About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and deep passion for animal care. I currently work at a shelter, where I’ve gained hands-on experience training puppies and caring for senior dogs, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need. Additionally, I volunteer at a veterinary clinic, which has given me valuable insight into animal health and behavior. Beyond my work experience, I’ve had pets my entire life and truly love being around animals. I’m also planning to attend vet school, so every opportunity to work with animals strengthens my skills and knowledge. I’m comfortable handling dogs of all ages and temperaments, and I know how to keep them happy, active, and well cared for. I work at a veterinary clinic, so animal care and safety are very important to me. My regular work schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am–6:00pm. I’m fully available on Mondays and on weekends, and I’m also available in the evenings after 6:00pm on workdays. If a pet is located near my workplace in Gulf Breeze, I may also be able to stop by and spend time with them during my lunch break. I’m happy to discuss scheduling and see what works best for your pet’s needs! I have extensive hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, where I’ve learned how to properly handle pets, administer medications as directed, monitor for signs of illness or stress, and maintain a clean, safe environment. I’m also currently in the process of applying to veterinary school, which reflects my long-term commitment to animal health and welfare. In addition to my veterinary experience, I have worked and volunteered with multiple animal shelters and fostered many dogs. Through this, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs, including senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and high-energy pets. I’m comfortable following specific feeding routines, exercise needs, and behavioral guidelines, and I always provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible, providing regular updates to owners, and ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times.

About: I've had dogs my entire life, I'm experienced with households that have to keep dogs separated, senior care, kenneling, and some clicker training. I currently have dogs and cats and am able to monitor pet interactions closely. I'm currently a part time student and have a part time job scheduled 5-8 hour shifts, I've got plenty of free time to take care of pets though strict time schedules for feeding or training may not always fit in with the hours I get scheduled and would have to be discussed. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I can play with your dog or administer medication if your dog is elderly or has medical needs. I can scoop poop if needed.

About: Hello! My name is Joanna. I grew up around animals since I lived on acreage. As a kid we had cows, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. I used to pet sit all of the time when I was in high school and even helped train bird dogs. I currently have a dog of my own, her name is Aurora, she is 85 lbs of pure outgoing love. I have plenty of experience with cats as well, I used to cat sit and even foster. I have a pretty lenient schedule, I am flexible so as long as we are able to communicate pick up and drop off it should be fine. We live on acreage where I takes the dogs for a walk and we also have two big dog kennels. I have a dog and so does my mom so they will have friends to play with. We have one outdoor cat but no indoor cats. If you have cats we have a litter box and they will stay inside.

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 9 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

About: I’ve had all kinds of animals throughout life ferrets, dogs, cats, squirrels, turtles, and reptiles a plenty. I love animals and I’m looking forward to watching after yours!! I’m a working musician with plenty of free time at the moment especially Monday-Friday. I’m almost always at home and I should have no problem working with your schedule!!!! I have a fenced in backyard and a home that is pet friendly. I also have two dependable vehicle to see if I need to come walk your dog or take them to the park!

About: l've had over 10 dogs throughout my life and I currently have 4 (2 at each of my parents houses). I also have a cat and I love them all so much! I've always been an avid animal lover and would love to meet your pets and help take care of them! I can board them at my home if they are dog and cat friendly and I can also come to your home to care for them! I am at home full time and am currently taking a gap between school so 1 am fully capable of giving your pet the care and love it needs 24/7 while you are away! I live in a large neighborhood with sidewalks and lots of grass which is great for walking your pup and I have a large backyard for your animals to play in!! I am able to do full day care all days! I currently am taking a break from work and schooling so I can take care of you dog or cat at any time any day of the week! I can walk you pup, do drop in visits, overnight care, or anything needed! (my profile says my house has 4 dogs but the house I board any pets at only has 2! my other two dogs live with my mom!) I have no preference between boarding and sitting! I live in a private residential home with lots of room for your pet to play and/or relax! I have a large, fenced yard for them to play in as well. I have two dogs and a cat, all of which are very friendly! My two dogs are large dogs, (Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog) so if your pet is afraid of large dogs and/or doesn't like high energy dogs, they may not enjoy their stay! They are very sweet and don't fight with other dogs unless provoked and my Bernese is very skittish. Some animals could get overwhelmed from their high energy behavior. They calm down fairly quickly (10-20 minutes) then become very relaxed and lazy dogs. My cat is very sweet and loves dogs as well. She was raised by a Collie and loves to play with dogs if they let her. Your pet can sleep in a kennel if that's preferred but I'm also perfectly fine with them sleeping and staying around the house at all times if you prefer that as well!
