-8pm on the weekdays, so I have plenty of time in the morning to go on longer walks and would love an excuse to get outside more! I am also available all day on the weekends to walk our furry friends! :) I always look out for busy streets or sidewalks to avoid that might be overstimulating for some dogs. Finding peaceful routes and ensuring safety of our furry friend is my top priority. If needed, it is never a hassle to avoid other dogs or people during walks if our furry friend is not compatible with others.
“Ari was wonderful, she and my cat got along great, and she sent me lots of photos and updates while I was away, which made me feel much better about being away on my trip!”

“Ellen was fantastic with Clover. She came to do a “Meet and Greet” and then we walked Clover to the park. Clover immediately took to Ellen, and I would not hesitate to have her watch Clover again. I would highly recommend!”

“Nina was amazing with my cat Moonlight! We just moved to a new space so Moonlight was extremely shy, but Nina was very patient, respectful, and caring. I knew that Moonlight was in great hands! I would definitely book with her again.”

“Rocky is great! He communicates clearly and is great with giving visit notes. My cat needs insulin too and he ate better with Rocky then he does with me! Highly recommend!”

“Katrina did a wonderful job with our cat over a long weekend. She was consistent and communicative. She is a true cat lover and met all of Gene’s needs. Would call on her again in an instant! We returned to find everything in good order and a happy, settled cat!”

“I would definitely recommend Alexa! She was very responsive, and able to make time to look after my cat on short notice when I was going out of town, which was a life-saver! She was very timely and clear in her communication, which gave me confidence that I was leaving my cat in good hands. When I arrived back home, my cat was so content she barely lifted her head - which is the truest endorsement! :D”

“Lydia was a very helpful pet sitter! She followed all of the instructions I gave very well and managed to earn the affection of my very shy and cautious cat. She sent pictures of her every day which eased my worries, since I had never let her in the care of strangers before. I would hire her again without hesitation!”

“Brian has been cat sitting regularly for us for years now - he’s simply fantastic. Super communicative, 100% reliable and genuinely cares for our ageing cat. We are so grateful to him and for him!”

“Janie did an excellent job of taking care of my cat Isla. She was punctual and provided insightful updates. I would highly recommend Janie to anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: I started with pet care when I was 8 with a home socialization program for puppies that would grow up to be seeing eye dogs. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter when I was in high school. In addition, I’ve watched neighbors animals - dogs, cats, and small pets. I ventured out to more pet owners through word of mouth and have been sitting for 10+ years. Additionally, I have trained my dogs and helped train others! I’m working part time as a host but have a flexible schedule. I am a doctoral student at Jefferson so I am frequently in center city. I will have my fall schedule established more towards fall. I am respectful of what the owners want as far as their pet needs. I’m one who enjoys the outdoors and walking so I am eager to get the dogs outside. I also am more than willing to hang out with the animals in the home!

Philadelphia cat parents share their Rover experiences
Edward was such a great sitter for my kitties! Responded last minute to my last minute request heading out for the weekend unexpectedly with no issue. Was very diligent in following our complicated building and care instructions and dealing with our messy just moved-in apartment, sending amazing pictures of my babies, and super timely in his visits. My kitties very obviously took to him well in his videos and were very happy and much less stressed and anxious upon our return. Will be very happy to use him again

I think my kitties have a new best friend and were a tad disappointed to see me return home from my trip 😂 Faith was amazing and sent me better photos of my babies then I have ever taken myself. This was the first trip out of town I didn’t have to worry about my cats one bit, such a stress relief.

Brianna is fantastic and genuinely the best person I’ve ever found on rover!! She was so attentive and trustworthy when we left our cats for 3 weeks in a new city. Brianna is kind, gentle, responsible, and caring; you can tell she loves animals and has experience with taking care of cats, especially playing with them, taking out the litter, etc. She cleaned up their messes (shredded toilet paper, litter) and took out the trash regularly. We came home to happy cats and a clean house (without litter/cat food smells) which isn’t always the case with cat sitters. I could not recommend Brianna enough!!
