“Heather was truly the best! She went well over and beyond for our dogs. She gave us detailed information each visit, and even cleaned up our floors because it had been raining and the dogs brought mud in. She showed true care and concern for our dogs, and we couldn’t be more thankful! Highly recommend her!”

“Brittany was great checking in on our dogs for a long weekend. She was timely, communicative, sent lots of updates and was able to help out on a last minute request. We’ll definitely reach out to her again next time we need a sitter/dog walker.”

About: Growing up, I was surrounded by animals—dogs, a cat, horses, a donkey, geese, chickens, goats, and more. I’ve always loved connecting with and caring for them! As an adult, I had my soul dog for 11 wonderful years; she was a beloved member of my family. Sadly, in 2024, we had to say goodbye to her. I truly understand the deep bond we share with our pets, and I’m passionate about providing safe, loving care for others' animals. I have experience with bathing, administering medications, and taking pets for walks - it's an honor to be entrusted with their care! I have flexibility with my employment - I am able to quickly swing by my home or yours throughout the day if needed as well as can offer boarding services for evenings or weekends. I tailor my care to the needs of each animal, as they all have their own personality and preferences! I am available to come to your home and let your dog out for a walk, or I can provided care and boarding services at my home.

“Taylor was great! Very responsive and professional. Loved the details and the photos she included on the Rover Card during her checkins. I will definitely be using her again to watch my cats!”

About: I am a college student who loves anything to do with animals, I love to play, walk, and hangout with animals of all kinds and ages! I go to school, but I don’t have any animals of my own here so I love surrounding myself with different animals as much as possible. I’m available most days to stay, walk, or just visit. I will always care to the best of my abilities for your pet. I only sit and walk at the clients home as the animals feel more comfortable there.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, including dogsitting for friends and neighbors since I was young. I also cared for my own senior dog throughout her later years, which taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable with walks, playtime, feeding routines, and giving dogs the companionship and care they need to feel safe and comfortable. I’m currently staying with my grandparents for the fall and looking to earn part-time income while saving up to return to school. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I have flexibility for dog walks, check-ins, and daytime sitting. I’m happy to work with owners’ schedules and provide consistent, dependable care while making sure each pet gets plenty of attention and exercise. I take pet safety and trust seriously and always treat each dog as if they were my own. For walks, I stay attentive to surroundings, keep dogs secure, and follow each owner’s instructions. I’m also happy to provide updates to owners so they know their pets are doing well.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pensacola
Carson is amazing with communication and is very reliable! This is our first time requesting Carson but it definitely won't be the last time. He is very dependable and arrived on time each day and sent pictures of our three pups both days. I look forward to him spending more time with our pups in the future.

Sara was great. She braved a tropical storm to stop by and meet my pups and pick up a key. Both warmed to her right away, even my slightly skittish girl. While I was away, Sara provided great care and handling of my giant breed dogs, checking in promptly, sending pics, making sure pets and house were secure. Knowing I have a nearby neighbor vetted by Rover who is communicative, punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsible is such a gift!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
