“Carson went above and beyond taking care of our pups and on extremely short notice. He was really good with them and communicated excellently. Highly recommend him for your next booking. He doesn’t disappoint”

“Sara was great. She braved a tropical storm to stop by and meet my pups and pick up a key. Both warmed to her right away, even my slightly skittish girl. While I was away, Sara provided great care and handling of my giant breed dogs, checking in promptly, sending pics, making sure pets and house were secure. Knowing I have a nearby neighbor vetted by Rover who is communicative, punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsible is such a gift!”

My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to provide consistent and attentive care throughout the week. I’m available to come to your home for visits, walks, and dedicated time with your dog. About: As a pet parent for over 60 years, I have always been in touch with my love for and connection with animals. For the past 12 years, I provided care to dogs, cats, birds and rabbits. Through this time, I learned about caring for animals in different stages of life all with different personalities and needs. My certifications in dog training from the Animal Behavior College has given me the knowledge and skills to further understand how to provide the best personalized care to each pet. When not caring for the pets of clients, I volunteer at a shelter as an advocate for the five freedoms for all animals. Pet care is my passion and is my full time career. My commitment to this line of work and my flexible schedule ensures my ability to meet the care needs of each client and their pets. The primary service I offer is providing care in clients’ homes. Whenever intaking new clients and pets, my first step is to schedule a complimentary meet and greet. During this meet and greet, I have a series of questions that I ask to ensure my understanding of exactly what is needed to care for each pet exactly as they need it. Safety and comfort of the pet is my top priority and pride myself on providing that peace of mind to clients.
About: I have had pets my entire live and have had two dogs of my own recently that I have had the pleasure of training and trail running with. I love pets and being outdoors. My family, friends, and community have relied on me to take care of their homes and pets since I was young. I would love to spend the time getting to know your pets! I am very flexible at the moment so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and take them for nice walks! I am familiar with walking dogs of all sizes and I feel comfortable crating your dogs and cleaning up after any and all accidents if necessary

I'm available for daily drop ins on weekdays and for overnight stays. I do not provide doggie daycare at my home but will travel to you. About: Hi! Im Luis & I have over 10+ years experience with caring and loving for doggies. Former Marine , just absolutely love not only caring for dogs, but also ensuring strong client service for dog parents so that they are assured that their pup is great hands while they are away. Right now I am only doing walks and house sitting at clients home for now while I get my own house squared away.
About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. But when my family got a new dog in 2015, I really became involved. I helped with all necessary puppy tasks such as training, playing, bathing etc. That dog and I are now best friends and I still continue to help with the tasks of playing, walking, and cuddling. I am currently a college student so I have enough time in my everyday schedule to make the dogs a top priority between my classes, exams, and homework. I have classes spaced throughout the day, so I have the capabilities to attend to the dogs during the day in between my class schedule. Some days I do not have classes at all. In my apartment, I do not have dogs. But at my family home, I walk, play, cuddle, fed, and clean up after our two dogs. At a clients house I would follow any specific instructions the owner provides as well as giving the dog my full attention for the allotted time I am there. I would play, walk, and pet the dogs whilst spending time with them.
“My pup loves Heather! She was very communicative with me all during this process, and gives great details regarding her visit. My days are long and I think she does a good job of wearing my little guy out midday.”

Miriah was absolutely AMAZING with our little kitten! She went above and beyond every step of the way, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was in such great hands. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did and would recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing pet sitter. We can't wait to book with her again!

Sara is fantastic, she took care of our senior cat and provided us with detailed updates every day for an entire week. Even brought all our mail inside during the thunderstorms which was super sweet. I highly recommend her for taking care of your furry child and I'd definitely book with her in the future. Thanks so much, Sara!

My girls are friendly, but they LOVED Kelly, who was able to commit to my cats’ care at a moment’s notice due to a different, poor experience on Rover involving a last minute cancellation. Kelly delivered a gold-star standard of sitting. She is communicative and kind. I look forward to reaching out again when a sitter is needed, and I highly recommend others consider the same.

Logan did drop in visits for our 90 lb energetic puppy and did a great job!! Our pup loved him and was very responsive to him. Provided lots of photos and I felt he was in great hands. I would highly recommend his services and will absolutely use them in the future!

Peyton is extremely detailed with what your dog has eaten, pooped, peed, etc. She really cares for the well being of your animal and makes sure they are cared and loved for while you are away. My dogs enjoyed their time with Peyton. She goes out of her way to make sure their needs are met.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
