About: I’ve always had cats and dogs growing up. I am very passionate about taking care of animals and plan to go into veterinary school! Everyone in my life knows if they need anyone to take care of their pets I’m the first person to call! I am currently in school but I am available every morning until 12:00 pm and again after 3:30 pm. I am also available every weekend all day. I have a fenced in yard. I have 2 dogs (3yrs and 1yr) and 2 cats. They are all very friendly and my dogs love to play.
About: I have been taking care of animals since a very young age. Family and friends have have relied on me to care for their pets when they've traveled. My schedule is flexible and open currently to help care for and meet your pet's needs. I'll be able to spend plenty of time with them and make sure they have all the attention love they need while in my care! Pet sitting at your home will keep your pets are comfortable and in a safe environment while you are away. Feel free to share any important details about your pet's schedules and routines with me and I will be sure to keep them happy!
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies who need training reinforcement to senior pets who require patience and gentle handling. As a veteran, I bring reliability, attention to detail, and calm leadership that animals naturally respond to. I’m comfortable administering basic medications, supporting senior dogs with mobility challenges, and keeping up with energetic pups who need exercise and structure. What sets me apart is consistency—you can count on me to be on time, communicate clearly, and treat every pet like family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I structure my days so I’m available for morning walks, midday drop-ins, and evening care. I'm home constantly, which allows me to focus on the needs of each pet. Whether it’s regular daily walks, weekend sitting, or last-minute bookings, I ensure pets receive consistent attention and care when their families are unable to be there. Safety and trust come first in every home I step into. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines while making sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow all instructions closely, from feeding schedules to walk routes, and I keep a close eye on doors, gates, and leashes to ensure pets stay safe. I provide plenty of positive attention, consistent communication with updates and photos, and a calm presence that helps pets feel secure. My goal is to give every family peace of mind knowing their pets are safe, happy, and treated like my own.
“Jennifer is always great with my dog Harper! She is always there and on time when we need her to be. She is also super nice and watches her last minute if I need her to. She follows directions and always goes above and beyond. Harper is always super tired after I get back home. I definitely recommend Jennifer! Thanks for all you do I really appreciate it!”

“Stacy was a God send for us! After issues at the airport we needed a pet sitter day of. I get anxious having people in the house when we aren’t there, but immediately felt at ease when we met Stacy. She took the best care of our two dogs. Truly above and beyond.”

About: I am a life-long animal lover and have always had several pets in my life at any given time. I have often cared for the pets of neighbors, friends, and family - from cats and dogs to chickens to reptiles - not to mention the occasional stray that has come home with me while their family was located. I am experienced with tasks from feeding to bathing to administering medications. I teach at the college level and have summers off. I love my time off but like the idea of pet care to stay busy and active. My summer schedule is wide open and ready to fill with walks, feedings, playtime, and whatever else your pets may need. I believe that maintaining a regular schedule of care for your pets is the most beneficial to their comfort and well-being. Therefore, I focus on following the schedule of feedings, medications, walks, and playtime that you lay out for me. I also place high importance on treating your home and pets as I would my own.
About: I am your furry friend's new bestie! For my entire life, I have cared for animals such as dogs, cats, koi fish, and chinchillas. I have experience with kittens and senior cats, as well as special cat breeds like Maine Coons. I have also cared for small dog breeds like Chihuahuas and large dog breeds like Labradors. I have experience with raising two Labrador puppies through seniorhood. I love all animals, and I love that every pet has their own unique personality and care needs. I currently have a rescue pup. His name is Mochi, and he is a 1 year old lab mix. I adopted him at just 2 months old. I raised him through puppyhood, ensuring that he was thoroughly trained and socialized. Mochi loves to run, play, and cuddle. He especially loves to play with my roommate’s two mini dachshunds. Mochi is a happy-go-lucky guy! WEEKDAYS: My work schedule is variable. Generally, I am able to provide care in the afternoons and evenings. WEEKENDS: I am available ALL DAY on weekends. For overnight stays, Friday-Sunday are wide open. If you have any questions, please reach out! I am flexible and would love to accomodate whatever care needs your pet may have. Your pet's safety is my #1 priority. I can accommodate any special instructions you give me. I can easily crate a dog and create a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for them! I am a one-client sitter, meaning that if you book me for any service, I will only care for your pets during that time. For example, I will not be walking your dog(s) in a group with other clients' dogs, but I can walk multiple dogs if you have 2+ that need to be walked at once! This is one way that I ensure safety for the pets I care for, especially ones that are perhaps more shy and need one-on-one attention.

About: I have been around and taken care of cats, dogs, and other small animals my entire life. I was also Store Manager of a pet store for 5 years. I only work part-time so there will be plenty of time for walking, playing, and whatever else your fur-baby needs. Pets don't fit into my schedule, they are my schedule. I have researched and implemented what care and environment I believe is best for my pets and am willing to provide that for other pet parents.
About: I can't really remember a time when I didn't have a pet! I have always been crazy about animals and have mostly owned dogs but have had cats too! I have taken care of mostly small and medium dogs but love all animals. I'm a retired nurse with a bit more time on my hands and would like to spend a bit of my new, free time with animals! We currently have a rescue dog, Rusty, that we have had for about 4 years now. He is a sweetie and loved so much! I look forward to meeting your pets and giving you peace of mind while you are away! I'm currently retired and available very often. I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and to relax with them! I can offer a private area for them to eat or decompress if needed. I have a fenced in back yard here and doggie doors to the outside. I have one 6 year neutered (big baby) small but chunky dog here as a playmate.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
