About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember! I started caring for neighbors’ pets when I was around 10 years old, and over the years I’ve gained experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From energetic puppies to senior dogs needing a little extra patience and care, I understand that every pet is unique. As a lifelong pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for them. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, medication, or simply a calm and caring companion while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same love and attention I’d want for my own pets. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable care, whether that’s drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or plenty of affection. I enjoy being active and outdoors, so daily walks and exercise are something I look forward to. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I’m committed to following each pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care that gives both you and your pet peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special preferences or routines your pet is used to. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I take a calm, patient approach to help them feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own; keeping things clean, locking up securely, and providing updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and in good hands.
“Dawn was a excellent sitter for our cat Tubby Dawn said that she would be at our home at 10:00AM every day and she was always on time Pictures were sent to us on every visit which gave us support that our pet was being looked after after properly I would recommend Dawn to anyone looking for pet care”

“Heather was truly the best! She went well over and beyond for our dogs. She gave us detailed information each visit, and even cleaned up our floors because it had been raining and the dogs brought mud in. She showed true care and concern for our dogs, and we couldn’t be more thankful! Highly recommend her!”

“Lisa is absolutely wonderful!! She really cared for and spent time with them. She is an excellent communicator and sent great updates and pictures. Our trip was so much more enjoyable knowing she was taking such great care of our babies!! I will use Lisa for future events!!”

“First time using Rover and was not disappointed. Brendelle is kind and thorough as a pet sitter. She is an effective communicator and kept me updated on my kitties throughout our trip. My kitties loved her so I’ve appreciated the experience and will definitely recommend her to others. Will plan on using her again in the future.”

About: This is our first time sitting for other pets but we would love to treat everyone’s pet with respect and spoil them with love and affection We both work full time but we are available to do boarding and drop in visits and any other service during work days. As in before and after work. While we both work full time we have different days off and different times we work so we can always be one of us available I stay at a apartment complex but we have a dog park and my dog is getting crate trained at the moment but she loves other animals and would love a friend for the day!
“Rilen was truly remarkable! We went on a weekend trip and felt so at ease the entire time thanks to her thoughtful updates and genuine care for our cats. She took the time to get to know each kitty, played with them, respected their schedules, and made sure they were happy and comfortable! She even went above and beyond for stepping in around lunch time to give our kitties little lunch snackies & dripped our faucets for us in these freezing temps! So much great help!! Having a sitter who is also a cat owner made a huge difference, I completely trusted her and felt so confident leaving our babies in her care. I will absolutely be using her again and recommending her to anyone looking for pet care. Thank you for making Zeus, Theo, and Evie feel so loved and safe! 🩷 We appreciate it so so so much!! -Vanessa & Mitch”

“Alyssa is an amazing sitter, that took the absolute best care of my dog while I was away for 10 days. She spent quality time with him, was always very punctual, and sent awesome photos of my dog to me while I was away. 10/10 rating and Alyssa has my highest recommendation as a Rover sitter!”

“Jennifer was really great - she sat for our dog and three cats while we were out of town and was very consistent for the drop-in visits, and communicated regularly. No issues, much appreciation. 😊”

“Jennifer is always great with my dog Harper! She is always there and on time when we need her to be. She is also super nice and watches her last minute if I need her to. She follows directions and always goes above and beyond. Harper is always super tired after I get back home. I definitely recommend Jennifer! Thanks for all you do I really appreciate it!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. Through this, I have developed a great love for animals. In addition to caring for my own family's pets, I started caring for our friends’ and neighbors’ pets from a young age. I am here to help out in any way that I can so that your pets always feel loved! I am currently residing in Pensacola but I work full time Monday through Friday in Gulf Breeze/Navarre. I do work full time two days in Navarre and three days in Gulf Breeze. I work in the school system and can be available anytime after 3:30 most days or early mornings. On the weekends I am much more open. I currently have a cat in my home so I only do housesitting, drop-ins, and walks at this time. I have recently moved to the Pensacola area. I mainly watch people’s pets in their home where I believe animals are most comfortable. I take notes and advice from owners seriously when it comes to their pets routines and behaviors.
“Joy, took care of our two dogs while on vacation. She was absolutely amazing , our babies love her , she played with them , took on walks , fed and gave medication . I sure lucked out! I booked for the first time and at the last minute. I found Kate and she was absolutely wonderful with my doggies! She played, loved on them and even cleaned up their room & kennels. My dogs are like my kids and I was grateful that I could go out of town and they would be well taken care of. Will book again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
