“Wonderful sitter! Plenty of pics and videos of my dog playing, walking and resting. I felt very comfortable leaving my pup with Sami as she is so sweet and considerate. He had so much fun playing with her little dog! They even went on a nice trail hike together. 🥰”

“Majorca is simply the best when it comes to my babies. They always enjoy their time with her. She’s very communicative and sends plenty of pictures throughout their visit.”

“Kyle and Laura were absolutely amazing with Mardi over Easter weekend. They took him on walks, played games with him, and gave him so much love and attention while we were away. They kept us in constant contact, sending updates about their daily activities along with multiple photos, which made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy our trip without any worries. This was our first time using Rover, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be using Kyle and Laura again for future trips.”

“Very kind and quick to respond, it was our first time leaving Maverick with someone we don’t know, so we were happy we found Kemarie . She sent lots of cute pics and kept us updated. Mav barely wanted to leave to come home it seemed haha. Our family including Mav would say 10/10!!!”

“Terri is absolutely amazing. This was our first time using Rover and we were hesitant with leaving our baby with a stranger but that was quickly resolved after speaking with Terri, who even offered a meet & greet a few days prior to the booking. She is very quick and responsive to our questions and sent pictures and videos of our frenchie enjoying his time with her. She also has a pup named Zeus who is the chillest and sweetest dog ever. We will definitely be rebooking with her.”

“My dogs were so well taken care of by Ms Benae! She sent tons of pics of them playing, snuggling, and doing fun activities. She even gave them treats and toys. I am so thankful and will be booking with her in the future.”

“Laura was amazing with Raven! She kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Raven was in great hands, she seemed happy, well cared for, and comfortable. Laura also sent lots of pictures, which I really appreciated and loved seeing. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Melanie was so great with Opal. She made us feel so comfortable at the meet and greet, was flexible with drop-off times, and provided pictures and updates. She was also very understanding when Opal was more than a little curious about her cat! Her dog, Georgi, is a big, fluffy sweetie, too!”

“This was a short notice and quick stay for our Kiba but Madison made him feel very welcome! She sent pictures and they went on walks to get some of his energy out before bedtime! She was great taking care of our boy”

“My Marge adored McKenzie and I am so grateful with how communicative McKenzie was while I was away, sending me updates so that I didn’t worry as much being out of the country on vacation. Marge misses her already!”

“This girl is the best! My Berni loves going for a little doggie vaycay with Miriah and all of her furry friends! It’s a big treat for her! She’s always wiped out when I pick her up! Parks, beaches, fun group walks with all her other dogs, and just socializing! I get the best pics and videos of my Berni having fun with the others, or snuggling in bed, or napping with the kitties, she’s great with that too! She takes extra care and is sweet n loving with your pet like it’s her own. And she’s always been extra great by accommodating my last minute requests or changes! We just love Miriah! 🤗 🐾”

About: I have been around dogs since I was 3 years old. I have always had family dogs and recently lost my German Shepherd. I have pet sat for friends and family since I was in middle school. I work from home so I will be able to drop in multiple times throughout the day. I currently do not have kids so am very flexible with my time. I can stay overnight in your house with your animals and drop in multiple times a day. I have a lot of experience with strong dogs and enjoy taking dogs on adventures or just walks around the neighborhood.

We left our 11y.o. dog with Chandler. I was afraid she would thimk we had abandoned her..Chandler went WAY out of his way to make her feel loved and comfortable. He even slept on the floor beside her to ease her depression. We will never use anyone but Chandler the rest of my life.
Blaze is our go-to when we go out of time. She is kind, conscientious, and flexible. Our dog loves her! When we had our older dog, she was great about giving medications on time and correctly. I am so extra about our dog and I feel very comfortable leaving her with Blaze!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
