“Lisa is absolutely wonderful!! She really cared for and spent time with them. She is an excellent communicator and sent great updates and pictures. Our trip was so much more enjoyable knowing she was taking such great care of our babies!! I will use Lisa for future events!!”

About: I’ve had or taken care of dogs since I was 3 years old and have had several dog breeds within my lifetime. I currently have a mini poodle and she is my heart dog! I am a second grade teacher in Santa Rosa County and am looking for a way to make some extra money, meet new people, and care for and play with pets! I can stay at your house or drop in during lunch or before and after school and throughout the day on weekends. I live in an apartment on the first floor with my mini poodle Penny. We walk every morning and afternoon after I get home from teaching (around 3:30 pm), then again before bed each night. We also have a dog park that we play in. Penny loves the park! 🐾

“Kaitlyn was amazing! I loved receiving the rover cards each day of our trip keeping us updated with how our babies were doing and sending photos along with that, it’s really a great comfort while you’re away. I feel like my animals were well taken care of, and I will absolutely be booking with her again in the future.”

About: I have grown up around animals my whole life. Both dogs and cats. I am also very well versed in training dogs. Training my dog is one of the best parts of my day. I spend a good amount of time training my dog. Teaching my dog new things is one of the best parts of my day. I love working with my dog. I follow the instructions that are given to me. I am a rule follower and what steps are given to me are the ones I take.
“I highley reccomend booking Michele! She was very caring and attentive to my 2 cats during the drop-in visits. I now have peace of mind that they will be comfortable in our own home and be in good hands when Michelle stops by.”

About: I've had pets growing up and my own as an adult. I was taught pets are Family and that is how I care for my own, and other people's, pets. I can walk, clean up after, feed, and give medication to dogs. I've raised dogs from puppy through senior age and the peaceful passing on from this world. I work remotely, and make my own schedule, so I have a lot of flexibility to care for your fur baby. Walks, feeding, or sitting that works around whatever your schedule is. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex that has a fenced dog park and plenty of space to walk. I have a pet friendly apartment with a cat of my own currently. She's been around dogs and cats her entire life. Let me know your pets preferences and I'll accommodate to keep them comfortable and happy while you're away.

“Jennifer was nothing short of amazing! We felt extremely comfortable with her during the meet and greet with our girls and can tell from the photos that they enjoyed her company. She took care of our girls the same way we do and made sure to spend the entirety of her stays doing what the dogs love doing- fetch and giving tons of affection! Lots of great daily photos and updates. We would 100% have Jennifer watch our girls again. Thank you soooo much for taking such great care of our girls and house!”

“I am so grateful to have found Ashley on Rover! We trusted her with drop-in visits to give medicine to our cat twice a day, and felt very confident with her ability to take care of everything that needed to be done while we were away. Ashley was clearly comfortable with all kinds of animals, and was very nurturing towards our cat when we met. She is very responsible, trustworthy and I felt comfortable leaving our cat in her care the minute I met her. Thank you Ashley!”

I am home most of the time so I will be able to stay with your pet(s) a majority of the day during boardings and sittings. Going on vacation? Work trip? Family emergency? Whatever the situation, you can trust me to watch your pets while you are away! If you choose the boarding option, I am more than happy to welcome your furry friends into my home! About: My entire life I have been surrounded by animals, especially dogs! Over the years I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience in caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes-administering medications, daily walks, specific diets and increasing daily activities. I’m comfortable handling everything from high-energy puppies to senior dogs. My friends and family often rely on me to pet-sit, trusting me to provide the same level of love and care I give to my own pets. With my deep understanding of canine behavior and my unwavering commitment to their well-being, I ensure that every dog I look after is happy, healthy, and well-loved. Currently I am focusing on studying for my boards so I am home for the majority of the day! I take a break every two hours, in which I will play with my dogs, spend time outside with them and hangout with them! 🫶🏽🐾 I try to make the puppies feel like they are still with family, so I will try to keep the routine as familiar as possible. I go based off instruction of the owner and if I have any doubts, I ask.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Gulf Breeze with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
