About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, and farm animals. Though I have little experience, I am excited to grow my expertise through dog sitting and walking! I am currently available on weekends only. I am a full time student, so during the week I will be studying and commuting to class. I live alone with my dog and have a fenced in yard! I am young and active so keeping your dog busy is no problem!
“Baylee and Christy took the best care of Gordie. He can be a handful at times due to being very attached to “mom and dad”, but they assured me he finally calmed down and was a good boy. Plenty of pics sent my way ensuring he was just chilling. Thanks, ladies. I’m sure I’ll be reaching out again next time we go away!”
“Jenna was a wonderful sitter for our pup! They had a blast together and our pup was able to get a good walk, lots of play, and snuggles. We appreciate Jenna so much and we’ll definitely use her again!”

“Once again Deke and his wife provided fantastic are for my fur baby who was with them for eight days. It was the longest we’d need apart but I was confident that Deke would do a great job. Our pup requires special feeding and a supplement and Deke always gets it just right. From the written updates to the fun pictures, Deke puts our mind at ease that our fur baby is doing well in our absence. If you are looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, look no more, Deke is the absolute best!”

“This was our first experience leaving our Emme overnight. We were worried and had such sadness leaving her. Maryellen sent pictures, updates, videos constantly showing she was adjusting nicely and honestly, our worry turned to concern that she wouldn’t want to leave. 🥰. She made friends and played, had the same routine we have at home and quickly acclimated. If you are at all on the fence about leaving your baby, I assure you, there isn’t anyone better. We will definitely use her in the future!”

“Terri is absolutely amazing. This was our first time using Rover and we were hesitant with leaving our baby with a stranger but that was quickly resolved after speaking with Terri, who even offered a meet & greet a few days prior to the booking. She is very quick and responsive to our questions and sent pictures and videos of our frenchie enjoying his time with her. She also has a pup named Zeus who is the chillest and sweetest dog ever. We will definitely be rebooking with her.”

“Sue and Gary were excellent hosts for my Heeler, Roka. They provided lots of updates and photos throughout her stay and she had a blast with their dog Newman. Thanks for taking such great care of her!”

“My dogs were so well taken care of by Ms Benae! She sent tons of pics of them playing, snuggling, and doing fun activities. She even gave them treats and toys. I am so thankful and will be booking with her in the future.”

“It was over a week stay for my puppy, and Deborah did a great job taking care of him! Proactive communication on how he was doing was also good. I think he was a little sad to leave :)”

“My first time leaving my dog with anyone. I can hands down say they are the nicest people I’ve ever met. They truly love and enjoy dogs. Treated my flash like their own and sent tons of photos of his time there! Huge fenced in back yard and plenty of love while they are watching your fur babies! Thankful to of found them!”

“Leanna is incredible with stevie! I got lots of photos which I loved and stevie had so much fun having company. I would 100% recommend and will hopefully use her again in the future!”

“Michael was friendly and I could tell he really loves dogs. He took great care of my dog while I was away and sent daily text/photo updates to put me at ease that all was well. I will use him for dog boarding again in the future.”

“Tammie was amazing to our boy Oliver! We received updates and pictures regularly, multiple times a day. We feel like Ollie was on a vacation while staying with her 😊 We definitely coming back next time we need a dog sitter! ❤️”

“Peggy was so great with our boys! It was the 1st time used Rover and left them, and we will definitely do it again. They played like they were at a home away from home!”

“I cannot recommend her enough!! Leaving my 9-week-old puppy with someone for the first time made me so nervous, but she completely exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I dropped my puppy off, I felt 100% at ease. She provided constant updates, and photos which meant so much to me and really showed how much she genuinely cares. My puppy had the absolute best time playing with her resident dogs and was so happy, stimulated, and loved the entire stay. Honestly, I don’t even think my puppy wanted to leave! That alone says everything. It’s clear she creates such a safe, fun, and loving environment for the dogs in her care. It is such a relief to have found someone I fully trust, and I will absolutely be booking with her again. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, she is the one!”

“Danielle was awesome. She took my dog in on short notice and my dog was in good hands. She sent updates and pics and made my first time using Rover very easy. Will definately use her again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
