“It’s hard to put into words what a great pet sitter Miriah is. Let’s just say she’s kind, attentive, thorough; she gives above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone who’s interested in only the best for their animals.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs, including administering medications when needed. With 15 years of personal and professional dog‑care experience, I provide patient, reliable, and consistently high‑quality care. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to provide consistent and attentive care throughout the week. I’m available to come to your home for visits, walks, and dedicated time with your dog. I provide care directly in your dog’s home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow your established routines, maintain a calm and safe environment, and ensure your pet receives attentive supervision, gentle handling, and consistent comfort throughout each visit.

About: Lifelong love for animals combined with hands on veterinary experience. I’ve loved animals since I was little, grew up wanting to become a veterinarian, and have owned pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I also worked for 3 years as a Veterinary Assistant, where I gained experience safely handling pets, recognizing changes in behavior, and helping animals feel comfortable in stressful situations. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I’ll care for yours with patience, attention, and lots of love. Just like I would my own. Currently own a Orange Tabby Cat named Sammy who is the love of my life :) I’m currently a stay at home cat mom. This allows me to have open availability and flexible scheduling, so I can dedicate plenty of time to playing with, caring for, and giving attention to your pets throughout the day. When caring for pets, my top priorities are safety, trust, and making sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand how important it is to trust someone with both your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any specific care preferences to help keep things consistent and stress free for them.
About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. But when my family got a new dog in 2015, I really became involved. I helped with all necessary puppy tasks such as training, playing, bathing etc. That dog and I are now best friends and I still continue to help with the tasks of playing, walking, and cuddling. I am currently a college student so I have enough time in my everyday schedule to make the dogs a top priority between my classes, exams, and homework. I have classes spaced throughout the day, so I have the capabilities to attend to the dogs during the day in between my class schedule. Some days I do not have classes at all. In my apartment, I do not have dogs. But at my family home, I walk, play, cuddle, fed, and clean up after our two dogs. At a clients house I would follow any specific instructions the owner provides as well as giving the dog my full attention for the allotted time I am there. I would play, walk, and pet the dogs whilst spending time with them.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember—caring for everything from tiny lap companions to big, lovable gentle giants. To me, every pup is more than just a pet; they’re a unique soul with their own quirks, charms, and personality. I take the time to truly connect with each dog, whether they thrive on adventurous walks or prefer cozy afternoons filled with belly rubs. I understand the trust it takes to leave your best friend in someone else’s care, and I treat that responsibility with the utmost respect. My mission is to give you complete peace of mind while creating a safe, happy, and loving environment for your dog. When they’re with me, it’s not just pet sitting—it’s like their own little staycation, filled with care, comfort, and plenty of tail wags, “Belly Rubs, and Snuggles Included!“ As a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, I bring discipline, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility to everything I do—including caring for your furry family members. You can trust me to provide attentive, loving care while respecting your home and routine. I understand that every pet—and every schedule—is unique, so I offer flexible services to fit your needs, whether it’s daytime visits, overnight stays, weekends, or even holidays. My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind, knowing they’re in safe, dependable, and caring hands. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain a secure and clean environment, closely following your routines and any special instructions to ensure their well-being. You can trust me to provide attentive, loving care while respecting your home, creating a calm and stress-free atmosphere for your furry family members. From playtime and walks to feeding and cuddles, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
About: I have two furry babies myself, love working with animals, and have fostered before so, I am confident I can give pets care they deserve! I am currently a part time student and work about three days a week so I have plenty of time to hang out with your furry loved ones! I am understanding that every dog is unique and has to have their needs met differently so, I am totally willing to work with each pet as needed!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pensacola
Sara is fantastic, she took care of our senior cat and provided us with detailed updates every day for an entire week. Even brought all our mail inside during the thunderstorms which was super sweet. I highly recommend her for taking care of your furry child and I'd definitely book with her in the future. Thanks so much, Sara!

Highly recommend our pet sitter for the amazing care they gave my cat, Mina. It’s such a relief knowing Mina was in loving and dependable hands while we were away. They kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. She was clearly comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I truly appreciate the kindness, patience, and attention they gave her. I would absolutely trust them again to care for my kitty.

Shelby is amazing! Our pets loved her and and she was great Scott sharing lots of pics of their happy faces while they played. Bonus: our house wasn’t destroyed in the process of having someone sit our pets while we were gone. 10/10 will want to hire Shelby again 🤍

TLDR: Miriah is thoughtful, respectful, friendly, communicative, flexible, and above all an animal lover. Immediately I was put at ease as soon as I started talking to her about checking in on my feline for a two-week vacation. This was the first time I have used Rover and a sitter that I do not already know. Miriah was very friendly and had no issues with my cat and her orange spiciness. But what really struck me was how thoughtful and respectful she was to my home and even went as far as to leave my taps on during a freeze and was super flexible with booking! It was evident that she is an animal lover and also has quite a few cute ones of her own. She sets a high-bar. Thank you M! <3

My girls are friendly, but they LOVED Kelly, who was able to commit to my cats’ care at a moment’s notice due to a different, poor experience on Rover involving a last minute cancellation. Kelly delivered a gold-star standard of sitting. She is communicative and kind. I look forward to reaching out again when a sitter is needed, and I highly recommend others consider the same.

Logan did drop in visits for our 90 lb energetic puppy and did a great job!! Our pup loved him and was very responsive to him. Provided lots of photos and I felt he was in great hands. I would highly recommend his services and will absolutely use them in the future!

Peyton is extremely detailed with what your dog has eaten, pooped, peed, etc. She really cares for the well being of your animal and makes sure they are cared and loved for while you are away. My dogs enjoyed their time with Peyton. She goes out of her way to make sure their needs are met.

- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
