“Nice work!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Torrie did an excellent job. We really appreciated her reports and photos. It looks like she and our cat had fun playing with each other. Torrie was flexible with visits. We would definitely ask Torrie to take care of our cat again.”

“My cats absolutely LOVE Andrea and I am thrilled that they're so comfortable with her. She's fantastic about texting me and sending pictures/videos of my kitties. She makes sure that I come home to a cleaned-uo house and checks ahead of there's anything else she can do for me. I haven't looked for another cat-sitter since I found her a few years ago and I don't plan to because she's awesome!!”

“Samuel was assisted by his sister, who handled a couple of the scheduled days. Both of them were great! They had a wonderful attitude and were eager to help when I needed to make occasional small requests or adjustments to my instructions. Very responsive and prompt. I will definitely hire him (or both of them) again!”

“Jessica took great care of our elderly cat, Lulu, and went the extra mile to accommodate Lulu’s normal routine while we were away. Jessica was caring, professional, attentive, and sent us great pictures and updates of each of visit. It was comforting to know that our elderly cat was in such good hands. We will absolutely book Jessica again in the future!”

“Cora Leigh took wonderful care of our two girl cats for 2 weeks. She is very communicative, reliable, caring, and trustworthy. One of our girl cats is experiencing health issues but Cora Leigh was very accommodating. We are so happy and thankful for everything she has done. She’s the best pet sitter, we & our community as a whole, are fortunate to have her services available. Thank you so much Cora!✨?✨”

“I have used Shawn numerous times. She is EXCELLENT!!! I have a very shy kitty and I was shocked when he warmed up to Shawn very quickly. But not only is she fabulous with animals, she follows all instructions to the letter!”

“Tiffany took great care of our guinea pig and fish while we were out of town for a week during the holidays. She is an amazing petsitter and went above and beyond the care we were hoping for. Our guinea pig had last minute health issues, and Tiffany took on extra medication administration as well as wound care. She did an amazing job, and we can’t thank her enough.”

About: Hi! I’m a local Petaluma resident who would love to help out my neighbors and friends by spending time with their furry companions. I love to get outside and explore the area and I have flexibility during the week to come visit your dog or take them out, for a walk or just some extra playtime during the day while you’re away or at work. I work remote and am able to do drop ins or walks Monday-Friday. I love incorporating walks into my day and would love to bring a furry friend along and provide care and company while their owners are away. I care for others pets in the same way I care for my own dog, Freddie, with attention to their individual personalities and needs and with the care I would expect if someone was watching my dog in my home.

“Savannah is a dream! So professional and kind, an excellent communicator and a quick problem solver. Savannah cared for our chickens for nearly three full weeks and watched over the house and plants. She provided regular updates, was intuitive to care for the girls in the hot weather and allowed my time away to feel so much more at ease. I was so thrilled to return with thriving plants, and happy, calm chickens. Will definitely look to book with her again in the future, and recommend fully!”

About: I worked in a doggy daycare for a few years and have been caring for pets still after that. Have had a senior dog of my own to care for. I am very flexible with time throughout the week. Have dogs to care for of my own so while wife is at work during the day will need to care for them a little bit. I will care for the clients pet in their home exactly how they would want their dog treated in their home, and will follow their instructions exactly.

“I hit the jackpot with Jessica and her attentive cat sitting services. After meeting her, I felt completely confident. Then her consistent check-in’s, compounded my feelings! I love all the attention that Ash and Cole were receiving from her and her daughter. They were definitely committed to spending time with the boys and not just throwing food at them and leaving! I would definitely use Jessica’s services again.”

“Melissa once again exceeded my expectations! She went above and beyond to make sure my baby was well cared for while I was away. She provided detailed updates with cute pictures every time. I will be going back to her as much as possible!”

“No one better to take care of the gang! Superb! Very careful, accommodating and caring… the “kids” love him 🥰”

“Lindsay is dependable and loving with our pets. She does a fantastic job handling all the medications and other pet duties. We trust her and appreciate her and highly recommend her.”

About: I have had dogs all my life and have taken care of cats as well for a chunk at time as well. I currently have a mini Aussie and we are frequently on walks and adventures around town and Sonoma and Marin county. I am great with dogs on leash and encountering other dogs on walks. Love dogs of all ages. I own my own business as a wedding and even floral designer in Petaluma. My hours are flexible but mostly due to my she file during the spring and summer Sundays - Wednesdays are best. But ask and happy to work something out. I have a fenced in yard with a small patch of lawn, with water and toys available to play with for the dog. In our neighborhood, we typically walk around it is a good area to walk around.

“Our 6 year old Senegal parrot, Mojo, can sometimes be a handful. I wouldn't say he is "special needs" but he can be "especially needy." Well, that didn't intimidate Lucy at all! We all felt immediately comfortable (Mojo included, he took to her very quickly) with Lucy. Birds are a little more difficult to understand that dogs or cats, but her intuitive nature allowed for a successful "bird-watching" experience. The peace of mind we got from knowing she was spending time with Mojo made our vacation that much more enjoyable, and we looked forward to our daily updates and photos. Another amazing thing...usually when we have people stop in on Mojo, he is super grumpy and naughty for at least a full week after we get back, either because they didn't handle him properly or didn't handle his naughty habits properly, but when we got back Mojo didn't throw his week long usual fit. That in and of itself was fantastic! We are going away again in august and are already looking forward to Lucy watching Mojo again! Couldn't recommend Lucy more! =)”

About: I've grown up with an animal in the house my entire life and have help pet sit fellow family, friends, and neighbors fur babies too. Whether is was a multiple day stay to alleviate stress and boredom to just giving the pup(s) a chance to get energy out until their human returns from a long days work I was able to step in and help provide that care. Walks, play, food and water are the basics, but taking the time to give those goof scratches behind the ear or that one spot on the belly matters. Whatever the case may be, whether a young pup getting use to life in a house or a senior pup who needs their meds on time I'm happy to give our canine friends the positive attention and care they need until their humans return. I'm currently working part-time so there will be plenty of time to visit and make sure your pet is well taken care of and given some attention. Keeping pets safe is the top priority while looking after someone's furry family member. That means double checking that the space is safe for meals and play when indoors or outdoors, doors are managed properly so no escape artiest make a break for it, and that the correct food and water is given/placed out. Being safe is caring for not only the pet but the owner as well.

“I cannot say enough good things about Alex and how well he took care of our two cats while we were away for a week. He was so on top of everything, sent detailed updates and photos with every check-in and it was just so nice to be able to enjoy our vacation without worrying if our cats were in good hands. I would HIGHLY recommend him and will definitely be using him again in the future!”

About: I've cared for a variety of animals since I was 4 years old; I personally owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, & fish. I've also pet/house sat for friends & family; I've watched over cats, dogs, & rat. I shadowed/worked at Brandner's Veterinary Hospital, I also cared for the boarding pets over the weekends by myself (administering medications, cleaning up after the animals, feeding, taking them to go potty, & giving IV fluids). Brandner's specializes in rabbit care so I've been trained well on how to care for them too, sometimes the Clinic owners rabbits would even board overnight & I'd care for upwards of 4 rabbits on my own. I'm very comfortable around new animals & have had lots of experience caring for them most of my life. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets as if they were their own look no further. I'm working part time doing nightly trash collection for neighborhoods, roughly 10 hours a week. This would work perfectly as another source of income too. I like to be engaged with the pet, whether that's taking the dog on a walk or playing with the cat and their toys, etc.

“Jayne is my regular go-to for any dogsitting needs I have with my pup! She is a great communicator who always takes the best care of Luna. Every time I come to pick Luna up she seems sad to leave, which is only mildly offensive to me 😉 I would absolutely recommend Jayne to anyone looking for a dogsitter, your dog will feel right at home.”

Mary Rebecca D.
“Mary Rebecca is good with a wide variety of animals. She has cared for my cats who are older and a bit persnickity and they like her more than most. I know she also raised one of her cats from when he was a kitten (found him at 3 days old) so she has done it all when it comes to cats at least. She has also spent time with various foster dogs we have had in and out of our house. She's always patient with their craziness and various needs - both medical and temperment wise. We even had her pet/house sit and stay at our place one Christmas. I would trust her with any of my fur-babies and highly suggest her for your Rover needs.”
