Multi pet mom and full-time animal tender! In 2023 I started using Rover to find a sitter to care for my animals while I worked long days. I needed reliable help. Someone who I could count on to show up, love on my babies, and make sure they were happy. Many years after using sitters to care for my animals, I decided I wanted my life to look differently. I wanted to do something that made me happy! I started caring for pet's full time on Rover in August of 2024. Now, I have the ability to help make the lives of the people in my community just a tad easier! Let me help you - ask me about all the customized services I offer! I have worked in 2 animal hospitals and I am comfortable administering medication. I am also familiar in handling animals who need extra care or specific attention. I will engage, love, and provide care as if they were my own!

Shelby is fantastic! She was on time, sent lots of updates, and communication was so fast. Our cat Binx is normally pretty skittish around new people, but he was comfortable enough around her to explore while she was in our house and he even let her pet him. It was so nice to come home and see Binx calm and relaxed because of the exceptional care he received from her while we were gone. She even cleaned all of his food bowls! We will definitely book Shelby again!

Shelby took good care of my dog! She sent many pictures and was communicative! We came home to a happy pooch!
Shelby was amazing!!!! She came and checked in on our dog and cat while we were gone for a quick trip. Our dog has some anxiety/special tending to and she did amazing with him! We are so grateful!
Shelby is amazing! I highly recommend her. She communicated well and promptly. I got updates of my dogs regularly and was able to enjoy my vacation knowing they were in great hands. She handled everything with great care, knowledge and common sense!

I'll care for your fur babies the way I would want mine cared for. Do they like belly rubs, enjoy a game of fetch, need extensive walks, special senior care, medically complex routine? Every fur baby has their own needs. I do my absolute best to conscientiously follow instructions to keep your family member comfortable and happy!

A typical day
A walk around the block to enjoy all of the smells is a must in the early mornings. In the evenings we like to take the toys to the back yard and play, sunbathe, and roll around in the grass.
